I wanted to send flowers at the last minute and FDE came thru for me.
VERY DISAPPOINTED
I ordered flowers for my mother in law for Mothers Day a few years ago, her flowers were delivered but vase was broken, flowers were dead, and no note. She had no idea who sent them, and in the process cut her hand opening the box due to broken glass!!! I called told my complaint they said they would resend and never did. Now I get emails with so much off order to order, yeah right, I just delete them. I will never use again!!!!!

Hello back in may I placed a order for a 40 b-day flowers and paid over 53 bucks for them on my credit card I called many times just got run around many times I put in over 5 hours of my time to get what I paid for still no flowers it's a big f.....scam I work very hard for my money don't ever ever buy from these scam people
Never use them
I placed this order for Mother's Day. It still has not been delivered, but my credit card was charged. I have called and left messages and emailed customer service as well as the CEO with no responses. I will never order from here again, especially since they still have my money and I do not have any flowers.
SCAM
my son ordered flowers for his girlfriends birthday. They go to school together and are home for summer break. He was excited to get to surprise her with flowers and chocolates. Not only were there a ton of hidden fees but nothing has ever been delivered. Flower Delivery Express was super quick and efficient in charging my card!

So...Today I placed an order for same day delivery online...then read the reviews after the pament went through. I immediately called to ensure that my $65 did not just vanish. I asked to speak to a manager or supervisor and was put off by the fact that I was asked 3 times to state my concerns before they finally transferred my call. This was an important order as I wanted to apologize to a friend of mine...TODAY! I did wait on the line for a bit...but Jose (I can't remember his ID #) picked up the line and I explained that I was not filing a complaint...but after reading reviews was looking for a solid answer as to if the flowers ordered would be coming in. I was still in the mindset that I had been scammed as he told me that he could call the florist...but could not get me in touch with the florist myself...or tell me who the florist I would be sending out the order. He was patient with all the questions I asked over and over...and listened to me state...OVER AND OVER...how important it was that the flowers and card be delivered TODAY. He put me on hold as he contacted the florist....and I did wait a bit...but he kept getting back on the line to apologize for the hold time. Told me that the florist did receive the order in time and would be on the last delivery they send out. I had him repeat himself a couple times. Even after he assured me that the order would come today...I was still checking reviews and my email for confirmation from the florist. I never got the confirmation....but the flowers did show up...and are beautiful. The price was a bit steep...and yeah I could have gotten them cheaper if I went and got them myself...but that was not an option...and was worth the extra $ for being on short notice. Everything is good right now...but I was still very uneasy until I KNEW they arrived as I could not track the order online (the link did not work) and could not get an ETA. I usually do not write reviews...but I was so sure after reading so many...that I got scammed.
TLDR: Ordered...got charged..read reviews...sh!t a brick...until all ends well. Maybe I'm just lucky on a bad luck day.
Order with Fruit and Chocolate
I placed an order for a gift basket that included fruit, roses, and an addition box of chocolates. I was very pleased with the order but upon second thought, I should have gone for the upgrade. Next time I’ll order more. Delivery came just on time as well.
Horrible Value
The flowers were delivered the day AFTER Mother's Day. I wouldn't be so upset, but the bouquet that arrived were 12 tulips sticking out of a vase. For $126 (after free shipping and "$40 off coupon"). They looked nothing like the picture online, and the description on the website never mentioned the low number of flowers.
This is an unacceptable charge for the product received. Well noted.
Horrible
The worst experience ever! Ordered flowers for my boss mother in law per his request and guess what? Flowers did not arrive!!!! Called them 4 times!!!!! Flowers arrived one day later than was ordered at 5:30 pm. How horrible is that?!!!!! Never order from them again. Do not recommend!!!!!!!!

I got really scared after reading the reviews online after I ordered the flowers for my mother. They showed up at my mother's house on time we're beautiful and the chocolates came with it and we're in very good shape. I apparently got them on a good day. Regardless thank you !

Worst customer service ever. The customer service department reads from a script and has no real answers, you can hear a bunch of background noise when speaking to them on the phone, not sure they even can hear me. Then they tell me it is either our for delivery or has been delivered and I am calling to say it hasn't been delivered. When I emailed customer service they send me a rebate of 50 so I can reorder???, that will never happen. DO NOT RECOMMEND...

i used FDE for a church event we were hosting and I was impressed they were able to bring such big arrangements especially on short notice. I also ordered a few gift baskets. Be aware that ordering things such as vases and extras can add up, but the savings still hold up in the end. Most likely going to go with them again for other events when I need big arrangements on a few days' notice.

