Ordered a Hypervolt 3 charger that was showing in stock online. Few hours later received an email saying they are expecting 1 or 2 days extra for delivery.
I called them regarding a new delivery date to be promised it will be in by the time my installation was booked for. I asked for a refund but was told it would definitely be here.
Installation day today and no unit. Called up to check where it was and was told they hadn't received stock yet, and I needed to wait. Was also told that they never promise any delivery times.
So still no unit, and a lovely £100 charge to the installer for turning up to fit nothing.

Appalling customer service and a total disregard for UK consumer law
I ordered electrical sockets from this company, but they supplied them in the incorrect colour. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, this means the goods were "not as described."
When I contacted customer service to rectify their mistake, they refused to send the correct items until I returned the incorrect ones first. To make matters worse, they provided a FedEx label that required me to print it out and travel to a drop-off point. I explicitly informed them that I do not have a printer and am physically unable to travel to a drop-off location. Under UK consumer law, a customer must not face significant inconvenience or out-of-pocket expenses to fix a retailer's error.
Instead of arranging a standard home courier collection where the driver brings a label—which I gladly offered to facilitate—they doubled down, calling my phone to hide behind their internal "company policy."Their internal policies do not overrule statutory UK law.
I am writing this to educate and empower other unwary buyers who find themselves trapped by this company's abysmal tactics: do not let them bully you. You do not have to accept their useless internal policies. If this company holds your order hostage or tries to force you to jump through hoops to fix their blunder, bypass their risible customer service completely. You are fully entitled to protect yourself by initiating a chargeback dispute through your bank or credit card provider to legally claw your money back.
I have now formally instructed my credit card issuer to begin this chargeback process for the value of the incorrect items. This company's behaviour explains perfectly why nearly 40% of their reviewers have left 1-star ratings. They are combative, untrustworthy, and completely unfit to trade online. If you are stuck in a similar nightmare with them, do not waste your time arguing—call your bank immediately and force a refund.

Jason, we're sorry that the incorrect items were supplied — matt black sockets were ordered and smoked bronze were sent, and that was our error. We apologise unreservedly for that. Once the FedEx label and drop-off options weren't workable for you, we arranged for a returns label to be sent to you by post — something you confirmed you were happy with. We're sorry the situation became as frustrating as it did, and we remain ready to process your refund promptly as soon as the items are returned to us.

First time ordering from them and they sent the wrong item I ordered bulbs with 4000k cool white and they sent me 2700k

Pre-order of an AC unit paid in advance, then cancelled
I pre-ordered an air conditioning unit on 25th June and the money was taken immediately (this wasn't clear). Also, it wasn't obvious that the pre-order date displayed was for delivery to them and not to me, the customer.
On 26th June I received an email that 'delivery was slightly delayed' but with no ETA. I asked when we could expect delivery but wasn't given a clear answer. I emailed again on 27th to get a delivery date and got a more helpful response, still no actual day as it would depend on what time of day their delivery would arrive. On 29th I received a further email that the supplier couldn't deliver after all and they were cancelling my order. The refund was issued the same day.
Be aware if you pre-order the money will be taken immediately and you still may not get your goods.
I may have just been unlucky (it was for an air conditioning unit after all, in the very hot month of June 2026!).

Terrible customer service from Gary
Terrible customer service from Gary. I ordered a fire alarm, which I presumed was like-for-like. The unit I ordered was not delivered, and an updated version was sent. They did not clearly state this on the website, and now we have to pay for the return. Goes against the Consumer Rights Act "not as described" I should be entitled under the act to receive adequate payment for the return at no cost for the consumer.

We've been in touch to arrange a free collection on the 15th June and a full refund will follow — you won't be out of pocket in any way. Horrible staff don’t know the distance selling laws. Don’t care about customers
Nasty company.
They described an item badly. Didn’t specify in the description which functions the item did or didn’t have.
Then they said it’s my fault it’s wrong,
And that it’s a customers responsibility to go ebesewhere and look up product codes to see if it’s the right item and that it’s not their responsibility.
So I’m forced to pay high shipping costs privately to return it ..
I will never shop with this company again. No matter what. I had a basket full of of items i was about to order and now I won’t.
I highly recommend all diy and electricians avoid this shop completely.

We did offer a return under our standard unwanted goods policy; as the correct product was supplied to order, return carriage does fall to the customer in this instance, though we appreciate that's frustrating. Excellent customer service
Excellent customer service when dealing with a delivery issue. The manager I spoke to was very responsive and compassionate, making my experience with the company a positive one. Also, brilliant radiator, easy to install and effective for heating our spare room.

Customer Service was Amazing
Customer service was amazing, speed of response very fast, I got a reply to a technical problem within a couple of hours, and above all I felt the team at electricpoint put the customer first. Finally I dealt mostly with Nick, who impressed me with technical knowledge, and awareness of regulations pertaining to the lighting product I had purchased.
