Ordered an 8 yard skip and they delivered a 7 yard skip a day late. I couldn’t get rid of all my waste. When I complained about the lateness, they tried to blame their subcontractor with a lie. Meanwhile the subcontractor had previously phoned to say Easyskip had paid them late. When I asked Easyskip for a partial refund they refused. I asked for a director’s name to make a formal complaint and I am still waiting 3 week later. I advise you to avoid this company for the reasons mentioned.

Where do I start. Firstly how expensive are skips to hire nowadays?
I booked a 8 yard skip for 1 week which cost nearly £400. Delivery day was booked for a Friday. Was then told it would come Saturday between 7-7 waited in all day. I had waste on my drive on Friday ready to load in to skip as it was due that day but didn't turn up until MONDAY.
Not only is there no way to contact other than email or a whatapp message (with NO number), when you do email there is NO response. My skip was then collected 9am Friday morning. paid for a week didn't have it a week!!!

Excellent experience. Ordered the skip and it arrived the next day. Great communication for delivery and pick up. All very smooth.

The service from Easy Skip is absolutely terrible. I booked a skip for two weeks, During the first week, the skip didn’t arrive at all, and during the second week, it finally arrived but they didn’t exchange it as promised.
I booked another two-week skip for the second time, but they still haven’t even collected the first one. I’ve spent around £980 on this ridiculous service, and honestly, I would not recommend Easy Skip to anyone.

I hired a skip work Easyskip for next day delivery. 5 days later the skip still hasn’t arrived, despite them sending me daily texts saying don’t forget your skips getting collected between 7 am and 7 pm and if I’m not in I will charged £100. I have called, I have emailed and now I just want my money back!

Won't answer messages, dumped skip at the bottom of the drive in fact , half on the drive and half on the garden.
Cannot get my car on the drive now..had a massive issue with the collection, threatened to cancel payment and skip before they bothered to message me back...
Like I said complained about position the skip and they messaged back with extra payment if any mattresses, electrical items, soft furnishings or plaster board goes in....
Will never go with these again...

Checked the Easyskip website to confirm the size of skip I needed for a house refurbishment.
I chose a 14 yard skip as the text stated this was the ideal size for a house renovation, and could accept all the types of waste that would be generated. In particular, the site stated that the skip was ideal for multiple rooms of plasterboard, and other debris.

I checked the FAQ's to check what could be disposed of and what was not allowed. This confirmed that construction debris was ok. This stated that prohibited items included hazardous waste, electrical items, asbestos, tires, refrigerators, freezers, air conditioners, flourescent tubes, batteries, paints and solvents, and medical waste. NO mention of plasterboard.

I ordered the skip. Once the order was fully processed and paid for, I received a confirmation email, with t's & c's attached. The email stated that by placing the order, I had accepted the t's & c's - this was the first time I'd seen them, they weren't on the website!

The skip arrived on the date I'd specified - no issues there.

The skip was filled with all the debris from the house refurb.

I then received a WhatsApp message from EasySkip outlining potential additional charges. This included charges for plasterboard! Based on all the checks I'd undertaken, plasterboard was ok to place in the skip and was not included in the prohibited items list.

I rang Easyskip customer services and explained that the information contained on the website stated that plastertboard was ok to place in the skip, and suspected an error had been made regarding additional charges.

The lady I spoke to was disinterested and basically said it's in the t's & c's. She went on to say that if I didn't want to pay, I would have to empty the skip of all plasterboard.

No matter how much I explained that my decision to use Easyskip was based on the information included on the website, specifically stating that the materials I wanted to dispose of were acceptable, she was unwilling to listen.

The options she gave me were either pay the extra or, empty the plasterboard and dispose of it myself. She said the supplier would leave the skip on my drive until either of the options were implemented.

What kind of customer service is this? They provide a level of information to enable you to make a decision. Then, when issues are found with that information, they simply say, it's your issue, now pay up!

The reply from easySkip to this review is incorrect and misleading, hence I still advise avoiding this company at all costs!

Since my review, the website has been amended to remove any mention of plasterboard. Luckily, I have kept screenshots of the 14 yard skip description, AND the FAQ's on that page which EXPLICITLY stated plasterboard was acceptable. I also sent the screenshots to easySkip customer services when the issue first arose. At the time, the terms and conditions were not visible prior to completing the order, and were only received, via email, later.

