they repost my reviews without my consent and continue to do so dispite asking them multible times not to; So my lawyer sent them this letter:
Dear Feefo Team,

our response dated [insert date] is entirely inadequate and does not address the substance of my request. Let me be absolutely clear:
1. I withdraw any and all consent you may claim to have to use, publish, transfer, or otherwise process my reviews, whether for or any other brand, now or in the future.
2. Under Article 6(1) GDPR, you require a valid legal basis to process my personal data (including reviews linked to my identity). Consent must be freely given, specific, informed, and unambiguous. I hereby explicitly deny and withdraw any such consent.
3. Under Article 17 GDPR (Right to Erasure / Right to be Forgotten), I require you to ensure that none of my reviews are copied, migrated, or published on the Feefo platform or any affiliated system.
4. Your previous answer suggesting I “submit a review” or contact the company is irrelevant and evasive. My request concerns the prohibition of further processing of my reviews. As the data processor and/or controller of the Feefo platform, you are legally obliged to comply.
5. If I do not receive written confirmation within 14 days that none of my reviews will be published, displayed, or transferred to Feefo, I will escalate this matter by filing formal complaints with:
o The Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens),
o The UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), and
o The European Consumer Centre (ECC-Net).

Furthermore, please note that under Article 82 GDPR, you may be liable for damages (including legal expenses) resulting from unlawful processing of my data.

This letter serves as a final warning and formal notice. I expect a written confirmation from your legal department that my reviews will not be used in any way.

I was asked to review another company that I did business with and I provided an honest review. Feefo edited my review and included one sentence. When I requested that the review be removed as there was no point keeping a one sentence review, they removed the comments and gave the company 5 stars. No business should trust Feefo to get honest reviews for them. Here's a 1 star review that you guys can't edit or twist to your liking! Deceptive and manipulative.

Mon avis a ,soi-disant,été ,en partie publié car certains commentaires n'étaient pas au bon endroit dans le formulaire. En suivant le lien pour voir mon commentaire, on a une page blanche...
En lisant un peu les commentaires, vous pourrez constater qu'il y a peu d'avis négatifs...
Comme je dénonçais certaines choses d'une marque d'électro-ménager, j'en conclus que ça dérangeait et que mon avis n'a pas été publié ( alors que j'avais reçu un lien suite à achat mais plus de 6 mois après...)

Ho chiesto il motivo per cui la mia recensione non era stata approvata e ho cambiato quanto mi era stato detto. Non l'hanno pubblicata nuovamente. Ho chiesto ragione del fatto e mi hanno risposto che si erano rivolti alla ditta, la quale aveva sostenuto che io affremavo il falso........
La mia recensione NON era anonima e posso portare le prove di quanto detto.
I fatti si commentano da soli

