Dudukhouse Arvostelua

I recently received a G duduk from Vamelo in Armenia, and I can honestly say this instrument exceeded my expectations in every way.

The craftsmanship is outstanding. The apricot wood is beautifully selected, evenly grained, and finished with care. The bore feels balanced and precise, and the instrument has a natural weight and presence in the hands — substantial yet comfortable.

The tone of this G duduk is absolutely stunning. It has that deep, velvety warmth that makes the lower register feel almost vocal — rich, prayerful, and haunting. The mid and upper registers remain smooth and focused without thinning out. It carries beautifully while still maintaining that intimate, breath-infused character that makes the duduk so special.

Response is excellent. It speaks easily at soft dynamics and opens up effortlessly when you lean into it. The intonation is stable across the range, and the reed pairing was clearly matched with care — playable right out of the case with no frustration.

As a musician, I value instruments that feel alive, and this duduk truly feels like it has a voice of its own.

Communication and packaging were professional and thoughtful. It’s clear that Vamelo builds instruments with respect for Armenian tradition and genuine love for the craft.

If you’re looking for an authentic G duduk with depth, warmth, and expressive potential, I highly recommend Vamelo. This is a beautiful instrument in every sense.

I ordered the Fingering Chart. That was OK.

Dudukhouse offered excellent customer support! I am a student, and they offered me a student discount for my first duduk! I was very grateful. The shipping was perfect as well, and the packaging was done properly, so no damage to the duduk or reed occurred. The duduk itself is amazing, and the sound quality is beautiful. If you are looking to buy your first duduk or have any questions, I highly recommend Dudukhouse!

Fairly quick delivery. I had to cover customs charges for my country. Over all excellent.

They keep word and are very helpful... I bought reeds and something went wrong with UPS... They immediately took action. The reeds came and they are very good!

Envoi rapide et instrument qui correspond parfaitement à la qualité promise.

Excellent material and service.

Méthode reçue très rapidement.

I ordered it from India and initially had mixed feelings about how it would go. However, the experience was very good..I received the duduk at my home within a week via the FedEx option

Great experience and I know my best friend will enjoy the book. She just brought a Duduk recently and dhe loves it.

Thank you

I received a gift certificate that I was not suppose to see until Christmas. I saw it in my email and asked about. So I chose a duduk that was on sale in case it wouldn't be at Christmas. But when it arrived, I only got to briefly examine it to make sure it arrived safely. I reluctantly handed it over to be wrapped and opened at Christmas. LOL From what I saw and briefly played, it is far superior to a cheap one I purchased on Etsy. Come on, Santa, deliver the goods LOL

Excellent systems for purchase and delivery
