Dubarry of Ireland Arvostelua 404

I have just returned home from what can only be described as a fractious encounter with the manager of the Cheltenham branch. I bought a "top of the range” coat and on getting it home found a couple of buttons were loose. If my review was of my first return visit then it would be 5* as even though I was only asking for the buttons to be fixed, the sales assistant offered to replace the item. However getting the replacement home I found that on both sleeves the lining was so loose that it stuck out from underneath the cuffs whilst wearing.

I took it back today and the manageress made a number of claims. 1: That as they had already exchanged the product I was no longer entitled to a warranty. 2: That as I had left the shop with a faulty product I was no longer entitled to a warranty. 3: As I had worn the product (once) I was no longer entitled to a warranty. 4: That the product wasn't defective even though she'd "sold hundreds of these items and never seen this happened before". 5: That shop staff suggesting "a family member who was good with a needle could stitch it up" wasn't an admission of the item being faulty. And overall the way she spoke to me was insulting and hugely patronising.

I have purchased decal product from Dubarry over the years and the quality and service is exceptional. I recently noticed a mark on an item and after sending an email with an image they immediately sent a replacement. There was not questioning. Great customer service from Penny and the team.

A fantastic, friendly and efficient service. Arranged collection and return of boots that were too tight. Did whatever they do and boots fit fantastically well now.

Draag sinds 2009 Dubarry laarzen, zwart en bruin. Beide zijn ruim 9 jaar meegegaan. Een maal de zool laten vervangen. Laarzen moeten wel gedragen en verzorgd worden anders drogen ze uit. Maar je kunt er heel lang mee doen. Inmiddels aan mn derde paar Roundstone, deze keer. Onlangs jas gekocht waarbij de rits ging haperen. Probleem gemeld en super netjes afgewikkeld. Dubarry heeft met twee weken een vervanging gestuurd.

I purchased a jacket in early Jan from the new Sloane Square location, I found Flory and her team so incredibly accommodating, I had a small issue with my jacket and Flory saw to the concern immediately and a replacement jacket was with me within a week, I received frequent updates from Dubarry reassuring me that the issue was being seen to.

I can’t thank her and the team enough!

I recently bought boots from Dubbary of Ireland, and I’m beyond impressed. The leather is top-quality, the fit is perfect, and they’re incredibly comfortable. What really stood out was the exceptional customer service – Flory was friendly and very helpful, ensuring I got exactly what I needed. Recently bought a pair of mens boots (in a sale) and after 3 days the sole came apart , contacted dubarry directly (fully aware I didn't have the contract with them as purchasd from a show shop) to eliminate one party as I thought it would be easier to deal with directly, explain the fault, express my surprise as we've been using dubarry shoes for years, well this is the complete opposite of what happened, not interested in what I had to say , not interested in their long term customer care , at one point actually said to me ....I found the man very rude , dismissive and with a complete lack of customer care ....I was just an annoying person he had to deal with that day . It didn't stop there , I went to return said faulty boots (after 3 days wear ) and the lady in the shoe shop ....said yes I know he'd contacted them to tell them ( what I don't know !) Left it with show shop to be sent back to dubarry , who didn't replace. Shocking level of integrity regarding their said quality brand , well they didn't stand by their faults in the end . I've seen dubarry in a new light. The team needs training regarding customer relations, there's lots of other quality brands similar, don't take your customers for granted dubarry . Very disappointing experience which has left a sour taste

The Offaly Ankle Boot are also a quality boot, incredibly comfortable and look great.

Had my Dubarry Galway boots about four years and they’ve only been worn on several occasions, due to illness. Have worn them twice recently and they have perished under the sole. Which has become detached from the actual boot.
My cobbler shook his head, tutted and said ‘not another pair’ ? He showed me a box with 4 pairs of identical boots in the same state!!! Apparently one lady was offered a 10% discount on another pair!
Why would you buy any more?? I’m not surprised the Dubarry specialist repairers are flat out busy! Such a terrible indictment for what is claimed to be a ‘quality’ product at £350. Hardly a glowing recommendation is it Dubarry?

Just to make people aware don't care for your boots. Wear them all the time and god forbid you have a problem anything over year old they say out of warranty, excuse after excuse. You send them photos with the sole hanging off I was told as i kept in in a box and only worm them in the winter, they were not used enough. Can't win not matter. The last time I buy from Dubarry.com

Had the priviledge to deal with Amber on the Dubarry Customer Service Team. She dealt with my query and it was handled professionally and resolved to my complete satisfaction. Other companies should take a course from Dubarry on how provide a service that matches the quality of the products that they sell.

Amazing customer service. It’s a new location for the store but the team was amazing and very accommodating. I had an issue with a coat I purchased and they went above and beyond to help me resolve the issue. A truly high quality store and experience! Love their stuff. Highly recommend.

Recent visit to the new Sloane Square store was delightful. Highly recommended. They even helped me with a minor repair on a jacket I’d brought previously from them. Highly recommend Dubarry for all your outdoor pursuits and the best slippers ever.

Excellent customer service, I had a problem with the soles on my Dubarry Ultima sailing boots, Amber in the customer services team was very helpful and they eventually replaced them with a brand new pair of boots for me. Thank you.

De “vroegere” Dubarrys waren fantastisch. Ook de maatvoering, halve maten!! De nieuwe lijn is heel erg slecht. Zolen scheuren, natte koude voeten. Maatvoering slecht. Ik draag 37, maar van Dubarry 37,5. Niet meer verkrijgbaar. Ik moest een 38 nemen . Met extra binnenzool om op te vullen. Maar rond enkel te wijd, dus je sleept iets mee. Materiaal van schacht is ook anders. €429!!!!!! Nooit meer dus.

My first pair of Wexford boots are now over ten years old and still going strong. I bought a second pair for less rough use and after two outings the soles separated. I paid £125 for Dubarry repairs. Last weekend the soles separated again so they’re in the bin. The quality of construction has deteriorated significantly and I will never buy Dubarry again.

What fabulous customer service. I own several Dubarry items of clothing and boots. Find them practical and stylish. I have the most amazing coat for special events and occasions, unfortunately I had lost a button and contacted Dubarry. They replied immediately and after verifying what style posted replacement buttons. Many thanks Dubarry.

I am amazed at the poor quality of the boots. I have a pair of Galway boots which I have looked after as they were so expensive. I was going to wear them recently and the midsole has disintegrated and the sole just flaps around on both boots. I hear from other reviews on the internet that this is a common fault. Shame on you Dubarry, there is a 'Dubarry authorised repair partner' charging £125 - £155 to repair them. That's a good scam - sell a pair of inferior very expensive boots (£379 in John Lewis) knowing that the midsole is going to disintegrate, then set up an expensive repair facility. I have 30 year old £20 boots that haven't disintegrated. Don't waste your money on theses, there are cheaper equivalent looking boots that will last longer. So, do I waste my £379 and throw them away, or Pay £125+ to have them repaired for the same to happen again in a couple of years. Appalling.

1st class customer service.
I had to send back the boots that I bought to be replaced, they received them back on Monday 25th. November on Tuesday 26th November my replacement boots arrived, incredible turnaround time, you can’t get better than that!!
The boots are wonderful so comfortable and the size is spot on so you can buy with complete confidence from Dubarry of Ireland and so nice to be able to phone and get to talk to a kind understanding person!
