As a professional tradesman
As a professional tradesman, I have dealt with many suppliers and service providers over the years, and unfortunately my experience with Ease Fix was extremely disappointing. I completed work in good faith and expected to be paid in accordance with our agreement. However, payment was not forthcoming, and I was repeatedly forced to chase for what was owed.
Communication was poor throughout, and I was left spending unnecessary time trying to resolve the matter. It was only after I made it clear that I would take further action to recover the outstanding money that the issue began to receive attention.
Based on my personal experience, I cannot recommend Ease Fix. I would advise other tradespeople to ensure they have clear written agreements in place and to keep detailed records of all work completed, invoices issued, and correspondence.

We take feedback seriously, but after reviewing our job records and communications, we must set the record straight:
- You abandoned the job site and failed to carry out the agreed inspection.
- Despite this, we paid you the agreed £95 call-out fee in full.
- The extra money you are demanding was never agreed upon. You are currently attempting to extort these funds from us in exchange for removing this review, all while subjecting our team to abusive language and threats.
EaseFix values professional tradespeople and fair pay, but we have zero tolerance for site abandonment, false claims, or the harassment of our staff.

We are disappointed to see this review, as at no stage did we refuse payment for your time.
As outlined during our discussions, the issue was a clear deviation from the agreed scope of works. You were instructed to replace three 22mm cam locks and a damaged drawer runner for £150. Instead, you adjusted the existing keeps without replacing the locks, and left the drawer runner unreplaced, meaning the job was not fully completed.
When you revised your invoice to £100, our team internally approved that payment to recognize your time on-site and maintain a good relationship. We were attempting to discuss how to handle the outstanding runner replacement and finalize your £100 payment when you unfortunately cut off communication and blocked our team's contact number.
We have always been, and still are, ready to resolve the issue as long as you reach out to us, so we can work together on this.

I was recently contacted by Easefix for…
I was recently contacted by Easefix for a late afternoon emergency call-out to a restaurant where a breaker was repeatedly tripping. Initially, they asked me to attend free of charge to provide a quote. I explained to the manager that a tripping breaker may simply require diagnosis rather than repair work, so they agreed to a £70 call-out fee, which I felt was reasonable given the time of day.
After attending site, I diagnosed the fault as an appliance overloading the circuit and temporarily rectified the issue. I then informed Easefix that the permanent solution would be to install an additional circuit and submitted a quotation.
I was then told they wanted to proceed with the additional work but that they would not be paying my call-out invoice because the repair work would "cover it." I explained that the call-out had already been agreed and that I was happy not to carry out the additional work if they preferred to pay another contractor. They eventually agreed to pay a reduced call-out charge, and I proceeded with the installation after they accepted my quotation.
Throughout the process, Easefix repeatedly contacted me by phone and WhatsApp requesting confirmation of installation dates and updates. Once the work was completed, they continued chasing for photographs and evidence of completion. After I provided everything requested, they confirmed where to send my invoice and advised it would be paid within seven days.
The payment deadline passed with no payment. I followed up by email and received only a response copying in their accounts department. I sent another reminder ten days later and received no reply. I have also contacted their legal email address without receiving any response.
Contractors are expected to respond quickly and complete work promptly when customers need urgent assistance. It is reasonable to expect agreed invoices to be paid promptly in return.
Hopefully this is simply an oversight, but after reading other Google reviews describing similar experiences, I feel it is important to share mine. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Easefix.
Update to my review.
They have now completed the payment and up to today have asked me twice to remove my reviews.
Easefix sent me the following message

Following up on the negative feedback, we were glad to quickly address your concerns, clear the pending dues, and reach a mutual agreement regarding your Google and Trustpilot reviews.
Because the initial issue has been fully resolved, the current reviews no longer accurately reflect your experience or the status of our account. While we entirely respect your right to share your honest feedback, we kindly ask that you fulfill your part of our agreement by either removing the reviews or updating the ratings to 3 or 4 stars and mention that a resolution was reached, so they reflect the reality.
Leaving an outdated negative review online can unfortunately be misleading and damaging to our reputation. We appreciate your cooperation in wrapping this matter up.

I was on holiday and our tenant had problems with waste pipe blockage! I suddenly remembered having met this company at a property event, which advertised that they could find local tradespeople at a reasonable cost who can carry out the work well. I phoned the 0800 number and left a message then went on their website and described the scope of work. I had a response from Kane who told me that he’s handling the case then got back to me very soon with a plumber who did an excellent job, that cheered my tenant up and she was able to use the kitchen sink, bath and bathroom sink again! Thanks so much Kane for the dedicated hard work and solving the problem quickly and efficiently!

Ease fix way of life
I have been working with Easefix for some time now, and I would like to share some feedback regarding my experience.
My main point of contact is Simon, and I find him to be very helpful, polite, and an excellent communicator. Regarding payments, while a couple of invoices were missed on their due dates, I was kept well-informed throughout the process until they were settled.
I also utilize MyBuilder, where I first encountered Easefix, and I find it to be an effective platform for leads. I look forward to building a long-lasting partnership with Simon and the Easefix team.
