Now essentially a scam

The Eve V was a great little device. Well conceived, competently manufactured (in my experience) and actually a really nice machine to use. The keyboard wasn't brilliant, but it did the job. Likewise the pen was not great, but I had a Microsoft Surface pen to replace it with.

Up until late 2019, this was one of the nicest machines I'd used overall. At that point my power button malfunctioned, and some weeks later when the machine turned off it became a paperweight. Despite very, very slow responses I (eventually) managed to get all the details to send it back for warranty repair. However, the device has been with Eve Devices since late January 2020, and they are now 100% unresponsive.

Don't give these people your money. They don't deserve it, and you deserve better than the service they will provide you.

Stay away from this.

Stay away from this. Seriously. I wasted my money.

Got banned from their forum and their Facebook group for telling the thruth. Most of the reviews are fake.

I got my Eve V in time, everything seemed ok, even if it felt immediately overpriced. Until I found out that the keyboard was bad (in particular, the treackpad was going crazy) and the power brick did not work at all. I got a replacement for the power brich, but without the proper EU adapter (the old one was slightly different, so I could not fit it!!), so could not use it, the keyboard I never got replaced-refunder.

Then suddenly the machine died, black-screen, no signs of life. And the support diet with it, nothing, no answers, they kept ignorning me all the way. If I had more money to waste, they should be properly sued.

Please think twice before jumping into these kind of projects, check very carefully (most of the time it is impossible).
