I was not a fan of the new platform…
I was not a fan of the new platform at all. The auto-start videos every time you clicked back to the dashboard or main stage were annoying. I found the tech tables tab to be confusing. I had no audio or video and it was not immediately obvious you had to drag your icon into a circle. That wasted considerable time. I also didn't care for how the chat features were separated.
I've noticed that instead of 48 hrs of content, it seems to have been reduced to a little over 24 hours and due to time zones, over half of the sessions are in the middle of the night or early morning for me. This reduced time frame has limited the amount of networking I am able to do compared to previous years.
The few sessions I was able to attend live during work hours did not have very engaging speakers. The content is there, but I'm not a fan of monotone, dry presentations or those that read off of slides entirely.
I'm still a great supporter of ES conferences, but felt the need to be honest that this one was incredibly disappointing.

We apologize for the glitches with the Tech Tables feature; you're right, the functionality didn’t work as intended, and we are already looking into how to improve this for future events.
Regarding the platform, we acknowledge that certain aspects like the auto-start videos and chat setup could have been more intuitive. Your feedback will help us refine these features to create a smoother experience next time.
As for the reduced content duration, we made the switch from 48 to 24 hours this year, based on delegate feedback, which suggested that a more condensed schedule would be better - but we also cut the price to attend in half to reflect this.
The conference is structured to run over 24 hours to accommodate assistants worldwide, allowing them to attend live sessions regardless of time zone. Additionally, we provide 30 days of access to replays so you can catch up on any sessions you missed. We apologise if the sessions you attended weren't as engaging as you might have liked. We strive to deliver a wide variety of subject matter and highly engaging content. It's an occupational hazard, with a conference about Tech, particularly in some of the more advanced sessions that they can be a little dry in places.
Thanks again for your honest input—we are dedicated to making each event better and your feedback plays a huge role in that!
The timing for EST Zone did not…
The timing for EST Zone did not populated to allow me to view the event live as I desired. Timing was confusing and frustrating that made for a poor experience.

We issued the schedule in GMT, but the joining instructions and the PDF clearly stated that once you logged into the event platform, the event timings would automatically adjust to display in your local timezone. We understand how frustrating this must have been, and we will look at ways to make this process more intuitive for future events. Please remember that you have 30 days of access to watch any sessions you may have missed or would like to revisit. We appreciate your input and will use it to improve the experience moving forward.

It was difficult to see some of the sessions as there seemed to be technical difficulties. It is also quite exceptional to have so many sessions mentioning personal image and brand, only to have the host not have a full set of teeth.

ES Tech 2024 was Everything
ES Tech 2024 was everything! It was professional, engaging, fun, and educational from beginning to end. It can be challenging delivering a world class experience both virtually and in-person. But, Lucy Brazier and her dynamic team did a stellar job in providing space to learn, network, and build relations. I am grateful and honored to have been able to participate.

ES Global 2024
The ES Global 2024 conference was incredibly well organised and ran like clockwork.
I was super impressed by the sheer number of amazingly talented speakers who brought a wealth of experience to their presentations, and were very happy to share hints & tips to help all Assistants to become the best they can be.
The RingCentral platform that the presentations were shared on was very interactive with the stage, chat, Q&A, networking and bookings areas all very easy to use & move between.
Looking forward to re-watching the presentations to pick up even more hint & tips to take back to our internal PA Network members.
