A total scam. Paid 2000 euro, never received anything

As so many others I was scammed by this company. Went and bought an Eve V i7 during a sale, got sent a sleeve and nothing else. Upon requesting they send me my order, I was told “your order will be send shortly”. Alas shortly has now been quite a while longer.

Beware. They do not deliver.
I bought a Eve V from there running campaign for 900$.
They send me a ea-magsleve to 30$ and closed my order and the 900$ is payed.I tried to reach out to there intentional store, and got an answer where they promised to correct it. But i doubt anything happens. All negative comments in there community and on their own review page is deleted. After that by i saw 3 other reviews with the exact same problem.

I ordered an Eve V as part of their Indiegogo campaign. Although I received it - very late - it had some defects. I returned it, and after months of chasing, they finally gave me a refund. I am one of the lucky ones though. There are many others who have not received a device or refund. Also, I would not trust that they have a different "distributor". That is just an excuse they are using to justify their poor historical performance.

I ordered my Eve V online, in a flash sale. Everything proceeded normally, and my device arrived in good condition and well packaged in a few weeks.
The Eve V is a nice device, for the price. I got a i5 device, with a very nice display, 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD, a nice keyboard, for less than 1000 euro. The keyboard is not as good as the Surface's keyboard, but the whole is much cheaper.
However, the keyboard still is the week point of this type of design - I had a Surface Pro 3, and it's keyboard broke after two years.
The real big issue, though, is the support or lack thereof, as the company does not honor the warranty and doesn't address issues (firmware, drivers, hardware).
The whole idea of 'made by us' is totally fake.
Their community is just a marketing stunt, as any criticism is banned (as most of my posts there have).
If you real need a cheap medium-to-high level device similar to the Surface Pro, you could consider buying a used SP on eBay, you may get better consumer protection after all.
If you can live with the risk, and want a nice device for a low price, do your research online before buying an Eve V.

Ordered December 20th 2017. Never received the device, requested a refund which I still haven't received. Its been 2 years since the initial order. Avoid!

Terrible customer service and won't honor their warranty. Preodered the Eve V during their indiegogo campaign that promised a 2 year warranty. Tried to file a warranty claim and they referred me to the "distributor" that they worked with but no longer do but they wouldn't provide contact details to their "distributor". Thank goodness I was able to file with my credit card for a charge back and got my money back.

I ordered a device in February 2018 and haven't received it yet. Although I contacted support, I always got the same answers. In the official forum a single person was always given the impression that everything was okay and the delivery was delayed. But nothing happened until today. Meanwhile critical posts are deleted under the pretext that they are irrelevant. All old posts were deleted, too.

As an excuse it was claimed that there were issues with the old distributor. In the meantime, they have tried to gain trust with a form for the damaged, but there is still no feedback.

But the company does not seem to have learned from the old problems, or it is pure intention. The new distributor is back in Hong Kong. In case of doubt, the money disappears again at a company in the Far East.

The behaviour of the company is highly doubtful. Tens of people have been held up with excuses (just read the old news and announcements in the official community forum), the salesman is sitting far away and injured parties are not informed about anything. I cannot advise anyone to trust them.

Company is a fraud. Never received my device or a refund.

Ordered Dec 4th, 2017. No device after more than a year. Asked for a refund. Still no refund 2 years after initial purchase.

Ordered Dec 4th 2017, paid 1700€ in full for the device with accessories. To date neither computer nor refund have arrived. Happy second anniversary. Not.

As a consumer myself, I would never recommend Eve to anyone at all after what the company has done to me. I ordered for an Eve-V backing in December 2017. The company had trouble with their funds and so on back then so I patiently waited for them to resolve their problems which was very naive. My ordered Eve-V never came and the company offered the option of refunding in full amount but in DECEMBER 2019 (2 years later) they are still stalling and making excuses in regards to the refund process. They are also refusing to communicate with the affected customers and instead of taking ownership, they blame it on their former partner. This company cannot be trusted. They do not treat all of their customers equally. DO NOT SUPPORT THEIR BUSINESS or you might become a victim like me.

ordered for a V in the month of December 2017. still waiting for a refund. Do not give a dollar to these guys.

Paid over a grand for a tablet that I never got. Took a year and several legal threats from my lawyer to finally get a refund. Never do business with this company!

Not trustworthy. They will take your money and you will never see anything in return.

Unlike many of the reviewers here, I didn't order my Eve V from Eve-Tech or back their Crowd Funding campaign. Rather, I bought my V from Eve Devices through one of their recent sales at a hefty discount. My order processed in a timely manner and was delivered in flawless shape. Everything works perfectly as expected. Throughout the process, I found their customer service to be excellent. Any emails I sent were answered promptly and they were very helpful. I don't know what's changed there, but clearly something has, and it's for the better.

I spent ~$2200 on a fully loaded Eve V and accessories in January, 2018. I, like many others, never received my device or a refund. My comment asking for an update on their forum was removed in less than a minute. This company continually makes promises it cannot deliver. They constantly change their story, make excuses, and string people along. They are doing everything they can to distance themselves from their flash sale failures. One of the stupider mistakes I've made in my adult life. If they made things right today, I would still not recommend them. Buyer beware!

Ordered an paid an Eve-V in September 2018. Now is November 2019, neither the product nor a refund. They delete all critical posts from their forums. Don't loose your money by buying at them.

Almost 2 years waiting for my device, never get a refund or my order.