I ordered a pink arrangement for the celebration of the birth of my grand daughter. What they received looked like something that you would send to a "Clown Parade"!!! Dark shades of flowers with a yellow 'Happy Face' balloon attached, instead of a balloon saying "It's A Girl" along with the pink and white flowers arrangement. I was HORRIFIED when my son sent me a picture of what they received in the hospital, along with thanking me for the flowers.. I called the company and got a big run-around (hung up on several times, barely could make out what the person was saying on the other end of the phone, etc.). Long story short, they gave me two $50,00 vouchers to be used in the future because of "the mistake". (Gosh, my first time in becoming a Grandmother and what they sent was embarrassing and disgusting for to welcome a new little baby girl into the world). Time passed and I decided to save the vouchers to use for flowers for my daughter & son-in-law's anniversary. WOW, was I EVER SURPRISED when the vouchers wouldn't go thru (and found out that both of them could NOT be used at the same time either). I spent an entire morning on my computer, on the phone trying to call them, etc, to get ABSOLUTELY NOWHERE!!! As I have seen others that have had very similar experiences with this company, after the fact,, I sadly am adding mine to this pile. Like SOOO MANY OTHERS finally was able to apply one of the $50.00 vouchers to a purchase (an orchid plant), to be sent for my daughter & son-in-law's anniversary. Lo & behold, by the time all was added up (including the MANDATORY $5.99 required for the pot it comes in), it ended up costing me $78.04 EXTRA!!! It was too late for me to even try ordering thru another company. I did not receive any email confirmation delivery as they state on their website. Instead, I had to make many more phone calls to find out if a delivery was ever even made. I was SOOO DISGUSTED with this SECOND HORRID EXPERIENCE USING THIS COMPANY that I ended up calling my bank. I told them what I had been thru TWICE with this company. I even tried to leave feedback on their site directly and it would not allow you to leave anything less than 5-STARS!!! THIS IS A TOTAL SCAM-OUTFIT!!! DO NOT GET INVOLVED WITH THIS COMPANY UNLESS YOU ENJOY "GRIEF" and "DISAPPOINTMENT" (TWICE, in my case)!!!
P.S. They do not even deserve "ONE STAR"!!! It should be ONE BIG HUGE ZERO!!!
Worst customer service ever!
I placed an order on a Friday at noon and you waited till 3:30pm to call me and tell me that you could not make the delivery. Gave me no time for an alternative company to deliver. You sent me email saying I had a $60 credit that had to be used this week. Tried to use it with the link you provided. No place to put the code in for the credit. Your IT people really suck or you think you can keep screwing customers and we will take it! You are wrong! I vote with my money. I'm going to take advantage of the Internet to let them know how I was treated. I bought flowers several times with you. I had my own business for 25 years and there is no way that I would treat customers this way!
Do not use FDE under any circumstance
I messed up by not reading reviews before using this service. I had the exact same problem as many reviews here. At checkout, my price was $78.97. I was billed 120.32. Funnily enough, the invoice line items only added up to 108.32 which just goes to show you they're randomly adding things. I called customer service and they explained the extra fees to me and I explained that you can't add fees after the fact. When I checked out with my credit card we had an agreed price of $79. I wouldn't have agreed to $120. After much back and forth they agreed to refund me $20 of the $40 and gave me some store credit, which I'll never be using. This is the shadiest service I have ever purchased from online. I will never use them again and I will warn everyone I know about them.

Also, the flower quality was low and the bouquet was very basic, despite paying for the "exquisite" upgrade. My flowers began to wilt less than a day after purchase. Stay away from these guys.

I live in Vancouver, and used Flower Delivery Express to send flowers to a friend who had just given birth in Edmonton. First of all, I thought that I was purchasing $40 flowers, then when it came time to enter my credit card information the total charges came through at over $80 after all the ridiculous fees they add on!
Secondly, when I got my credit card statement the charges came through in USD, even though it was a Canadian transaction sent to a location in Canada! Nowhere on the website did it say that my transaction would be in USD, and this added on over $20 to the total price. Had I known that, I WOULD NOT HAVE bought the flowers through them.
Thirdly, I specifically asked for same day delivery, as you never know how long someone will be in the hospital after giving birth. Later in the day, a lady called me from an external florist company with some questions about the order. I asked her what time I could expect the flowers to be there, and she told me there was no way they would arrive that day. I was very upset, and told her that I had specifically requested same day delivery, or I wouldn't have purchased the flowers at all. She very rudely told me that she was sub-contracted by Wesley's/Flower Delivery Express to put together the order and that I didn't pay her anything or give her any instructions.
In the end, the flowers arrived in the evening on the NEXT DAY, literally as my friend was on her way out the door as she had been sent home!
This part is the real kicker, when I called Wesley's/Flower Delivery Express to tell them I wanted a refund as what I got was in no way what I had ordered, they proceeded to tell me that the only way I was going to get a refund was to have my JUST GIVEN BIRTH and HAD SURGERY friend return to the hospital, with the flowers that are now most definitely dead, and we could then receive a refund.
I argued with the customer service team for quite a while before realizing I was getting nowhere. I will now dispute this transaction with my credit card company and hopefully have a better result...
I was as extremely dissatisfied with this company as a person could be, and I will NEVER order from them EVER again!
