Nix 9 not for me
I have been using DXO since you took over NiK, and to be honest I use NiK when it first came on the market. I was thinking about upgrading to the 9 but after trying to use the 30 day trail I said forget it for me it was a nightmare . That 30 day was 1 1/2 day of pure madness everytime I would try to see what was new and apply it to something it send me on loop and ask do you want to upgrade. That's it for me I'll keep my old Nik and make it work.
I will say the tech team were so nice and it not them just the whole thing looping is a turn off. I wanted to try a few other app but they too didn't work for me but that might have to do with the upgrades from Apple and my Mac so I'm holding off on any thing at this time. for me if you offer a 30 day trail stop the loops how can anyone test it.
I really love nik sorry it didn't work for me. this time I'm not big on Ai so when this turn up side down maybe I'll try the next Nik but for now I'll stand on old stand by.

Excellent post processing software.
I think the images I have processed in Dxo photolab 9 are better than the same images processed in Lightroom. The noise reduction is awesome, and the ai selections are excellent. I really miss the removal tool and find it takes me much longer to edit even after using it for a few months.

Pure Raw 6.5 fixed.
Pure Raw 6.5 had issues, but happy to report that 6.5.1 has addressed these.
In my experience this is still the best raw denoising software available.

Ich wollte ein Produkt das man nur ein mal kauft und dann besitzt.
Photo Lab 9 bietet mir alle Möglichkeiten die RAW Bilder von meiner Kamera und andere Bilder perfekt zu bearbeiten.
Die Masken Bearbeitung und das Denoising von hohen ISO Werten ist unübertroffen.
Zudem war der Kontakt zum Support Team großartig. Sie haben mein Problem schnell und kompetent gelöst.

I have been using DxO for more than 10 years
I have been using DxO for more than 10 years and I am satisfied with it. I appreciate using a software from a company that is independent of major global trusts. I don't want to spend hours editing on my Raw files. DxO allows me a rather light post-production work. I admit that for many years I have not looked at the competition because the product satisfies me. It evolves every year to stay up to date with the latest technological advances. Of course there would be ergonomic improvements to be made. Maybe it will come with time.
I appreciate the bridge between DxO Lab and the Nik Collection that I use quite often, especially SilverEfex. On this subject, a remark on the HDR module whose limits I have often reached, it needs a deep update. A panoramic creation tool would also be missing in the DxO set, it would be a top. It's a shame because there was a French tools who was bought by an American and is no longer updated (a bit the same story as the Nik collection).
On the cost side, DxO highlights a life-long license purchase, but the almost imperative annual update following the increasingly rapid technological advance, ends up representing a cost equivalent to a monthly subscription among competitors. It would be nice if DxO practiced discounts for its most loyal customers.

Suite à l’impossibilité d’exporter mes…
Suite à l’impossibilité d’exporter mes fichiers ( tiff , jpeg,…) traités avec le logiciel DxO photo lab, j’ai contacté son service assistance Premium qui promet une assistance 24/24 7 jours /7 , moyennant un abonnement payant de un an auquel j’ai souscrit.
J’ai contacté ce service assistance le 24 juillet 2026 , qui m’a demandé tout un questionnaire concernant mon matériel la façon dont je travaillais et des fichiers raw , tiff et autres afin de les analyser.
Après une semaine de relances, on m’a informé que le sujet était entre les mains d’un service spécialisé.
Après de nouvelles relances, on m’a demandé de renvoyer les mêmes fichiers qui ont été comme les autres transféré au service spécialisé.
Nous sommes le 17 Août 2026 et je suis toujours en panne alors que je dois participer très prochainement à une exposition.
Je déconseille fortement ce logiciel certes puissant quand il fonctionne, mais sommes toutes peu fiable ;L’assistance premium 24/24 est un leurre marketing dont il faut se méfier.

Nous regrettons que l’accompagnement apporté dans le cadre du support Premium, qui vous avait été offert lors de votre achat à l’occasion des fêtes de fin d’année 2025, n’ait pas répondu à vos attentes.
Après analyse approfondie de vos fichiers, notre expert produit a identifié l’origine du problème : une virgule manquante dans la valeur renseignée dans la fenêtre d’export avait entraîné des dimensions de sortie extrêmement élevées. Cela expliquait à la fois la taille inhabituelle des fichiers JPEG et l’échec des exports TIFF. Une solution vous a depuis été communiquée par notre équipe.
Nous regrettons sincèrement que cette analyse ait pris autant de temps.
Nous espérons pouvoir regagner votre confiance.

The software is intuitive and easy to use, with useful tooltips. It does an excellent job. I run most of my important photos through it. More presets would be nice to have out of the box.
