I cannot recommend this program enough! I was nervous to make the investment, and I am so glad I did. Since joining the program in mid-Feb (it is now mid-Aug), I have received over 40 new client inquiries. Prior to joining the program, I was in a big slump lasting about 6 months in which I would be lucky to receive 1 or 2 inquiries a month. Some months - zero. Jess' program has taught me how to build SEO in a sustainable way, believe in myself and market my skills effectively. The coaches are very helpful and incredibly accessible - group calls, individual calls. I can’t recommend the private pay accelerator enough! I joined because I knew I wanted to grow a sustainable private pay practice, but I felt overwhelmed by all the moving pieces and unsure where to focus my energy first!

As someone with ADHD, one of the biggest things I loved about the program was having a clear idea of each next step to take! Instead of feeling scattered, trying to piece together advice from a million different places, or constantly wondering what I should be working on next, I had actual steps to follow, coaches to guide me, and accountability to make sure I took action!

While in the program, I was able to grow my private pay caseload, move off most insurance panels, raise my rates, build a website that speaks directly to my ideal clients, and learn how to improve my visibility so potential clients could actually find me through Google and AI searches!

Some of the other changes I made have also made a huge impact in my practice and in my overall self-worth! Empowering Therapists has been helpful in getting my private practice website off the ground, clarifying my niche, improving my Psychology Today referral strategy, and working through my money mindset. I’ve especially valued the one-on-one coaching and am seeing increased website traffic.

However, I had expected more hands-on website development. I initially understood that the program would help build the website rather than primarily provide guidance and support while I did the work myself.

Another limitation for me is that I run a 100% virtual practice and do not use Squarespace as my website platform. Much of the website guidance is very Squarespace-focused, so some of it wasn’t applicable to me. Similarly, some Google Business Profile recommendations seem more geared toward therapists with a physical or hybrid practice rather than virtual-only practices.

The program is a significant investment, and with six weeks remaining, I’ve had three private-pay clients. While traffic and visibility are improving, I’m not yet seeing the level of client growth I had hoped for, particularly the goal of reaching eight private-pay clients. Some of the general information could also be found through resources like ChatGPT, so for me, the greatest value has been the personalized coaching and accountability.

Overall, I appreciate the coaching and foundation the program has provided, but I would like to see more hands-on support, greater flexibility for different website platforms, and strategies specifically designed for virtual-only practices.

More importantly, I now feel like I understand how to build a sustainable practice instead of relying on luck. Working with Jessica and her team was a really positive experience, and it was the best business decision I've made so far! It's also a plus to work with coaches who consistently do their own work to be better themselves, which shows up in the progress and support they bring to those being coached. I gained so much confidence niching down, slowly stepping off insurance, website design, and working through money wounds/scarcity mindset - while stepping more into abundance and my creativity outside of my practice (which has oddly attracted an influx of clients!). My progress was slow while in the program, but two days after ending, my inquiries had been nonstop. Today (1.5 months later), my practice is full with 40% cash-pay clients. I'm excited to see how my practice evolves, and I'm just so grateful that I took the risk to join this program! I truly love business and marketing, and it is a new passion of mine.

I cannot say enough good things about this program and all that I have gained so far! To say I was a skeptic is an understatement- ( I had the fraud team at my bank research the company before buying in and they verified nothing but positives about them). SOoo I took the leap and made the investment. I have been in practice 28 years and in private practice for 11, but I knew nothing about websites and SEO, was terrified to come off insurance, and was generally considering going back to work for a "company". Jessica and her amazing team of coaches have taught me more than I can say. I have not even finished the program and already see my website ranking in the top 5 for my area, 1st for some subject matter! There is so much to say about Empowering therapist and the coaches and team. I will start with sharing what a skeptical person I am. I spent weeks looking at Jess's instagram account, trying to implement the tips she shares on there before I signed up for a consult. Once I did, I knew I needed to do the whole program. There were massive amounts of information beyond the nuggets she freely gives on her social media, that are complete game changers. The investment is costly but in a short window of time, I am quickly seeing the trajectory of my business increase to project not only making the money invested, but trifold in the first year. And much more in the following years. And everything I learned are sustainable skills that allow me to keep growing and building my practice upon.

But truly, that was not even the best part of the program. The mindset shift I gained from believing in myself as a business woman, not just a therapist was invaluable. This is not something that is taught in Graduate school. In fact the messages from my graduate experience and industry/govt/non profit work was the complete opposite. The shift within me, helped me grow in ways I will forever appreciate. I would highly recommend this program.

This is a great course if you are starting private practice or if you have been in private practice for a while but do not know how to do your SEO, which I have found very helpful for our group practice. Being able to meet with Cerissa for SEO work has been life-saving. Little by little, we have developed a steady weekly intake pace. It is pricey, but I recommend it 100%. After I finished the course, I did an extension to continue learning more about SEO and get help from Cerissa.

A few months into this program and I already feel like a different business owner. I came in with zero real knowledge of marketing or SEO, something we definitely don't learn in grad school, and I'm leaving with real tools and confidence. My visibility as a therapist has genuinely improved.

The coaches and material have been wonderful, and the community of women I've met has been just as valuable as the curriculum itself. There was a learning curve for me, especially given my age, but it built a foundation I'm truly grateful for. I’ve had a very positive experience with this program and have had a great deal of success. I’ve already terminated one insurance contract and retained over 75% of clients who were using that insurance.
