Evolve Skateboards Arvostelua 14

After sending the skateboard to their office and covering the shipping costs from London to Northampton and back, as well as paying for their assessment, I ended up spending over £100 and loosing my skateboard. Despite their claims that they shipped the skateboard back, it never arrived. It has now been over five months, and they continue to tell me that they have no feedback from the courier company, which is simply ridiculous. How do they even manage to do business with this courier company if they can’t get any updates or feedback?

Does anyone knows how I can get a refund for what was lost during this operation with Evolve?

Terrible customer service, nobody will talk on the phone and they don't actually insure their products

I am very satisfied with my Evolve Stoke. The 10 mile range advertised is absolutely correct, in certain circumstances I have been able to go over 15+ miles on a full charge. The remote is pretty solid, I haven’t had any issues with the remote thus far. They provided all the necessary accessories needed to maintain your board. The only thing i’m not very fond about is the app. The app is difficult to maneuver, and doesn’t really provide a purpose worth using. I also wish there was a odometer for my board, if it can record each trip, I wish it could record total mileage. Overall, I love my board and the remote, I don’t like the app at all. Definitely will continue to buy with Evolve, just please make your app more functional and give us a real reason to use it!

All I can say about the Evolve Carbon GTR is that it has quite literally changed my life. I've been pretty upside down and inside out for the longest, I'd say since 2014. Was like my world stopped spinning that year and I lost my smile. Saw Evolve boards and Esk8 randomly on YouTube just showed up as a recommend watch or something and caught myself finally feeling excited about something. Never saw an electric board let alone rode one but what can I say, the whole thing moved me( pun intended) but then I saw the price tag. I remember how that excitement I was feeling again finally began to deminish. Was way to much than I had. Decided to try and get it financed through that app on the site and behold, it said approved. Couldn't believ it. Was at my door the morning of the second day and I dove right in the deep end with it. Learned to ride it that day and once I started doing the carving back and forth, took me right back to my days as a kid surfing the point. Couldn't believe how familiar everything felt. It's not a lie to say that this board has giving me another shot at life and I feel so much better when I'm on it. This whole review went alot longer than I expected to write but if anybody manages to read it through and is on the fence of getting one or even just an Esk8 in general. Just push the button and do it. No regrets

I really like my skateboard everything was just like I imagined with just a couple of things that occurred only occurred only 3 weeks after purchase. One of those things is that around the symbol in the center of the board the grip tape came off. It's a little disappointing considering it's only 3 weeks old. If everything else was great other than the grip tape. The 2nd thing was I ordered LED strips and one of those strips turned out to be defective which was a bummer. It would be nice to get that strip replaced other than that I have no issues with the board and I absolutely love it.

Best electric skateboard I've ever ridden! Being a surfer and snowboarder, I've searched for an electric board that combines these two passions of mine. Finally found it with my Evolve Bamboo GT! I'm hooked!!!!! The more I ride and get comfortable on it the more I love it!!! I ride almost every day. I'm so happy I purchased this. A friend of mine at work recommended this and I'm glad I listened.

Got my board in under two weeks. Evolve GTR Bamboo. Love it. Looks and rides great. I’m sure it’s one of the best on the market right now. Range is awesome too. Get 25+ miles per charge. Reason for the 4 and not 5 stars, plastic cover on the remote screen fell off randomly.

Absolutely love my new bamboo GTR! Was expecting to mostly ride on the street, but as soon as I took it on a trail with the 7'' AT wheels I was hooked. That said, there are some places I appreciate improvements.

1. The charge port rubber thingy is a little wonky, would be better with a hard clip that locks closed while your riding.
2. The app should display the board battery, and expected charge duration while it's plugged in. Would also be nice to see discharge rate (% battery use during the current ride).
3. I bought some after market heat sinks for the motors after riding on a hot day and having it start to over heat. These should be standard.
4. The remote is $150 is you break it! For the $1500+ I spent on the board, the rubber protector for the remote should come standard.

I'm amazed at how much this can do off road, trails. It's so much fun, I love it.

Great skateboard but I paid over 2k for this thing and the remote broke the 2nd week. What the heck man?

Wife bought a Bamboo GTR with Abec107s for my birthday and I'm very impressed! Well packaged and protected. User manual and instructions are simple to get you started. Once charged up and ready to go, safe mode allows you to get the feel of the board without much worry. Once you venture into other modes you can still count on smooth and predictable performance. Definitely beneficial for new riders or old timers like myself.

I'm a bigger guy (6'2" 240#s) and was a little worried about torque and range, but both are better than expected. Been commuting with it for 2 weeks on a rolling 10 mile round trip (plus lunch time parking lot antics with coworkers) and end each day with better than 60% battery. I typically stay in GTR or Pro Mode.

Highly recommended!
