Excellent little course about whisky tasting.

I recently completed the Certificate in Gin online through Edinburgh Whisky Academy, and it exceeded my expectations! The course is SQA-accredited and led by industry experts, offering engaging video tutorials, text modules, and quizzes that reinforced learning. I appreciated the flexible, self-paced structure and lifetime access—a great fit for busy schedules.

After reviewing all the information, I have gained a comprehensive understanding of the history of Scotch whisky, its production process, pricing, and the associated costs. I have also considered the various regions, their producers, and their contributions to the industry.

I appreciate the efforts of the Scotch Whisky Association in protecting and promoting the industry on a global scale.

Recently, I had the pleasure of completing the Certificate in Scotch Whisky at the Edinburgh Whisky Academy, and it was a truly enriching and enjoyable experience from start to finish.

As someone who’s always been fascinated by whisky—especially with a soft spot for Scotland’s rich heritage—I found the course to be the perfect blend of structured learning and passion-driven discovery. Held in a setting that celebrates tradition and craftsmanship, the Academy provides not only academic knowledge but a genuine appreciation for what goes into every dram.

The class was interesting. The different regions and the different styles of whisky made it sound interesting.

The availability of free courses is great, because it gives you a preview of what you can expect of a paid course. The website is very easy and clear

Course content was good, great r3fresher course. Wish they would have been more clear about the certificate and lapel pin, said available upon request, but cost over $50 for shipping.....

This is my second course with EWA and I'm beyond happy. The staff is easy to work with, the information is top-notch, and the education is real and doesn't seem like any one brand is using it for a marketing opportunity. I've learned plenty and I've been writing whiskey reviews and hosting educational events for years.

All of the courses that Edinburgh Wiskey Acadamy produce are amazing. The video quality is great and visually appealing, but what really makes the courses worth it is the content. They are detailed and very relevant. This course was no different. I truly hope that they keep up the work and build on the courses as/when able. I look forward to seeing what comes out in the future.

SENSATIONAL CERTIFICATE WHICH EVERY WHISKEY LOVERS MUST DO

The online purchasing is simple and easily followed. The Intro courses are very educational, organized, and helpful to my understanding of scotch and American malts. The length of the course, using text and video helped me with attention and comprehension. The quiz at the end was a fun way to wrap it up.

Really enjoyed the course and the in depth historic details included along with specifics to the different types of whiskies. I’ve been venturing into scotch and this really helped my understanding even more. Look forward to furthering my knowledge with more classes.
