El Monte RV - Las Vegas Arvostelua 

We rented a A class RV expecting we would get a A class RV. Instead we got a A- RV. It was faling apart! We can understand that everyone wants to rent one and not everybody looks after it. But what we do expect is it to be in order. We felt it was not checkt out. We still payed a lot of money and in fact it was not worth it. Next time we are going to look somewhere else

We had a mixed experience with El Monte, some of the experience was good, and as should be expected, other where very bad and completly i acceptable.

I would only recomend El Monte to be used, if you have no other options, the extra price tag vs other RV rentals, is not well spent.

The consition of the RV was extremly bad, it was clearly used and most of the interior was in one way or another damaged.

The drivning of the RV was bad, the quality of the drivning experience was not worth the extra money, and the service of the truck was also not very well done.

The onroad service that El Monte is providing... Is a joke, its just for show, because its not working and you have to push them for a reply, and then they send you to a wrong place to get it fixed.

We got 5 days returned, but the extra money we paid vs other rentals, is NOT worth it!

Rental Unit: safe, easy to use, detailed and ongoing usage instructions on all capabilities of the unit
Staff: courteous and informative at both Vegas and Orlando facilities
During trip: quick phone access and detailed emails for questions and instructions
Easy pick up and return procedures

A bit more costly, but well worth it. Picked up in Orlando, FL drove to NY and then Las Vegas, NV. Quality RVs, flexible scheduling, great support and easy pickup/drip off. Had to extend an extra day towards the end, no issue. Will be using El Monte again.

We had the worst experience ever I’ve emailed several times. We also got hurt on the steps to the rv and no one has contacted me. But yet I get a reminder to do a review which I have already done before!

Good explanation before driving and support for trouble thru email timely. RV was clean and there is no critical problem.

Smooth checkin, smooth checkout, no surprise
Except for a few minor issues, the vr was great. Our friend rented from a different ompany and they got a less desirable experience and older cheaper rv.

RV rattled pretty badly on the bumpier roads, but we did travel over 4,000 total miles so, seeing as how it held up through all that distance, I can't honestly complain too much. I enjoyed the on site staff at the Vegas El Monte RV location, however their customer service hotline is basically useless. They fed me false information and tried to create entirely new reservations to avoid giving me due discounts, then proceeded to tell me someone at the location had "lied to me" about what they were able to offer me. I found the staff on site to be honest and helpful. Upon return, we alerted staff to an issue that we'd been concerned about causing us additional cost after the trip. The gauges for the black and gray water were not properly reading so it always showed full, even immediately after dumping. We were NOT charged extra for this. Other than that small concern, the RV functioned well for the 3 travelers (plus 1 large dog). Ultimately, I paid what I expected to and, since we returned everything as it was given to us, we received our refundable deposit within 4 business days. The experience was overall positive. I would just avoid having to interact at all, in any capacity, with their customer service hotline. If possible, I'd suggest coming into the location in person for the best service and information. They were truly great!

Die ersten 4 Tage mit der A-Class:
1. Nach 20 Meilen Fahrt festgestellt, dass der Generator nicht geht. Zurück zur El Monte Station nach Las Vegas. 2 Stunden gewartet, dann auf Ersatzfahrzeug bestanden, was wir nach langer Diskussion bekommen haben.
2. Nach 100 Meilen geht gelbe Motorlampe an. Hotline ratlos - wir sollen weiterfahren solange es geht.
3. Lifting Jacks fahren nach dem 3. Stopp nicht mehr ein. Hotline nicht in der Lage, einen Techniker zu organisieren. Sind selbst aktiv geworden und haben lokal einen besorgt. 120 $ bezahlt - nach 6 Stunden konnten wir weiterfahren.
4. Während der Fahrt fällt der Monitor inkl. Entertainment-System und Rückfahrkamera aus……
5. Plötzlich Gasalarm im Auto: alles gecheckt und siehe da, Gastank leer. Wieder für 51 $ aufgetankt. Wieder Gasalarm. Haupthahn zugedreht. Den Rest des Urlaubs fahren wir ohne Gas ( und teilweise ohne Kühlschrank, wenn Generator nicht laufen darf).

Ich höre jetzt auf - das Auto ist ein reiner Schrotthaufen!

Really great experience. RV was clean and new, pickup and return was fast and easy.

Wij hebben onze camper opgehaald in Las Vegas, alles ging soepel en vlot. Camper was in prima staat met 31.000 mile op de teller en onderweg geen problemen gehad. Wat ik vreemd vond is dat er wel campingtafel bij zit maar geen stoelen, hebben we overigens gekocht bij Walmart.

Even during the vehicle orientation, we noticed a few issues that led to major problems later on during the trip. For example, there was a clearly visible dirty footprint on the bedsheet. The employee didn’t replace the sheet until we pointed it out.

In addition, the lever for the gray water tank was very difficult to operate. Even the El Monte employee had trouble operating it and simply handed us a can of WD-40 instead of fixing the problem. Later in the trip, the lever finally broke off completely about halfway through our vacation.

Unfortunately, in the days that followed, we also discovered that the camper was in an extremely dirty condition overall. This condition was not immediately apparent in its entirety when we picked up the vehicle. In our view, it is unacceptable to rent a vehicle in this condition to customers.

In addition, we had booked the Platinum Package, which includes, among other things, a coffee maker and a toaster. However, both items were missing when we picked up the vehicle. Unfortunately, we didn’t notice this until after we had left the rental station.

We have already forwarded the details of this incident directly to El Monte via a complaint email.

We like the room that the motorhome had 32 foot but we did not like electric hot water heater did not work luckily the gas worked for hot water. We did not like the two mattresses that just thrown in the sleep area over the driver and passenger seat.
That’s where I slept and it was ridiculous both uneven mattresses and that’s not even what was supposed to be up there by the manufacturer. I was very, very terrible uncomfortable. The back bedroom mattress was stained and very disgusting and we were told when we rented in Las Vegas that it was a 2025 camper which it was not we looked in the glove compartment and it was a 2024 I’ve rented from El Monte a few times last time we had no hot water the other time we had mold, dirty mattresses in the RV the first time we rented from bear RV, out of Seattle it was fantastic not sure who I will go with next time I ran an RV if I do El Monte again you can bet your bottom dollar that I will be calling the rental place before I pick up the RV and tell them what I expect for spending five to $6000 before I pick up the RV and I will go over it with a fine tooth comb!!!!!!!! oh yeah I forgot when I picked up the first RV from Vegas we got about 15 miles down the interstate maybe 20 miles and it was shaking so bad the front end I had to turn around and go back to the RV dealer that’s when the manager gave us the one we rented I really should’ve went over the RV good before I took that one as a customer. I really shouldn’t have to. I should trust your company to go over it to make sure everything is good. That’s all maybe I’ll do business with you again maybe not.

Unsere CamperVan Reise war ein weiteres Highlight in unserem Leben. Dank der Größe des Wohnmobils waren wir auf den Straßen sicher und auch sparsam im Verbrauch unterwegs. Es ist für zwei Personen perfekt! Das Fahrzeug war zwar nicht mehr das neueste, es hat uns aber in den Bergen und dem heißen Klima um Las Vegas nicht verlassen. Wir würden den CamperVan jederzeit wieder buchen und können diesen auch weiterempfehlen!

The pick-up and drop-off from the RV were very quick, mainly due to the self check-in. Staff was also kind and helpfully.
An free early pick-up, like it was a couple of years ago, would have been pretty.
