Emerald Cruises UK Arvostelua 

The boat was fine as always and we had no problems with this or any of the staff who were all fine.
What we didn't like was where the boat docked.It was always out of town and mostly at industrial sitrs. We are now elderly and less mobile than we used to be. Excursions always by coach and time limited don't aleays suit us anymore. This we knew before we went but we expecred to get off the boat whereever it docked and be able toaccess some local facilities without having to get on a coach. This we have always done on previous trips without any problems. We are now into double figures in our number of cruises and never had a problem before. We can onlt assume you are booking the cheapest docking points available which certainly detracted from our experience

We've been loyal Emerald & Scenic clients for 10 years and quite honestly feel we've been shafted by the new "loyalty" programme. Despite all our trips, our sticking with them during the COVID years, we've been dumped into the lowest level. Not good at all.

Staff were amazing...in all areas...despite a change in itinerary ( not Emeralds fault) they did their very best to give us a fantastic experience....and the food was exquisite!!

They managed to do everything right!!
The ship was very comfortable, the house care was wonderful, the food and drink were superb with a perfect Butler service looking after anything else you desired.

The staff are exceptional the Food is superb both quantity and quality and choice, we have done 4 Emerald Cruises and it would have been 5 iif Putin had not attacked Ukraine

Everything…….transfers to and from the airport were well executed. The ship was fantastic. The crew were second to none. The ports we stopped at were really interesting and picturesque and the guides were knowledgeable, informative and friendly.

Our experience during the excursion lunch organized by Emerald Cruises was extremely disappointing and far below the standard expected from a luxury cruise company.

When our group arrived at the scheduled lunch location, there was nobody there to receive or assist us. We remained inside the bus for quite some time without any information or explanation about what was happening. The entire situation was disorganized and uncomfortable.

Afterwards, we were taken to the same location where 14 members of our group had previously been dropped off. Food was eventually offered, but we noticed there was clearly not enough structure or preparation for the number of guests present. The experience felt chaotic, poorly coordinated, and disrespectful to passengers who trusted the company to provide a properly organized excursion.

What disappointed us even more was the lack of communication and support from the staff during the incident. No clear explanations, apologies, or immediate solutions were provided at the time.

This experience significantly affected our perception of the cruise and does not reflect the level of service promoted by Emerald Cruises.

Wonderful Danube river cruise, activities throughout the day from keep fit in the morning, swimming tours around the ports of call. Also ebikes for adventures alone or in the group. Food varied and regional, also activities in the evening. Lovely rooms and staff.

The actual cruise was fantastic and the crew and staff were amazing and very friendly and helpful. The food, drinks and entertainment were first class as usual.
However after the above our journey home was horrendous as our flight from Basel to Frankfurt was delayed and we missed our flight home to Birmingham giving us a 5 hour wait meaning we arrived home at 1.30 am feeling very tired and exhausted!! Not the end we expected after a wonderful and enjoyable cruise.

Staff efficient and friendly and really lovely. Food great. Boat lovely too and tours really well organised. When we had a cancelled flight home all sorted by Emerald without any worries.

Our cruise up the Rhine was perfect. The staff, the food, the cabin and the excursions were all of the highest standard. All made better by the good luck of having good weather!

Everything about our trip was exceptional! From the cabin, the food, the bars to the crew, the spa and the marina, it was amazing. Already looking to book again

Although we had to change boats, it was exceptionally well organised and seemed seamless.
Staff were all excellent especially James and Igor.

First class service and the cruise was very nice indeed.

We have travelled with scenic and emerald. 3 River cruises so far. All first class. Looking for for our next port of call.

We did the seven night Eastern Caribbean with St Barts cruise on the Supper Yacht Emerald Sakara. What a fantastic experience. From the moment we joined the ship to the moment we left we were wonderfully looked after. The boarding experience in Barbados was a little slow for such a small ship, with poor signage, but this was down to the port rather than Emerald crew.
The Staff are fantastic and make a great effort to get to know you, your likes and dislikes and what type of care you are looking for. They are unbelievably friendly without being overbearing and could not do enough to help. The Accommodation and the Yacht itself are amazing with onboard dining being the high standard one expects. Not one "Duff" meal. Every night there was some sort of free drink in the bar and free wine and beers with meals meant there really was little extra expense.
The Marina and the water toys off the stern of the Yacht was brilliant and we had great fun. Bear in mind this is very weather dependent, so may not be able to get deployed.
Most excursions are extra cost, with the included ones being fairly basic. Highly recommend the Antigua ziplining, if this is your thing. It is not too strenuous.
We would go back on one of these Yachts in a flash, funds permitting, and were very sorry to leave.

Food fantastic. Nothing too much trouble. Staff great.every effort to compensate us when we had to change ships because of flooding on river. Even gave everyone free drinks for whole 15 days.

Good atmosphere on board. Expected slightly more upmarket food and entertainment. Lots of destination alterations. Lifts didn't work in slightly rough seas. Staff wonderful.

I have just returned from a 14 day east Caribbean cruise on Emerald Sakara. I must say the cruise was outstanding. I couldn’t fault it. The captain was extremely welcoming, all the crew were extremely efficient and friendly and the menus were delicious. I will certainly be going on another Emerald cruise in the future.
