Avoid at all costs! One of the cheapest chargers on the market for a reason. I've had components replaced because it wasnt picking up WiFi signal,error messages from leakage fault to self test fault. Online & the app is useless & dont get anywhere with customer service. Broken more than it works

We have had many chargers over the last few years, the sales guy Harry was brilliant. DPD for some unknown reason held the unit and it was delayed 2 days. The accounts department also invoiced us considerably more than other units purchased around 16% more. This was discussed with the customer services and thought it was sorted out, however we are now being chased for the supposed short payment. The service has seriously reduced and we will probably avoid dealing directly with EVEC if at all possible as the information and prices previously given dont seem to stand any longer.

Great EV charger with exceptional quality and back up

The engineer said it was easy to install. Simple to use. I needed some information, so rang the help line, really great service.

This is my 3rd EVEC charger, not fitted yet but the other two work fine.

EVEC were great to deal with, helpful on the phone and the appointed local installer (Kai) was also fantastic. All around quick and friendly service. Highly recommended.

Well I had my Evec charger installed by a company called Electropoint Ltd who are based in the central belt o Scotland,I live in Aberdeen but my location wasn't a logistical problem,a date and time was agreed and the Engineer arrived spot on 9am to start the installation after a brief discussion with myself regarding a cable route he began,by 1030 the Evec charger was installed and commissioned and how it worked was clearly explained, after a little getting used to how the schedule facility works ,l would recommend it to anyone the customer support services are a great help and are keen to resolve your problems if any,it's a bog standard 7.4kw charger and I compatible with Ovo Energy,as long as you have the correct firmware, which Evec are very helpful to advise you on regarding any upgrades required,what more can I say buy an EVEC

VecFlex is a pure disaster.
Customer support is absolutely useless pasting same generic response as an answer to a simple question.
Is someone from management reading this?
Will they copy and paste same generic response here?

Charger a great size not too big or small, simple to install app, on manual mode just plug and go with the app.
Nice blue light in standby and bright green to let you know when it's charging.
Very reasonable price, good straightforward instructions .

Would rate as no stars if able. I purchased a charger with installation and completed all forms. Then heard nothing about installation despite chasing on multiple occasions. I now want to return the uninstalled charger as I have completely lost faith in Evec and they are ignoring these emails. My vehicle is now arriving, evec have taken my money, not fulfilled the job. I haven’t got a working charger and can’t go ahead and get an alternative until Evec resolve.

I wanted to write this review following a recent issue with my evec charger. I recently purchased a full electric vehicle and after hearing high recommendations and great reviews regarding Evec chargers I had one installed. I am not the best with technology as I am 63 years old 🤣 but with the support communication and patience from Harry and Ashley it was quickly resolved. I can’t thank them both enough. They are an absolute credit to the company.

The evec charger is good for a medium budget charger. Install was easy and so is the app. Other peoples complaints with the app I haven't had yet. Easy to navigate app and set scheduled charging. Its plain yet simple giving you all the info you need. If you are planning on a octopus charging tariff they are yet to accept evec chargers, so if this is the case, then currently this charger is not for you. Evec also passes your information onto a company who will pay you to allow them to see your usage. This amounts to £140 a year if you except.

The EVEC chargers come with many software issues. I bought a dual charger unit that started giving problems by resetting it's charging amperage by itself. After that it stopped allowing two vehicles to charge in parallel. Evec tried to solve latter issue by a software update the charger could not complete. A new one was sent but the latest model comes with other software issues. It starts a charge on connecting the vehicle rather than on the demanded schedule. Rebooting the devices solves the issue temporarily. I am now in a dispute with EVEVC as they try to claim the charges still works while the correct scheduling functionality is vital to charge the vehicle when the electricity price is low. Not a very professional company and the product does not deliver as per its specs

I needed a no frills charger as I am 85yo with no smart phone apps etc - I emailed and received a lovely, informative and quick reply that answered all my concerns.
Installation was easy, charger simple to use and although it can be used with an app it also works perfectly without one.

Easy to access the website. Ordered with in no time and the product arrived the second day. Got installation appointment 1 week later and reschedule to an earlier date very conveniently by the customer service team. Sam, the engineer was on time and accordingly with our convenience fitted the charger and briefed through the steps including installing the apk. Appreciate his efforts and very easy to mange the apk and charger. 100% satisfied.

Purchased an EVEC 22kW commercial charger in May 2025 through MB Electrical EV Ltd. It failed in February 2026, less than a year after installation.
We reported the fault immediately and provided everything requested: photos, serial numbers, app data, proof of purchase, site address. EVEC’s only response each time has been to ask for more information, then say “it’s with the technical manager.” No site visit has ever been arranged. Phone lines go unanswered despite their website advertising 24/7 support.
MB Electrical told us they can’t help without EVEC’s involvement. So neither party has taken responsibility.
This is a commercial unit. We are losing £40-50 every day on external charging costs. A formal legal notice has now been issued. If you are considering EVEC for a commercial installation, I would strongly recommend verifying their after-sales support before committing.