Ich wurde nach dem Urlaub in einem Novasol-Ferienhaus mehrfach per Email von Feefo zu einer Bewertung auf diesem angeblich unabhängigen Portal aufgerufen. Jetzt bin ich dem nachgekommen und die haben den Text stumpf gelöscht! Wohl doch nicht so unabhängig von Novasol, wie andere Erfahrungen hier nahelegen.
Meine Novasol-Erfahrung und Bewertung war folgende:
Anreise war an einem Freitag, durch Stau erst spät abends. Was macht man als Erstes? Zimmer aussuchen, Betten beziehen, Koffer auspacken und Schlafen gehen. In einem Zimmer müffelte es extrem vom unterm Bett her, also erstmal Grundreinigung, zudem funktionierte dort das Deckenlicht nicht. Dann ist man eh schon angenervt und wach, also wenigstens noch einmal Duschen und in den Pool: nächstes Ärgernis, der Pool ist eklig versifft, die Wände unter Wasser komplett gelb-braun (auf eigentlich blauen Fliesen). Aber auf einem Schild stand ja „der Poolservice kommt unangemeldet und hat einen Schlüssel“. Schon etwas grenzwertig, man kann nie wissen, wann plötzlich ein Fremder unangemeldet in der Wohnung steht, aber immerhin die Hoffnung die kommen noch und machen den sauber, auf dem Schild stand „diesen Service übernehmen wir für Sie“.
Am Samstagmorgen ging es in die (mal was Positives, schöne, geräumige und gut ausgestattete) Küche zum Frühstück machen. Dort fanden wir einen Zettel vor, wohl vom Hausmeister, der uns dort schriftlich anbot, für 2600 DK (ca. 350€) die Endreinigung durchzuführen, den Betrag sollten wir in bar in einem beiliegendem Umschlag hinterlegen.
Diese Endreinigung, die ganz sicher vor unserer Anreise nicht stattgefunden hat und laut Novasol im Vorfeld zunächst 537€ kosten sollte, hatten wir bereits bei Buchung abgelehnt, um die Endreinigung bei Abreise selbst durchzuführen. Mit einem Mal kostet die 350? Kurios zunächst. Das Wetter war durchgehend schlecht, dafür kann keiner was, aber es gibt ja Wlan - dachten wir. Das ist am Montag direkt ausgefallen, auf Anruf bei Novasol versprach man uns, ein Techniker käme am nächsten Tag. Dazu kam dann am nächsten Tag eine Email, aber kein Techniker. Weiterer Anruf, weitere Zusage „Techniker kommt gleich“ - Fehlanzeige, kam keiner. Am Mittwochnachmittag steht plötzlich ein Novasolmitarbeiter vor der Tür. Der Poolreiniger oder Techniker, endlich, dachten wir. Der gute Mann begab sich für ca. 5 Minuten zum Pool, hielt da 3 oder 4 mal kurz ein Gerät rein. Als er raus kam, war der Pool genauso versifft wie zuvor, ausser das auf den Fliesen aussenherum jetzt weisse Chlorflecken klebten, die er uns allen Ernstes zur Reinigung hinterliess. Immerhin, das Wlan Problem hat er mit tel. Unterstützung gelöst nach „nur“ 3 Tagen Ausfall…. Bevor er dann wieder fuhr, sprach er noch auf seinen Zettel in der Küche an, ob wir das denn jetzt bezahlen würden, die Endreinigung, wirkte ziemlich angespannt als wir das verneinten. Da hatten wir dann schon so eine Vorahnung was noch kommt. Wir hatten mit 7 Personen bei 22 Betten naturgemäß nur wenige Räume genutzt, den tollen Garten wegen des Wetters leider gar nicht, haben dennoch vor Abreise die Reinigungsanweisungen nach der Novasol-Checkliste penibel in 4 Stunden Kleinarbeit abgearbeitet, der Pool selbst ist jedoch nicht unsere Aufgabe. Die Bude selbst haben wir tiptop sauber hinterlassen, anders als vorgefunden. Eine Abnahme unserer Reinigung durch Novasol erfolgte nicht.
Kaum zuhause angekommen erhielten wir auch schon eine Rechnung für Nachreinigung über 537 €.
Eine bodenlose, wenn auch durch das Verhalten des Serviemitarbeiters vorhersehbare Frechheit. Ich unterstelle es war egal wie sauber oder dreckig man das hinterlässt, die Rechnung wäre in jedem Fall gekommen, schon weil man das „350 €-Angebot“ ausgeschlagen hat. Das riecht nach organisiertem Betrug, wir erwägen rechtliche Schritte.

Which is what you get from a lot of companies these days.

I partially filled out a request to leave a review via feefo after a purchase from ebuyer.
Deliberately left it unfinished and didn't submit, with a message saying I refuse to use feefo, but they published a five star review anyway...
they are not legit, they heavily filter out negative reviews and massively skew accurate reviews to the point they mean almost nothing.

Several times being invited to write reviews on items / service / companies. All reviews are screened by feefo. Coincidently only positive reviews get published.

Die Wohnung ist von der Lage sehr gut, aber das war es dann auch schon. Bei der Ankunft nicht geputzt. Überall Haare der Vorgänger, Krümel und sonstiger Dreck. Küche eine Katastrophe, Dunstabzugshaube wurde Monate nicht gereinigt. Fettschicht mm dick. Backofen nicht nutzbar, total verdreckt und alles eingebrannt. Kaffeemaschine bestand nur aus Kalk und Schmutz. Badezimmer richtig mies. Fugen total vergilbt, Armaturen und Wasserdurchlaß der absolute Witz. WC Sitz vergilbt. Schränke mußte man alles auswischen, Staubschicht mm dick. Kompletter Boden der Wohnung dreimal selbst gewischt und jedes Mal Wasser schwarz. Balkon nicht nutzbar, durch Gerüstbau. Couch ebenso versifft. Wohnung hellhörig, bloß keine Kinder mitbringen, dann ist der Ärger direkt vorprogrammiert. Klasse Leistung bei 1500 Euro für 14 Tage. Vermieterin meinte zum Zustand mal solle sich an Novasol halten. Abzockerwohnung die nur zum Profit vermietet wird ohne dem Gast was schönes zu geben.

