Firebird have refused to honour the Hitachi heat pump parts warranty. They are claiming the “was not registered“ get out clause although our plumber bought it directly from Firebird. The central internal compressor has broken rendering it unserviceable so they won’t replace it. That’s weeks without heating and now it will be months of arguing. Avoid them.

I had a boiler failure this week that left me without heating or hot water. On ringing Matthew at Firebird I was met with the most pleasant and resourceful person who could not have done more to help resolve the problem. We were sent a Firebird engineer (Brian) who was perhaps the most competent and knowledgeable engineer I have come across. He worked late into the evening having come from a previous job. I know that Firebird get a lot of bad reviews but feel it is not them but maybe less resourceful"heating engineers" that are to blame. My advice is to deal with Matthew and you will be more than pleased.

Rung up on behalf of customer for warranty visit. After service good to deal with. Job sheet and rates set and parts sent out. Nice and easy

Firebird have been wonderful with us. We did have a few running problems with our new boiler, but Firebird came several times to service it. When they became unhappy with it, they went beyond the call of duty and have given us a new boiler. It is quietly purring away as I write. Not only did Kenny come and fit it, but he tidied up the layout around it to make it more practical. He could not have been kinder and more helpful, and was quick and efficient too. Many thanks to Gary for arranging this. Thank you Firebird for such a high level of customer care.

A success story - after local service company diagnosed a faulty burner motor in my daughter's Firebird Silver oil boiler they were quoting huge cost for parts to repair. After a call to Mathew Cook at Firebird UK everything got sorted - a new motor under warranty was arranged with Eilish in our local NI Firebird office, fitting was done by a fantastic local engineer recommended by Eilish the next day (a Saturday afternoon)
Apologies to Mathew for perhaps my rather brusque initial call, but thanks for listening and acting so fast. Wouldn't hesitate in recommending Firebird, the best 5 star customer service experience in a very long time.

First Anniversary of our new boiler.
I am really impressed, from my records we have used 500 litres of oil less this year.
The radiators seem to get hotter quicker and the boiler now being outside has allowed us to have an extra cupboard.

I am very happy I purchased my boiler last year its very quiet and economical to run

Highly recommend, called Monday morning attended Tuesday morning within the hour and repaired the Boiler, really helpful and responsive staff. Will Defiantly use this service again :)

Our experience with firebird is amazing. High efficient, 10 year warranty and amazing aftercare if anything goes wrong. We have a Envirogreen C35 kitchen in our house and it’s by far the best and most efficient oil boiler we’ve had! What’s better is I know we’ve a HVO fossil free future too with it.

What a fantastic company and service provided. I have had a big problem with my boiler and I git in touch with firebird to ask what I could do about it. I spoke with a man called Matthew who arranged the same day for a really lovely man to come and sort it out. The engineer that came , who was very lovely, but I don't know his name, knew exactly what to do, shared his vast knowledge and well if I could put 10 stars it wouldn't be enough to show how incredible Mt experience was with this company. The 1st boiler installed by Fusion Heating/Energy, i can understand the sub stand of this company but the 2nd boiler installed was by a qualified plumber who has worked with our family for years and installed many parts that were sub standard over the 3yrs the two boilers were in our home. We still have the boiler out side you are welcome to come and view it, test it whatever. I also have pictures of the damage they have done to our property and of the burnt out rusty disintergrated parts that came out. Free scheme or not, what your company has caused us is worth a lot more than the price of your boilers.

Still waiting for parts from Firebird . It’s been three weeks now . In the bitter cold I am trying to heat the house with fan heaters and I have no hot water . They are absolutely the worst company I have ever encountered . Their boiler has been a nightmare ever since they installed it a couple of years ago . Nothing but trouble . If I wasn’t a pensioner with very limited income I would install a different boiler but I can’t afford another one .

I had a Boiler fitted last year had it serviced last week and the plumber said it was spotless inside so he gave me a discount because he didn't hacmve to work hard.

Absolutely shocking experience since having our new boiler installed Xmas 2019.. this boiler hasn’t worked for longer than 6mths at a time. Constant break downs and components needing replaced. Our latest saga started on boxing’s day having to wait 3 weeks for new parts only for another part to break!! 6 weeks now with a total of 8 days having heating or hot water and now waiting for another 2 new parts!!! No communication from our installer absolutely at our wits end.

We have had our Firebird Range Cooker for about 9 years now and it not only cooks our food but also heats our home and hot water. Yes we have had issues along the years but our recent issue involved the whole unit cooker and boiler going down but with the very grateful help from Matthew Cook the Customer Service Manager for Firebird UK, who managed to source the parts and with the help of a local service engineer we are now back up and running in a nice and toasty house again, well done Matthew, cant thank you enough