It is disingenuous to suggest that the issue is mine, rather than accept they (easySkip) made a mistake, particularly as I provided all the evidence of THEIR mistake, from THEIR website to the customer services team on 12/8.

It would have been better customer service if they had simply acknowledged their website had errors, and has since been amended.

Given the poor experience with customer services, I also escalated to the senior management team. I wonder if they are aware of this attempted cover up ?

Avoid at all costs!!

4 days late. Then tried to take the skip away early, leaving us almost no time despite having paid for longer. Sent threatening texts and emails about coming to get the skip. Tried to blame the company they got the skip from, when they are the broker and it's their responsibility. Such a headache trying to sort it out. Disorganised-skip. Don't bother with them!!

Went booking the skip the website was easy follow with a quick delivery and likely to use them again later down the line

Hi Easyskip was - easy, easy to book on line, when we wanted to extend I called on the Monday morning as it was due to be collected on the Monday and they sorted it no problem! Highly recommend Easysjip

Communication was excellent before and on the day, skip turned up when they said with zero fuss. Collected it a couple of days after I was expecting which worked out nicely as the pressure was off to fill it quickly! Thank you, would use again.

Order the skip for our garden renovation, the skip arrived first thing in the morning and was taken away in the afternoon which is great as we only booked 3 days.

On their end they kept us always up to date with no issues. Booking process was simple including getting on street permit.

Will likely use again.

Shocking experience - AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Skip delivered late then collected after a few days (was meant to be with us for 2 weeks) leaving us with nothing and delaying our building work substantially. No customer service - closed on weekends etc. First time I’ve ever written a review on a firm, I am that shocked at how terrible they are!

The company did everything I asked for. I ordered a skip. They delivered on time and where I asked. When asked to, they removed the skip ahead of planned date. The process was seemless and hassle free. Thank you

A few days before the agreed date, I booked a skip that was due to be delivered on a Friday. Because of this, I took a day off work, paid someone to help me, and travelled around 60 miles to the property.
When we arrived, the skip had not been delivered. We knew the company had until 7:00 pm to complete the delivery, so we waited patiently. However, by 7:00 pm it still hadn't arrived. We tried to contact the company to find out what was happening, but nobody answered because customer services only operate until 5:00 pm. Honestly, I find it hard to believe that there isn't even one person available to deal with urgent customer enquiries outside normal office hours.
We waited until around 10:00 pm, and when it became obvious that the skip wasn't going to arrive, we had no choice but to drive back home. Throughout the entire weekend we had no idea what was happening or when the skip would actually be delivered. In the end, it arrived two or three days later. This meant I had to arrange and pay for help all over again, creating even more unnecessary expense.
I want to make it absolutely clear that none of these problems were my fault. The company admitted that the mistake was entirely theirs. As a direct result, I incurred costs of more than £250, including lost earnings, travel expenses and the cost of paying someone to help me.
Despite accepting responsibility for their mistake, the company offered me only £80 as a goodwill gesture. Naturally, I challenged this decision because I don't see why I should bear most of the financial loss when they admitted the fault was entirely theirs. After a long exchange of emails, I eventually accepted the £80 simply because I didn't want the matter to drag on any longer.
To be fair, the customer service staff I dealt with were polite and professional. My criticism is not aimed at them but at the management, who made the decision that £80 was sufficient compensation for the inconvenience and financial loss their mistake caused.
I would not use this company again and cannot recommend them. There are plenty of other skip hire companies available, and I sincerely hope they provide a more reliable service. I'm sharing my experience to warn others that mistakes like this can result in significant financial loss, wasted time and unnecessary stress.

Hired skip for two weeks, it was on my drive for nearly six. Made the mistake of putting into the skip some old railway sleepers from the garden. These were not mentioned in easyskips ts&cs but it still ended up with me paying and extra £252 to dispose of them. On the plus side the guy who came to eventually pick the skip up was really pleasant and helpful (the one star is his to be honest).

They gave me availability of 28th but changed it themself. Messed my whole job had to pay labour for free and now they are not giving a exact ETA saying it can be anytime between 7am to 7pm when i asked for exact time so i can be here asking for exta money £55 plus vat for morning delivery so fustrating worst skip hire experience in my whole career.

Very punctual with the timekeeping from dropping off and collecting the skip. The drivers were very polite and friendly. I would definitely use this skip hire company again.
