now in physical therapy from flux walking shoes. shoe caused Overpronation resulting in excessive inward rolling triggering hip pain caused by bursitis.i thought my hip was going out and went to orthopedic. the doc set me up with PT. luckly i wore my flux shoes first visit. she had me walk around and noticed the overpronation and she recommended getting rid of those shoes asap. i’m going back to new balance.

I ordered my size and they were too small. Wanted to exchange them, but I can’t get any response from the company. At this point I feel like it’s a complete scam. Stuck with over $300 worth of shoes that don’t fit. I have reached out now seven times. Going to go to speed it with my credit card company. Do not buy from this company!!! if you do get ready to get stuck with the product, you can’t use if it doesn’t fit

I should have paid attention to these reviews. I’ve never dealt with a company with such poor Customer Service. Please don’t make my mistake.
I ordered shoes and the website states free shipping over a certain dollar amount. I was over that dollar amount. They charged me shipping anyways. I emailed them pointing out that they’re supposed to be free shipping and please refund the shipping. Their response? Essentially. “Yes you’re right. But our system defaults to charging you shipping so you should have changed the setting at checkout. Thanks. Bye”
They acknowledge that I was supposed to get my item shipped for free. They acknowledge that the only reason it’s not being shipped for free is that their system defaults to charging me. They make zero attempt to correct the issue. Just tell me I’m right and go away.

I have now chosen to return my shoes because I don’t want to do business with such a company. The return process is also cumbersome so if you don’t like the way, the shoes fit or look, they will make it very very difficult for you to do a return.

There are so many shoe companies at this time that you can try on and return for free with great customer service that I do not recommend this company at all.

I purchases both the Trainer and the Trail Runner in size 8.5. Both pairs were too small so I re-ordered both in a size 9.5, I was shocked to find that they were the same size. Flux had no interest in reviewing the manufacturing mistake.

Returning shoes from this store is a nightmare. Their return process is ridiculous and abusive. Shoes might look great online, but once you see them in person and try them on, the experience can be completely different. In my case, I didn’t even wear them—I simply tried them on, didn’t like how they looked on my feet, and decided to return them. I’m fully within my rights as a consumer to do so.

However, they only approve the return if they decide the shoes are “unworn,” which leaves everything up to their personal judgment. On top of that, they charge a $13 return fee, even though you also have to pay for the return shipping. It feels like they do everything possible to keep your money, placing unnecessary obstacles and penalties. It’s as if you’re being forced to keep a product you’re not happy with.

These kinds of practices are dishonest and unfair. Companies like Nike or Adidas don’t put you through such a tedious and punishing return process.

Additionally, if they arbitrarily decide your shoes don’t meet their return conditions, you could end up without the product and without your money. That’s why I strongly recommend only buying here with a credit card that offers consumer protection against opportunistic practices like this.

I will not be buying from this company again and I do not recommend this brand to anyone.

I've owned and worn three pairs of Flux shoes. I'm not sure what the negative reviews are about. The shoes are exceptional quality and by far my favorite barefoot brand.

Great shoes, awful customer service.
Clearly advertised cash back of 40% off was not given to me. Apparently to flux, $72.80 of in store credit is 40% of $260 (purchase, not including taxes and shipping).
They won't honor the difference that I am owed even after showing photos of said 40% cash back advertisement.
Buy from a competitor of flux who actually honor their companies coupons.

If I could give ZERO stars, I would. This was one of the worst online shopping experiences I’ve ever had. Flux Footwear sent me the wrong shoes and the wrong size. When I tried to exchange them, suddenly the shoes I originally ordered were no longer available in my size—which felt a little suspicious, like they never had them to begin with.

On top of that, I never even received an order confirmation—just a shipping confirmation out of nowhere. The whole thing felt off from the start.

To make it worse, their customer service is non-existent. No phone number, barely any responses to emails, and when they do respond, it’s like they’re just trying to get rid of you. And yes, they charged me for the return—even though the mistake was 100% theirs.

This company does not care about their customers at all. Save yourself the frustration and shop somewhere reputable

Shoes are GREAT, service not so much. If you are used to Amazon next day purchases these ARE NOT the shoes for you. 1 it takes about 2 weeks to get your shoes and IF they don't fit you have to return them and wait for them to be processed (2 more weeks) before they ship you another pair (another 2 weeks). Bottom line if are not in a hurry and have already figured out the correct size (order +1/2 to 1 size bigger) then you'll love these.

