Reservation made over the phone. Enterprise agent Id'ed me as a frequent renter which authorized a 40% discount AND an upgraded car. The shop Manager here in Key West on N. Roosevelt Blvd, Luis Mogrovejo, super-efficient and courteous. Car very clean and ready to go when I was. Thanks Luis. Thanks Enterprise.

I rented and paid online a Van in the enterprise office in Galway. When I was there they complained my card was not a credit card but only a debit card so they rejected my reservation saying that the money were going to back on my bank in 10 days. Today is two weeks and I am still waiting to be refunded. This company is a disgrace

Please stay clear of Enterprise, Alamo & Nation car rental. The desk clerk at Logan Airport in Boston completely took advantage of my wife and very sick daughter. After letting the clerk know how important it was to get our daughter back to Long Island he charged us 4 times the daily rate to book a car for 12 hours. Shame on them, find any other rent a car company.

Never rent a car for a trip to Italy through Enterprise! What a nightmare! I rented online with Enterprise. They subcontract out the rental to local Locoauto without my knowledge and then they completely drop all responsibilities . You can not get any assistance from anyone in the US. The Italians made their own rules and were unable to provide assistance when needed. I paid out of pocket to get a tire changed after hours of waiting for help. then they tried to make me pay a second deposit when I asked for a new car after the tire issue- scam. don't do it! Rented out of Catania sicily but I would not trust them anywhere!

Enterprise Rent-A-Car's partner in South Africa is Woodford Car Hire. I have never dealt with a more unethical, corrupt and thieving organisation in all my time.

The car was unroadworthy, the staff were rude, and they stole my entire deposit. Used my deposit to fill up a different car. They charged me to fill up a car with a 55-litre tank, when the car I hired only had a 45-litre tank. They charged me for an extra day without allowing me to keep the car for an extra day, so they stole that money from me. Absolutely disgusting organisation.

J'avais réservé un utilitaire 20m3 un mois en avance pour mon déménagement.
Trouvant que la procédure de réservation en ligne était légère, j'ai contacté le standard, qui m'a confirmé ma réservation. Comme je voulais de la certitude, je suis allé à l'agence de Nîmes à 1h de chez moi, j'ai donné tous les papiers demandés, et ai même proposé de verser un accompte, en expliquant bien que j'avais impérativement besoin de certitude sur la location du véhicule à ces dates-là. L'interlocuteur de l'agence m'a bien mis en confiance en m'assurant que j'avais bien une réservation et que le véhicule serait disponible.
La veille du jour réservé, il m'appelle a midi pour me dire que finalement ils n'ont pas de véhicule pour moi le lendemain matin à 9h. Un jeudi de l’ascension, je venais de faire 600 km pour le déménagement. Il ne nous ont proposé aucune solution de rechange ou d'arrangements. C'est au delà du manque de professionnalisme, c'est inadmissible

Van not available at the time we booked it as it wasn't return. Nobody felt like ringing us to let us know. Refund after 1 week. Useless staff made of kids. Avoid at all cost.

Enterprise sucks!!! They lie to you and try to take money out when it's not necessary! I put a good review for Mike! And come to find out there's no Mike! What's going on! Someone reach out or I'm going to have further actions

J’ai loué via booking.com une 5008 de 7 places chez Enterprise rent a car situé 10 rue JB Pigalle à Paris, pour les 13 et 14 juillet, départ 9h et retour hors horaires d’ouverture 22h30. Arrivés sur place le 13, le loueur nous demande « voulez-vous vraiment une 7 places? », puis directement, nous propose une Renault de 9 places au « même prix ». C’est très haut, 2 mètres 10 et évidemment, aucun d’entre nous ne peut voir le dessus du toit. Nous faisons le tour pour inspecter sans aller voir le toit et le loueur se garde bien de nous en parler, il nous met en confiance, puis nous vend une assurance « zéro franchise, si besoin » pour 60€ et nous acceptons. Nous roulons en extérieur tout le temps et tout se passe pour le mieux. Vers 22h le 14 juillet, mon mari gare la voiture comme prévu dans leur parking rue Pigalle et dépose les clés dans la boîte et prend des photos du véhicule en parfait état. Évidemment il ne monte pas sur le toit prendre des photos.
Le lendemain matin, je reçois par e-mail une ouverture de dossier accident et crois d’abord à une erreur. Ensuite, ils m’envoient un gros plan d’un dommage que je ne vois pas sur le toit, donc pour le retour ils ont pris le temps d’aller voir le toit, alors que le 13 juillet manifestement, non! J’ai évidemment formellement contesté car si dommage il y a, il était forcément préexistant et il est strictement impossible que ce soit nous.Or aujourd’hui, ils débitent ma carte bancaire de 1000€. Je conteste absolument formellement et dénonce ces pratiques commerciales manifestement frauduleuses. Je les ai signalés mais surtout NE LOUEZ PAS CHEZ EUX! Ils profitent de la naïveté des clients pour les facturer. Ah et petit détail… en réalité, l’assurance vendue ne couvre pas le toit, ce qui est la cerise sur le gâteau! À FUIR

We received a $300 credit from Enterprise in Orlando. We tried to use it in Muscle Shoals, Al, we couldn't use it. Dealed with Enterprise online, on phone , etc. No one could understand English, so they messed up all info including my email address. Worked on this for a month, no results DO NOT USE this company , Darryl Ford

Et la cerise sur le gateau ! On arrive au centre de location a 50km de chez moi et la societe enterprise na meme pas ete capable de leur envoyer le documents donc obliger d'attendre 2h que la societe de besançon rouvre pour avoir ce foutu papier !
Je ne recommande pas dutout !

