Enterprise Rent-A-Car Norway Arvostelua 13

Our reservation was for a combustion engine car, not an electric one, which turned out to be the case. The person who checked us in said it was that or nothing. They handed us the keys, showed us where it was parked, and when we got to the car, there was absolutely no one there to explain how these types of vehicles work, how to charge them, or anything at all. Luckily, a Hertz employee gave us a brief explanation of how they work and how to charge them.

It's the first time I'm going to drive a vehicle like this, and I think it's their responsibility to explain how it works.
On the other hand, we've lost hours of our trip charging the car, going to gas stations that don't offer electric charging, gas stations that only accept charging through an app we don't have and don't want, gas stations whose instructions are only in Norwegian, and problems upon problems.

When returning the car, it was more of the same. There was no one in the parking lot to check that the car was in perfect condition and with the same load as when we picked it up. The person inside the airport didn't care; they just told us to hand over the keys and that was that.

Therefore, I request financial compensation for all the damages caused and for the time we lost with this rental.
I also want to say that I will never book a car with you again, and I advise everyone I know against doing so.

I'm extremely satisfied – the staff member was very friendly and competent. I was offered a choice of two cars. The car was excellent.

Enterprise Rent a Car in Tromso is a complete scam. They charged me the full deposit i.e.NOK 22,000 for a couple of tiny scratches that were hardly noticeable—and likely pre-existing. Their staff is unprofessional, unhelpful, and completely unreliable. Communication after the rental was impossible, and they refused to provide clear documentation for the extra charges. I strongly recommend avoiding this rental company if you value honesty and fair service.

They deserve zero stars. After charging me 10 times the original rate. Falsely accuse me of a scrape, did not provide any documentation. Stay away they are absolute crooks.
I average 30 car rentals a year for the last decade and never had such dishonest illegal practices.

Booked a 14-day rental with Enterprise months in advance, covering the period when winter tyres are legally required (from 16/10/2025). Despite this, we were handed a car with summer tyres, which is unsafe and unlawful. When we asked for a compliant vehicle, the agent said none were available and claimed that the weather forecast looked fine.

But in Norway, conditions can change by the minute — we already had snow on October 16. Remember, it’s the driver’s legal responsibility to ensure tyres are appropriate for road conditions. If something goes wrong, you’ll be held accountable, not Enterprise.

Their dismissive attitude toward safety is unacceptable. Be cautious and choose a more reliable car rental company.

Strange amount of damage reported....AFTER returning it. OF COURSE no one was in office when we returned and was on a flight back to us before they even claim to have seen the car. Charged 15000 NOK for a scuff mark on right side of a rear bumper that I argue was THERE like the rest of the things I had pics of. Did not have a usable for the rear bumper so of course they ran with it. They were argumentative, tried to say it was normal for previous damage to show on the report of my current supposed damage etc. Then altered the report "slightly" to remove what I had pics of being present prior to our use...STILL charged me the full 15000 NOK. SCUMMY attitude and a complete joke customer service and NON SENSE FEES and OVERCHARGED work estimates. BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE GO ANYWHERE BUT HERE

This is the worst car rent I ever have experienced. They have charge me the whole deposit and 5000 kr on
top.
Never use Them. They are shameless.

When i deliveried the car on a Thursday / agreed day and to people in the desk everything was ok. However i got a email the day after asking: where is the car?

I found the service good and the people very polite, but l feel that the speed of collection could be faster if you are a regular customer.
