Shoddy quality
We bought 6 chairs 2 years ago, for nearly £1,000. The material on 2 of the chairs is now falling apart, so they're clearly not of the same quality as the other 4. Fabb very unhelpful, say they're out of warranty and won't even come out to look at them. They weren't cheap, and they're clearly a different batch than the others. So much competition in Peterborough with furniture stores, it's such a shame for a small cost they could have had repeat business. But not now.
Terrible quality, awful customer service
Terrible quality! Awful customer service! Stay away from them. I think they have been taken over by Nick Scalli, but its all the same at the end of the day!
We bought an electric recliner 3 seater sofa, 2 years later one side dipped and the recliner was struggling to move in and out. They sent an “independent” engineer out who barely spoke English (i am also not English), confirmed the mechanic was twisted and got me to sign his checks. Later on i found out he reported that the sofa was too close to the wall (the sofa never touched the wall since purchase), and this has caused the issue, so not manufacturer issue.
Raised a complaint, took it to the Furniture Ombudsmann, still couldnt get at least partial refund from them.

We bought a sofa from the Wednesbury store and we were over the moon with the service. 5*
Unfortunately, 2 years later we realised we were mis-sold the warranty!!
Mattress purchase
We purchased a mattress from the Cheltenham store which we were told was good quality after 9 months the mattress had dips in both sides where the foam had failed. They sent out an inspector said it was a fault on the product and they replaced it. 6 month later the same has happened again they have sent some one out and apparently it is now not a defect and apparently it is acceptable wear for a 6month old mattress. In general the product its self is very poorly and now we have to buy a new mattress and bin a 6month old mattress
Spent 4k on 2 leather sofas from Fabb furniture. Absolutely terrible quality.
Spent 4k on 2 leather sofas. Within 14months seat cushions have collapsed and and fall to 1 corner. Obviously very cheap filling. Fabb told me can’t do anything despite being 14 months old as filling not in warranty after 12 months.
Customer service was terrible. Couldn’t care less. Keen to charge me £72 to send THEIR engineer but still wouldn’t be liable for cheap filling so what’s the point.
Will never use again and strongly suggest others don’t too.

Chris stirrup salesman for fab furniture who lives in leek Staffordshire is a con man who missells furniture to customers he is a lyer and missold us our £4000 sofa and chair do not trust him or dabb furniture
Be aware. Poor Quality Furniture.
A brief summary of my experience with this retailer:-
Leather sofa furniture purchased from Fabb/Nick Scali June 24. Less than 12 months later noticed the seat cushions were starting to sag and just have deteriorated from there and now back cushions as well. I am the only resident/user and weigh approximately 80 kilograms so would not expect this and have owned leather furniture previously with foam cushions which lasted much longer.
I contacted Fabb January this year and issued a claim but they rejected immediately as outside 12 months warranty period. Than took up Section 75 with Novuna Finance who were very efficient and helpful and they persuaded Fabb to arrange independent report with Castelan, at their cost, even though Section 75 best pursued within 6 months
The independent inspector completed visit and dismissed claim as no manufacturer fault just “normal usage over time” Unbelievable.
Novuna suggested I could try another independent inspection, at my cost, but have decided I am not going to achieve anything further.
I believe Fabb sell furniture with poor quality foam filling which does not retain shape as better quality material would do well beyond 12 months of light usage. Other reviewers have reported the same problems.
I wished I read Trustpilot first.
It’s not worth buying from them assuming they survive much longer !

I purchased sofa 2 years agao very bad experience,, my sofa calour going fade, contact customer service but no help at all. Never buy anything from FABB.
Avoid – long delays, poor communication, and no accountability
My experience with Fabb Furniture / Nick Scali has been extremely disappointing from start to finish.
After placing my order, I was left waiting around five months for delivery, despite being given much shorter timescales at the point of sale. During this period, communication was poor, vague, and often non-existent. I was repeatedly not given a delivery date at all, only generic assurances.
The sofa was only delivered after I explicitly threatened to escalate the matter under consumer protection law, at which point things suddenly moved. Until then, nothing.
To make matters worse, after delivery the recliner mechanism failed within the first year of normal household use. Despite this, the company refused to take responsibility and relied on a report from a technician they instructed themselves to deny the claim. The entire process felt designed to deflect liability rather than resolve a genuine issue.
Between:
• misleading delivery times,
• months of delay,
• lack of transparency,
• and zero goodwill when a fault occurred,
I cannot recommend this company. The products may look good in the showroom, but once they have your money, the customer experience is extremely poor.
I wish I had gone elsewhere.