En arrivant ils avaient donné le véhicule a un autre client...ils étaient partis chercher une autre voiture a l'autre depot du coup il fallait attendre mais pas capable de dire combien de temps...du coup on a pris un véhicule plus petit.a moitié chemin plus de climatisation sous 36° batterie a plat le temps de manger c'est reparti.a cdg le total était en panne ils ont facturé 2€61 HT le litre ...

I have occasionally had an unpleasant experience with my local Enterprise. HOWEVER, GENERALLY I'M QUITE SATISFIED. Recently, for example, I had a fabulous experience with my local Enterprise in Ensley Alabama (35208). The Agent who helped me, MIRACLE, went over and above and out of her way to locate and procure me a car so that I could travel out of state to my Dad's 86th Birthday celebration. She even upgraded my reservation, which was an extra blessing because my parents, unexpectedly, ended up traveling back home with me in the comfort of the upgraded car Miracle gave me. When I returned the ride, Miracle got me back to my destination. The driver who took me home was also pleasant. I am very pleased with the pleasant and professional staff and service that I got from everyone at the Ensley-Birmingham Branch, including the cold water on a very hot day!! I could not be more pleased with the Ensley Enterprise Branch and hope that they remain in the area for decades to come. THANKS MIRACLE AND CREW at the Birmingham-Ensley Branch!!

We reserved a car online through corporate in conjunction with our auto insurance and were going to pay for an upgrade and additional days out of pocket. When we went to pick up the car, they didn't have our reservation and we were told it was at another location. We called the other location and were told they had no cars available for us and we were advised to call corporate. We spoke to a representative at Corporate and were told they would call us back. NO response back. Do not rent cars from them. You could end up stranded!

If I could do negative star I would. We rented a luxury suv for our family trip to Panama. While driving to Panama the check engine light came on. We called enterprise upon arrival and told them the situation. They informed us that a suv was ready to pick up at the Panama airport. We spent an hour of our vacation driving to the airport for them to tell us they had no vehicle and gave us locations that we could get the car serviced. First of all I don’t work for you and I paid you for a service. We left with the same car and contacted Newburgh Indiana office again. My boyfriend was then told they had communicated with Panama and a vehicle was definitely ready this time. The next day my boyfriend spent another two hours of our vacation driving to the Panama airport to be told again that no vehicle was available. We had regular communications with Kendall from Newburgh and she was the only helpful individual we dealt with. Panama told us all they had was a 15 passenger van. We had to drive home in this vehicle. Not what we paid for not what we wanted. Upon returning the shuttle bus the guy asked what it would take to make him satisfied and my bf said you tell me a number and he said 10% 10%!!!!!! After everything that we had to encounter. No one was asking for a hand out. It was not about money. It’s about customer service. This was the absolute worst customer service I have ever encountered. We always use enterprise. I can say we will NEVER be using them again if something does not happen to fix this situation. The whole thing was chaos.

I am disabled, It is hard for me to be able to walk even short distances without pain due to issues with my spine and knees. I am trying to rent a car for my friend (who doesn't have a card currently) to drive. He is coming to help me move from CA to NC, as I no longer have a helper at this time. He is coming so that I can get to doctor appointments, vet visits, and all the things in-between so I can get moved.

I can give enterprise my credit card online and even over the phone, but they are saying I have to physically be there to hand them my card to give payment. If that is the case, why are they taking my card information online/over phone? I understand from a security point why they need to see the card but I am not able to go there without a lot of pain. I offered to video call at the time to show them my card and ID but they refused. I asked why they need me to be there if I am willing to show them my card and ID in real time when they have taken my card information through their website and all I get back is a stupid parrot squawking "it's policy! it's policy!"

I hope none of these people experience what it is like to be helpless and at the mercy of people unwilling to help. To only hear "well it's policy" instead of suggestions. To have the frustration of basically being home-bound with a friend willing to literally fly across the US to help you, but blocked by "policy". No, to be honestly petty, I do hope one day they come up against issues of "policy" with no one to help them, just like they've done to me.

Fraudulent business practice with massive hidden fees for a one-way rental. I've rented from Enterprise for over 2 decades, and never been charged hidden fees like this. They calculated "excessive mileage" as anything over 0 miles, and then hid behind 50+ page agreements not in the original contact in order to keep the money. Avoid at all costs - take your business elsewhere.
