I have reported them to the BG police (not interested), I have reported them now to EU consumer protection office as they’ve falsified documents and presented as acceptance of damages (I’ve got video proof on what I signed).

Avoid or be prepared to lose your deposit.

Ancora non mi capacito di come facciano ancora a lavorare.
Sfortunatamente quando ho prenotato non ho controllato bene le recensioni, mi sono fidato un po’ troppo, ingenuamente.
Ho prenotato è pagato in anticipo un auto per 3 giorni salvo poi cancellare la prenotazione con un ben mese in anticipo (tutto secondo i loro T&C)

Avrei dovuto ricevere i miei soldi dopo 20 giorni lavorativi ( e già qui la cosa mi doveva far insospettire)
Però sia al telefono che per email mi hanno ribadito la stessa tempistica e ho pensato a quel punto che fosse normale (visto che non sono molto esperto nel mondo del noleggio)
Il termine massimo è scaduto già da un po’, e non solo non ho ricevuto i miei soldi, ma addirittura ne rispondono alle chiamate né ai messaggi e ne tanto meno alle e-mail, sono spariti senza dare un minimo di spiegazioni.
L’unica cosa che mi rimane da fare oltre a rivolgermi ad una associazione di consumatori e in seguito ad un avvocato, sporgendo relativa denuncia, e avvertire tutti in modo che nessun altro posso cadere vittima delle loro truffe.

Ich war bisher sehr zufrieden mit diesem Unternehmen. Wollte auch dieses Jahr eigentlich noch drei mal ein ein Fahrzeug mieten. Bekomme aber meine Kaution aus Januar ohne Grund nicht zurück. Nach etlichen Telefonaten heißt es immer die sei überwiesen worden und die senden mir den Beweis zu, aber sind alles leere Versprechen.

Do not use! The car was scratched and dented when I collected it. Smelt of smoke too.

They have charged me damages for dents that were already on the car. They have taken €1,500 from my card. I have time stamped pictures of these which I have emailed which have all been ignored. I have sent so many emails and haven’t heard anything back from them.

They have also taken a deposit which they have not returned.

Based on my experience, the rental did not match what I was reserved! I use them for many years and almost every time I get a different car! Bad attitude towards me from one of the employees at the terminal 2's office when I told him I did not get the vehicle for which I've paid! For me that was enough

SCAM ALERT. My friend and I are victims of a professional theft by this company. We rented two cars at Sofia Airport Terminal 2 on December 29th, 2025. A representative met us there, took our €1,000 deposit (€500 each), and now, four months later (late April 2026), they refuse to return it.
We have called and emailed dozens of times. Every single time they give us the same 'administrative delay' excuses or simply stop answering. We returned the vehicles in perfect condition, and there is absolutely no reason for this delay other than them keeping our money illegally.
If you are considering renting from them at Terminal 2: DON'T. You will lose your deposit. We are currently filing a formal complaint with the Bulgarian Commission for Consumer Protection (PZP) and the European Consumer Centre. This is a fraudulent business practice."

Ich hatte im September 2025 bei EasyRent am Flughafen Varna für 14 Tage ein Auto gemietet. Es dauerte 5 Monate bis ich die Kaution zurückbekommen hatte. Zuerst wird man vertröstet, dass es bis zu 28 Werktage dauern kann. Dann erhielt ich die Information, ich solle mich doch an meine Bank wenden. Meine Bank wiederum sagte mir, die Kaution wurde nicht geblockt (reserviert), sondern abgebucht. Auch Drohungen mit polizeilicher Anzeige und Rechtsanwalt halfen nichts. Es erfolgte keine Rückmeldung mehr seitens Easyrent. Ich machte dann eine Kreditkarten-Reklamation an meine Bank. Diese konnte dann auf Grundlage der Buchungsunterlagen und schadensfreier Rückgabe des Autos die Kaution direkt bei der Bank von Easyrent einfordern.
Ich kann von diesem Unternehmen nur abraten!

The company is a total scam. We received a car in a really poor condition having a lot of damages and scratches and we made a video which documents all of them in the moment of collecting the car. When we returned the car the worker signed that everything is correct and said that the deposit will be released but after 4 month it still haven't been refunded and when I contacted economybookings it turned out the Easy Rent Bulgaria claims that they noted a new damage on the car and they kept the whole deposit (1500€) because of that. We made a video which proofs that the damage was there in the moment of renting the car so simply the car rental just robbed us. The worker at the counter was also really unkind and it turned out the deposit is twice higher that it should be according to our booking. I would recommend to stay away of the company.
