Ordered what was supposed to be Linen Pants and Linen top in apricot colour cost me 62.50 dollars in the sale i trusted there website to be genuine when my items arrived there cheap paper thin not finished properly chinese crap cost about 10 dollars to make this is a true review stay away from ElleToronto buy from Amazon at least you can return goods utter utter Garbage

If I could give zero stars I would! DO NOT waste your money on this company! I made the huge mistake of ordering 3 dresses and a “ faux leather trench” from them and every item is of such horrible quality, poor stitching, falling apart, cheap synthetic fabric and the coat like a garbage bag! There’s NO returns contrary to their claim of “easy returns “ unless you want to waste even more money shipping everything back to China! This company needs to be shut down, isn’t it fraud to imply you are a Canadian company when not???

Bought a pair of boots, they are so classy, perfect for meetings.

I ordered leather lace up boots from Elle Toronto in Light Brown. Website pictures looked great, description stated they are high quality.

When boots arrived, they were the wrong colour (coffee vs light brown), did not have all of the features of the boots pictured online, and are of poor quality.

I started to initiate a return, and was informed by Elle Toronto that I would have to pay all return costs to China, which will be very expensive, even though they confirmed in writing that they sent the wrong boots. The fact that they sent the wrong boots does not qualify for a free return according to them.

I ordered a couple of items and overall the experience was okay. Some pieces looked really good and matched the style I expected, but others were a bit different from the photos and the quality felt average for the price. Sizing was also slightly inconsistent.

If I could give a zero I would. First of all, not a Canadian company. One of the items was no where near what I ordered. Poor quality and not at all like the pictures. Will not give me a refund. They are a scam, do not order from Elle Toronto!

I ordered a jacket from this fashion store and the whole process was simple and smooth. The package arrived nicely. It is fit on me and also it's looking stylish and felt comfortable right away.

I assumed from the name that Elle Toronto was a quality Canadian based clothing store. This is not a Canadian based company. I should have known that this company was not reputable based on the return policy. Says returns are free and easy but if you dig into the policy, the buyer is responsible for all return shipping, customs fees etc. and the item has to go back to China. But the shirt looked really nice and I decided to take a 50.00 chance. MISTAKE. Cheaply made shirt, stiff, not soft and flowy like the picture. Made in China. Can’t return as others have claimed. From now on if I want Chinese made clothing I will order directly from a Chinese manufacturer that has better quality clothing for a realistic price and an actual return policy!
Lesson learned.

Good collection I like the products in all.

Do NOT order from them. The quality is cheap and returning the item is impossible. I've had to go through my card issuer to do a chargeback.

DO NOT purchase from this company. The company is using the name ELLE Toronto to mislead consumers into believing they are associated with ELLE Magazine Canada. The clothing is misrepresented online. The quality and design is AWFUL! This is a SCAM operation! You will NEVER receive a refund. They require you to return your item to CHINA! The cost of shipping will outweigh the cost of purchase. This company should be SHUT DOWN by Ontario Consumer Affairs!!!!

Do not buy from here the products are nothing like pictured and are complete garbage. Return shipping will cost you the same as the product. I was forced to contact the bank to get my money back. Even if the product was free, I wouldn't wear it.

I will really recommend this brand to anyone out there trying to get wears of high value i really love their products

I don't like to write negative reviews but I have to in this case. I bought 3 (quality) dresses. None were quality.

Dress 1 was for a wedding. My husband said it is hideous. It is. The lining is a brushed type nylon that was worn as nightdress material many, many years ago. I thought this type of material had been stopped because of its highly flammable nature. It feels terrible on your skin.
Dress 2 said it was silk, it isn't. The material is not quality, there's better quality dresses on Shein for less money.
Dress 3 looks like it was whipped up in 5 minutes by the seamstress. The material is awful and the stitching visible on the hem.

If you want to return the items for a full refund you have to pay for shipping and customs to China. I received a 20% refund on dresses that I will probably give away unless a good seamstress can make something out of them.

To end on a good note their customer service is quick and good.

Full on scammers. Nothing legit. They're using AI to post fake reviews here on trustpilot.

Site claims Canadian heritage. But company registration in Florida, and drop shipping everything from mainland China.

Website says order can't be cancelled more than 30mins after purchase and promises 3day processing and 7 day shipping.

Ordered Mar 16th. Processing actually takes two weeks while an AI chatbot feeds you various excuses. Shipped Apr 1st from mainland china. Package finally received at destination in Canada Apr 14th.

Other reviews note size problems. I ordered 4XL, which is usually quite rare. Will update if the order ever actually arrives. *Edit* Order arrived, size is way small. Equal to a Medium-Large anywhere else.

Fit and shape of garment is way different than pics on website.

Fabric is much lower quality than shown on website.

Stitching looks like it will come apart in three places fresh out of the bag.

Have disputed charges and card company has agreed to reverse the transaction. You must contact your card company right away if you've made the mistake or ordering from these scammers.

Thanks you to Lisa Baker and anyone else in customer service that fixed the error I made when ordering. You got back to me so quickly, I really appreciated it. I just got my sandals and they are perfect. Thanks again.

I rarely leave reviews like this, but this one is warranted.

I ordered three dresses from this company, and every single one was extremely poor quality — thin, cheap fabric, poor stitching, and nothing close to what was shown in the photos. The fit, structure, and overall look were completely misrepresented.

What’s worse is the return process. You’re required to ship items back to Asia at your own expense, with no guarantee of a refund. Alternatively, they offer a 10% refund — which is essentially nothing.

This feels less like a legitimate retail experience and more like a bait-and-switch.

My advice: save your money and avoid the frustration. What you receive will not match what you see online, and resolving it will cost you more time and money than it’s worth.

I actually like my new sets of pants, overally looks very beautiful, but the size is a bit smaller.
