Fitness genes has given me an in depth insight into why my body reacts in different ways to certain exercises or lifestyle changes. I have yet to try their work out plans which is the next step and why I've not given 5 stars. I would love an app as it would be easier to keep track. I would and have recommended the test for friends and family.

Really interesting and easy to understand advice. Regular reports are helpful to remind me.

I've really enjoyed my reports that have come out of the profiling. They are detailed ( which I enjoy) and updates are sent regularly. Some of the science is difficult to interpret in terms of day to day relevance, but its easy to identify traits and work on the things you feel you need to. As someone who has played fast team games all my life, I can see how my genetics have influenced this. Its all very interesting. Excellent customer service too.

I already had my DNA profile to hand from a well known family history site. So charge from FitnessGenes for analysis of DNA only, was in my view good value. I am a really keen cyclist with a strong science background, so found the insights fascinating and will actively use the tips to aid my training.

Fitness Genes has changed my life, and helped me become healthier as I understand my DNA related traits. Also, it has made me understand what I am what I am and WHY! This has made me happier overall. I now why my perfromance in several areas is related to my DNA.

4 weeks into an 8 week Get Lean exercise programme, and the experience has been fantastic. It’s a programme design specifically for my genetic type and it really has delivered. In four weeks I’ve lost fat, gained muscle and my weight is stable. But more importantly for me sticking to the programme has been a great motivator to get to the gym regularly and exercise every day. It’s designed to be easy to fit into any work schedule or life style , doesn’t require hours at the gym and is very effective. This along with regular updates on my genetic sample and lots of personalised nutrition advice through the easy to navigate website has changed the way I look at fitness. I absolutely recommend Fitness Genes if you have any interest in your physical and mental wellbeing.

It’s great that the focus of the gene findings relate to health and fitness, rather than the broader range of conditions about which we may be less able to influence the outcomes. The Fitness Genes focus on useful aspects. With this new information, I am interested to see the benefits of a targeted fitness training programme.

I am finding the information and guidance provided by FitnessGenes to be a really positive experience. When I receive information of a positive nature it spurs me on and when I’m in a category of higher risk, equally it spurs me on to implement lifestyle and nutrition strategies to address it as much as I can. Rather than thinking, it’s my genes, I am powerless, I am thinking of all the positives I have and all the actions I can take to improve my lot.

The data that you never knew you needed. I’ve always been someone who has wondered what’s going on, on the inside and Fitness genes has unlocked that data for me I really like the way that Fitness genes have set out all the data and the fact that the data keeps updating for further insights is really useful. It’s easy to understand and the useful hints and tips on how to make a difference are really plentiful.
There are lots of meal options for your macros and the work out plans are very reasonably priced. I have recommended to lots of friends already.

I have revised my rating for FitnessGenes. After reviewing it pointing out the difficulty in interpreting all the data, I was contacted by one of their representatives, Alex, who helped me understand the data and helped me go through it and what to look for. After our conversation I received a shorter set of data, the most important and relevant, which means I can now start doing the necessary adjustments in my lifestyle!
The information of the test is super comprehensive and the customer service excellent, and they are now also ensuring there is an easier way to read all the information provided which I think is crucial!

As someone deeply interested in genetics, epigenetics, nutrition, fitness, and cognitive neuroscience, the information that FitnessGenes has provided is next level for me as a student and an individual. I have found markers validating and useful - I have taken my results from the site to my physician and sought help for currently unexplained, massive inflammation levels, which I have seen confirmed as a risk from numerous results from the site.
