I bought this brand because it claimed to be easy to use. It’s not! App is a disaster, rads never connect to WiFi. Only can be used manually, one button, 100 functions, ridiculous! Also electric bill doubles!

Absolutely rubbish app, the radiators are ok when they work properly but the app is useless. You can’t set it to come on and off when you want as the weekly schedule over writes your own personal schedule . So if you’re thinking of buying one of these for your child’s room and you don’t want to have it running 24 hours a day then i suggest a different option.

I spoke with one of the girls who works for eco volt and she even said the app doesn’t make sense not being able to control it properly. I also had to put a booster up next to it to get it working even though all the other thinks like iPads and tv’s didn’t need a booster and they are all in the same room.

Another thing to think about is after about 4 months of use the radiator turns yellow and the plastic is still white which looks terrible

I purchased 10 of these radiators for a hotel over the past year. Very easy to install and set up. Sleek design. Have been very happy with the performance through the winter. We just use the control knob on each rad to adjust temperature so we don't use the app. One rad went faulty and the power control was changed without any fuss and in a very efficient manner. Customer service is very important when things go wrong and we cant fault them here, Disappointing they don't take service calls by phone, but the reply from the website and the repair was quick. Intend to buy more in the future.

Happy with the installation. However the app to control the rads is really bad and would need to be updated and upgraded. They blame the WiFi but I see here other people are having problems with it also. We can't all have WiFi issues, particularly to simply connect to such a basic app! My impression is the company are not interested in upgrading or improving on this so not sure what I'll do when it stops working altogether.

While the radiators are excellent, I would advise getting a control panel rather than the hub. The hub relys on the app, but the app hardly ever works properly.

The radiators don't register the temperature in the room correctly.
Also, customer service is very poor. They have outsourced it to Cara Energy & their service is extremely poor - they don't seem to know anything about the radiators, they just send videos that are not related to the issue.

On changing internet provider the smart hub won't pick up the Wifi - changing internet provider is pretty standard thing to do. It's now been 5 days with no heat - it will be a week before Cara call out.

Stay away from them!

my install was booked fairly quick even in their busy winter period, and the installation process was very straight forward, they left no mess and took their rubbish with them. even took my old storage heater away for free to re-purpose it!

Reasonable prices vs competitors, will use again 100% Thanks EcoVolt.