Feefo amended my review of a product that I purchased and returned for a refund as the parts (made in China) didn't fit and the product was of overall poor quality. The reference to China was removed by Feefo, citing their policy relating to 'swearing or inappropriate language'. I never used, nor would I ever use an expletive so I assume the inappropriate language was the sole reference to the phrase 'made in China'. In light of this I told Feefo that consumers had the right to inform others where products are made and if they won't publish the full review then I withdraw consent for them to publish anything from me.

I keep getting emails and surveys to test products. So far I have completed everyone apart from about three.
The product testing is a scam because I have been talking to quite a few people and no one ever seems to actually test the products.
Plus there is no way to actually have an account with them to make the process easier, for example, if you had an account you could log into your account and you could be told if you are not going to test a product, on the flip side, it will make it a lot easier to actually know if you've been selected.

Feefo emailed me to leave a review for my hoover tumble dryer.
My tumble dryer set on fire. I understandably left a 1 star review and wrote a full review. I received an email saying part of my review hasn't been published I clicked on the link and they have deleted my review and given 5 starts!
I replied to the email asking to remove my review and the email doesn't work!

They delete reviews with minimal oversight

I have put a review of a property I stayed in, but because it was a honest review of a bad experience it has not been published, I presume they're being paid only to publish good reviews

Når man kun har skrevet relevante oplysninger, hvis man skal leje et sommerhus som feks:

1) Rengøring ikke foretaget
2) Huset meget slidt
3) Beskrivelsen svarer ikke til virkelighed - sove sofa vist sig feks at være en topersoners sofa mv
4) Slutfakturering af elforbrug ren fantasi i forhold til ankomst og slutaflæsning (fotodokumentation)
5) Firmaet reagerede ikke på indsigelse med dokumentation

… så virker denne besked fra Feefo jo helt på månen…

Ferienapartment in Rapallo, Via Costaguta 13, Nr. 43 Eigentlich hat uns Feefo direkt für eine Bewertung unseres Aufenthalts angeschrieben, die wir auch abgegeben haben. Diese wurde aber wegen nachfolgender Bewertung mit der Begründung in falscher Spalte geschrieben (lach)nicht veröffentlicht, aber so geht's auch.
Die Wohnung war sehr enttäuschend. Der Kühlschrank war total vereist und Schimmelig, das Geschirr nicht gereinigt und überall noch Essensreste drin, beim Barfuß laufen bekam man schwarze Füße-schmutz und Staub unter dem bett-hier wurde nicht gewischt, geschweige denn geputzt, Schimmel in allen ecken der Dusche, Duscharmaturen verkalkt und immer nachgetropft, Spülen in der Küche nicht möglich-Verschluss defekt, Verschluss Waschbecken im Bad defekt, Klobrille Lose-man rutschte nur hin und her, Waschmaschine kaputt, Internet ging erst nach 4 Tagen als man endlich mal das Guthaben erneuert hat. Auf Anruf wurden nur Ratschläge gegeben aber keine Abhilfe geschafft. Überall standen leere Kartons und zum Teil Werkzeug rum. Der Zustand und die Sauberkeit des Apartments sind absolut unterirdisch-geht gar nicht. Alles kann mit Fotos nachgewiesen werden und
Normaler weise müsste man hier mindestens den halben Mietpreis zurück bekommen. Und von wegen 300 m vom Meer entfernt >>einmal durch die halbe Stadt, laut Navi 800 Meter.
Nochmal bei Novasol buchen? Niemals!!!! Das war schon sehr enttäuschend und wahrscheinlich haben wir sogar noch untertrieben. Aber Hauptsache 85,- Euro für Reinig verlangen!!!!

They 'moderated' my review of a company that I gave 2-3 stars to with some explanation for the reasons why.

Instead, they changed it to 5 stars, completely deleting all words. That's not moderation. That is complete falsification, and put my name against a review that I do not endorse.

Shameful.

This feeds is a joke left a verified review and it was half put up if you tell the truth about your Holliday experience it doesn’t put it up and puts 5stars you have anything negative it don’t put it up joke

What is the point of having a review site that caters primarily for the needs of the companies providing goods and services? There will be a natural bias. To give an example the company I was searching was not found upon searching Freefo. That will be because the company is so badly reviewed on other sites that they presumably don’t want to invite bad reviews on Freefo. I want to leave a review but can’t. What a pointless site!