Bought a 2 seater and 2 recliners the quality after 4 months usage was such a let down when contacting them they sent someone out to assess the furniture and they came back with not their problem and no further contact after I contacted them .furniture not fit for purpose and customer services none existant
Faulty products
Faulty products! Bought a dining set and within 1 month table top color started to fade. Complained about it and was told that it was due to individual sweats leaning on the table which had caused the fading. When we went to the store in Fabb Croydon we were told that they are on different management.UNACCEPTABLE!!!!

Has anyone had to pay delivery charge before the item has arrived to depot I paid on 6/1/26 sent me invoice no delivery date sent several emails no response....so I phoned delivery peep today and my sofa not even in depot not coming to 14/1/26 I was told coming between 6/12 Jan

After 2 years the reclining mechanism stopped working.
Despite a lifetime guarantee the wanted £70 call out.
Deep in the small print it says there could be a £50 call out but they do not make that clear when purchasing.
I addition, the customer service were of no use... totally disinterested and stated they can only send a technician if we pay the money and register through the post!

Rubbish Quality
We are now scraping our Corner sofa bought 3/4 years ago. This had two recliners that the mechanism has failed on both and have now failed again, We are told by FAB that its no longer repairable as the mechanisms are End of life, Absolute waste of £3,5K, Customer service is a joke, a company run by clowns! DO BETTER
Save your self by buying from this…
Save your self by buying from this company. As our sofa has got the warranty for stain guard its doesnt help as stains do stay and company wont help. Its broken from clips as well the frame is creaking. I called the company been told that call out charges even if the sofa is warrantied for frame for 10 years. Horrendous we are left with this faulty sofa now. Which we paid heavy price and not useful. Stay away buy from other retailers but not this company.
The furniture is overpriced and as far as I am concerned has been totally mid-sold. Will never use this company again and would definitely not recommend them. You would be better off buying from an internet company b
Bought 2 chesterfield sofas and pouffe which was delivered in October 24. Took out the insurance and also paid to have the sofas stain protected. There is only myself and my husband so furniture is well cared for. Paid £3250 for the suite which we were told was half price. We were also told it had a lifetime guarantee. Although the delivery was delayed we understood as the furniture was supposedly coming from Italy. The protective feet came away from the sofa and when we contacted the Canterbury store they sent an email straight away to their head office. I didn’t hear from them for 2 weeks so called the store again. They wanted pictures of the furniture in situ and a close up and distant photo of the bottom of the sofas which is not easy as they are extremely heavy. My husband spoke to head office and their response is send us £72 and we will send someone out and if they think it is down to the manufacturers they will repair the feet and refund the money.
Poor quality furniture and service
Poor quality, sofa and no response from seller. Use small claims court - they will have to pay your costs as well as their own.
Awful quality for an expensive leather sofa.
I brought a beige leather sofa and arm chair from Fabb furniture. After 15months where my husband rests his head the leather has turned black. I phone Fabb furniture and they wanted to charge me £72 for a call out charge to tell me if the fault was a manufacturing fault or due to oils from the hair. 😠 Firstly I'm not paying anything for them to confirm what ever or those fault it is, not after only 15 mnths of owning it, plus I've had leather sofas before and never had this problem. I think the customer service is shockingly awful and extremely unhelpful. Now I will never be able to sell it due to this fault and I've had to purchase a cover. I WILL NEVER BUY FROM THIS COMPANY AGAIN. If finance's allowed this sofa be going straight in the bin.
No after sale
No after sale. Once you pay for order they dont bother if furniture os delivered or not. Neither there responsibility if it will fit or not to your house. They will not explain if it will come as you seen in showroom or in pieces. So if you ordering its your responsibility to assume that. However they will charge you for delivery and assembling of furniture. God knows what is assembly means for them. I used credit card so initiated charged back from this coward. Manager cares only sales. Dont buy from this company.

Polite staff. Not pushy. answered questions fully.
They assembled the table and chairs for us and took all the packaging away with them.
