like : 'lost in transit', or other fertile inventions,
reflects the Perfidy of the speaker.

If i had the goods -why be acerbic & write this review ?
I'll have to start checking any potential purchase,
which would breach a faith in trust & probity . . .
and slide into paranoia.
One shark in Jan, one in April and this mob in Nov.
The affront will endure.
Caveat Emptor - sucker beware.

Far out i wish i read these reviews before i purchased from this scam. bought some chisels and stuff and no conformation email, paid for express, omd this guy.

100% a scam DO NOT BUY. I brought a 6 pack of chisels and a rebate plane via his website finetools.com.au. I never received an email with a receipt of purchase but the funds were deducted from my bank account.

Worried that I hadn't received a receipt, I sent him an email via the email address listed on the website. Three days later nothing. Being pretty worried that I just had been scammed, I tried to find an alternative contact but there was nothing on the website. Luckily I found another site that does have his details listed.

I gave him a call and asked if he had receive my order. He stated he had but was moving the "warehouse" so he couldn't send it until Wednesday the week after. Feeling confident with that answer. I. expected to receive a tracking note Wednesday and things would be good.

Unfortunately nothing was sent on Wednesday and gave him a call on Friday but he didn't answer. I received a reply to a txt message I sent on Saturday where I was requesting a refund and he stated that he would refund me the money but I'm still waiting.

I have disputed the transaction with my bank but I doubt I'll see the money. PLEASE DON'T RISK it and buy from this guy as you're likely to be in the same boat I am. There are so many better businesses in Melbourne that care about their customers. Timbecon, Carbatec, Etc.

They are thieves and should not be trading. I bought a chisel and the money was immediately deducted from my account. Months later and several emails later - Nothing. I should have checked before buying but discovered that have no street address or phone number.

Buyers Beware... I'm still waiting for 1 item on my order from 02 Mar 2022...after repeated emails from last to the present... he made promises and then Silence.!! I've left it too long for the Paypal refund...outside of 180 days... so, if this business can't supply you with the item you need to make a refund claim within the 180 days and let Paypal handle the refund... I agree, avoid this FineTools AU... I know that I won't be seeing a refund on the item I've been waiting in owe.

Avoid like the plague. Terrible customer service. I have little confidence that they ever intend to supply the goods I ordered in January 2023.
This Australian website seem to have ripped off the name of a reputable German tool company so don't confuse them with the German site.
My experience of their non-existent customer service has been awful.
Finetools.com.au took my money instantly for an order for chisels in late January.
An email from them in mid-February said my order was on its way, with a Aust Post tracking number pending.
No actual tracking number ever appeared.
No delivery was ever made.
They have no phone number on their website, and do not respond to repeated emails to either info@ or orders@ requesting information about the order, and eventually a refund.
Absolutely zero response.
I will never attempt to do business with them ever again.

Second purchase through fine tools.com.au
First one was for an item that was $300.. it took 2 weeks and an email for them to get "posted" and then no shipping number arrived.
Another 2 weeks to arrive which makes me doubt their original claim that they were posted..

Made a second purchase recently because the items were cheap ($50) and out of stock elsewhere and it's again been another 2 weeks and an ignored email.

This lot are failing the most simple of having their business which is providing the goods.
