So we ordered an engine in feb of 2025, after loads of whatsapp messages not being replied to it finally turned up on 8th may 2025, however it was damaged in transit, so i messaged on whatsapp and sent photos of the damage, the only 3 replies i had was to say lewis was out of the country and they would try get a solution for us. Which never happened. I gave up chasing and calling in the end. We ended up having to spend £600 to replace the damaged parts. Absolutley gutting as the first 2 engines we had of them proir there was no issue, after our last experience i wouldnt recommend at all.

Hi could you please drop us a what’s app with your order details and the information of the damage and I will resolve this. We don’t have the same office staff as before so Iv not heard anything regarding this. A 1 star review for damage on an engine which you probably have fitted now is abit harsh if you have already had 2 engines prior that was fine. Don’t seem to see any 5 star reviews for the 2 other orders you’ve had people only ever seem to leave bad reviews when something goes wrong not when good things happen. Iv got over 700 orders on our system would be great if everyone left a good review. Hopefully we can resolve this and amend the review. Thanks

Didn’t want to pay for the 50% upfront cost what we charge due to customers not collecting their vehicles months after completion and us having money tied in customers jobs. Never paid us a penny never agreed to do the work on basis vehicle be collected soon as it’s done as a one off. Come back after Christmas and new year DVLA took vehicle off the street as customer cancelled his tax I rang dvla to collect it at my cost and they informed me customer asked them to scrap his vehicle customer diddnt inform me of this until I chased him. Again we did not have a penny of the customer we arranged recovery!

You cancelled before we could even deliver it to you. You was well aware you ordered it why I was away on holiday and it was still the new year holidays. we was closed a week later after the near year as I was away and unfortunately I was sick on the last 2 days so could not get intro wok the Friday I got back. Refund being processed once new customer pays for your engine you paid for
Scammed for £3300
We ordered and paid £3337.80 for an engine replacement on one of our vehicles. The supplier was paid in full in May of 2025. As of January 2026 we are still without a refund or without the vehicle repaired. Engines2you have ignored all contact for the past 3 months. They have taken the money without fitting the engine and the vehicle is still with them having not been repaired. Having been patient with both the supplier over the past 10 months we have no further option but to report the matter further and go through small claims court to try and recoup the funds. Avoid using this platform at all costs.

We have just over 780 orders in our kashflow so im 100% certain we aren’t a scam or we would Be closed by now. there’s a reason if you can’t get through busy/on the phone/ out on lunch 1-2/office staff off (which he has last 2 weeks) You can always come to our premises if you struggle to get in touch we aren’t hiding from anyone. Bought a second-hand engine for my BMW…
Bought a second-hand engine for my BMW 318i back in July, advertised as a 2019 with 28,000 miles. Another engine was delivered with apparently 32,000 miles, but after installation within 3 days, the Engine management light came on, and within 2 weeks, the engine failed. Engines 2 You Ltd were sent back my car, but have failed to fix the issue, and I am now taking them to Court as they have caused me total financial distress.
I would advise not to work with this company; they have been unprofessional in every aspect of their conduct.

The reason for the customers engine failure is due to contaminated oil, this has been caused by their previous engine failure (Turbo failure as advised by the customer). When the turbo failed on his own engine, the contaminated oil left by this has not been fully removed from the vehicle prior to fitting our working engine. We did also ask for the customer to provide proof that the system had been fully flushed prior to installing our engine with new turbo oil feed and return pipes / gaskets, which we didn't get a reply to or proof provided. As confirmed by the customer, the vehicle drove absolutely fine at first, it's only when the contaminated oil passed through the engine / turbo the issues started to arise. Also when we drained the engine of his oil, it only had 3 litres of oil in it (needs 4.5), not near enough the engine should have. Furthermore, as advised by the customer, when the EML (Engine Management Light) came on due to the camshaft solenoid (A camshaft solenoid runs on oil pressure, due to the car not having the correct amount of oil / contaminated oil the solenoid won't operate correctly, hence it coming up with an error) you took your vehicle back to the garage that fitted the engine. Now instead of the issue being diagnosed correctly or fixed, the EML and any error codes where wiped from the vehicle and the vehicle was the drove on a long journey (to Cornwall on holiday i believe). Wiping the codes is not a solution and does not fix any problem. The engine itself is running absolutley fine, the turbo has just gone due to the above explained issues. The customer's vehicles is still with us, we have requested for proof of new turbo seals / gaskets aswell as new theromsta / water pump & timing kit (As per T & C's) we have not got any replies from the customer, nor has the vehicle been collected as we have requested. Engine rebuild
Had an engine took out and a full overhaul. These guys practically rebuilt my engine from scratch. Took a day or so longer than stated but over all really happy with the results. Car is running better than ever

This review is the same customer as the below review (see below review by Jo Johnson) We still have the customers vehicle / engine build on hold, the engine build requires additonal parts not included in the original build, we have requested customer to either source the parts needed or pay the additional fee. However customer refused to co-operate and insisits on their vehicle back, aswell as the engine built back up and a full refund, after a lot of hard work and money has already been put into the job. On going mediation between ourselves and the customer. Job is currently on hold. Thank you