Abysmal! They are not willing to work with customers. First time buyer, I read the reviews on fit, the size was still not right and, they just won’t help with an exchange - not trying to return just an exchange (I’ll even pay the shipping). I would NOT recommend this company. I understand policies but, where is the ability to think critically for the customer.

This is a dishonest company that is not forthcoming with its disclosures. In order to make a return, there is a very arduous process on a return portal, that requires three photos be uploaded of each return- yet the portal often freezes when trying to upload. There is also an undisclosed charge of $13 per item returned. Stay far away from this company.

The shoes are fine but the return/exchange policy is a deal breaker for me. Flux will charge you $13 for each item you return. I attempted an exchange which they say is free but they did not have the color I wanted, I also asked to exchange it for a different style of shoe and they said they could only exchange it for the same shoe in a different color. So despite my purchasing a pair of shoes and attempting to exchange 2 other pairs that they could not accommodate, I was charged $13 for each shoe I returned. It could become very expensive to find the size and fit you like. The colors on the website appear different than in real life and the sizing is not true to your normal fit. In addition, shipping takes over a week and I have been trying to return and exchange my shoes for 2 weeks and countless emails and pictures back and forth. These shoes are not worth the hassle.

NEVER PAY FOR EXPEDITED SHIPPING! I emailed when I realized they shipped my shoes regular ground and I asked for a refund on the shipping upcharge that I did NOT receive. They refused and even argued with me that they shipped it appropriately. Horrible customer service!

I loved the adapts a year ago but they rebuilt the shoe and don’t even carry my size 6 anymore. I’m disappointed as I thought I found the perfect shoe finally. I have no idea why they had to replace the 1.0. It’s like the bigger a company gets poor quality kicks in.

I recently purchased a pair of shoes from their online clearance section, selecting the size I typically wear. Unfortunately, the shoes do not fit as expected; they run small!! I requested to exchange.
Given the growing trend of online shopping, many companies are adapting to customer needs by offering exchanges—especially when it comes to sizing issues, which I believe is a reasonable and fair accommodation.
They denied an exchange of size.
I will not buy any shoe from this company, as they adhere to an antiquated policy of no exchanges.

Agree with HORRIBLE customer service. I decided to try this company for the first time. I read a lot of reviews, which seemed to indicated they were true to size. I ordered my usual size, maybe half a size up. They came and were so tight I couldn't get them on over my foot! The shoes I got were on clearance. I asked if I could exchange for a larger size. A robot emailed me back immediately and said yes, we guarantee fit, and sent a link. The link didn't work, and after a few more emails I got one from a real person saying sorry, sucks to be you, "donate them." That was their advice lol. I don't have $100 to spend on crappy, uncomfortable, horrible sized shoes to donate. Arguable the worst part is that they don't even give you a chance to review them on their website after your purchase, so others can be warned. They must cherry pick or write their own reviews. AVOID THIS COMPANY. 

I ordered shoes/sneakers from Flux for the first time. I ordered a blush color. I received black. I tried to set up a return online and it won't let me because it says they were on clearance. Exactly like someone else stated here in their review. I was not aware they were on clearance and not able to return or exchange, otherwise, I would not have ordered since your not able to try them on, however, this is a mistake on their end sending me the wrong color. I have sent email messages and sent messages in their bot chat and no one is getting back to me so I can exchange these for the color I ordered. Needless to say, I won't order from them again!

I purchased one pair of these shoes and loved them. Needed a new pair. Couldn’t see what size I had purchased in past because it rubbed off. Purchased my normal size. Received and they’re WAY too small. So I pursue an exchange. I am then told they are on “clearance”. This is only one of a few styles they offer, and they’re not getting rid of it. Usually companies styles on clearance because they are no longer restocking. They put it on sale, and call it clearance, then refuse to exchange. I can understand no returns but no exchanges? When your shoes fit crazy small? They lost a repeat customer. Terrible way to provide service to your customers.

Horrible experience, the shoes are way too small (at least have the text somewhere that your shoes run a full size small!) and when you request an EXCHANGE they refuse to budge if you purchased while on sale. Bogus, will definitely never purchase from them again.

Deceptive marketing. "Buy these shoes, we have a sale going on right now." I need a half size bigger so I emailed the company and got this in return, "sorry, these were on sale, no returns or exchanges." I guess its my fault for not trying to find out why they were on sale....but not really, that should have been in bold during check out.
