Baroque descant recorder
I came for a descant recorder at baroque pitch. The staff were incredibly helpful, there was lots to choose from, and l had quiet helpful direction as l made up my mind. I am thrilled with my new recorder.

Huge range of music and instruments. We are lucky enough to live near one of the shops and they are so helpful and enthusiastic. They didn’t have what we were after but the gift card online option has proved perfect so we can order from Saltaire.

Quick fix of a broken key
It was during the Recorder Summer School in Yorkshire this summer, I had a little damage on my tenor recorder and it was repaired within 24 hours.

I initially thought that it was playing flat but I was totally wrong ! I had the head unnecessarily pulled out.

Arrived promptly. I've had some problems with DHL in the past but everything went smoothly. Kit looks amazing. Lots of info and a year's subscription to the Lute Society. Even a CD enclosed. Now the hard bit starts!

I made a mistake and ordered the wrong recorder.
I made a mistake and ordered the wrong recorder but with the help of Alfie from Early Music the mix-up was able to be rectified. The right recorder is now in the post and the wrongly ordered instrument is also in the post being returned. The recorder I ordered is a Terry Mann soprano and the sopranino that I mistakenly ordered was of the most beautiful quality, I am really impressed and cannot wait to get the soprano. So a profound apology goes to Alfie and Early Music and hopefully this review will make up for the confusion. Kindest regards, Barbara Speed, Australia
