I rate 5 stars for the amazing service Haris has provided to me these past few days. I personally thought that this would’ve been a great opportunity to go to Umrah on this really affordable price but that wasn’t the plan. I would rate 5 stars for Dua Travels and I hope one day I will do my umrah with them. Special thanks to Haris for the amazing service.

I recently travelled for Umrah with Dua Travels and had a very positive experience. From the beginning, the team was very helpful and responsive, answering all of our questions and guiding us through the whole process. They made the booking and visa arrangements simple and stress-free.

Everything throughout the journey was well organised, including the flights, hotels, and transport. In Makkah we stayed at Swissotel Al Maqam, which was very comfortable and in a great location close to the Haram. In Madinah we stayed at Pullman ZamZam, which was also an excellent hotel with great service and very convenient for visiting Masjid Al Nabawi.

What stood out most was the communication and support throughout the trip. The team was always available if we needed assistance and made sure everything ran smoothly.Harris the agent whom i booked with was excellent and helped me every step of the way, thank you Harris will 110% book with you in the future .

Overall, I would highly recommend Dua Travels to anyone planning their Umrah. They provided a reliable and well-organised service that allowed us to focus on our spiritual journey without worrying about travel arrangements.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Review of Dua Travels – My Umrah Experience

I first came across Dua Travels on Google while searching for Umrah packages, and from the very first interaction, the service stood out.

Booking Process

I dealt directly with Ibrahim, and he was prompt and transparent from the beginning. He provided multiple package options with clear pricing and dates, which made it easy to compare and decide.

This trip was personal for us as we specifically wanted to spend 7 days close to Ramadan. Ibrahim worked with us and we settled on the first week of Ramadan, which was perfect.

There was slight pressure to secure the flight payment within a couple of days (which is understandable due to fluctuating flight prices), but the hotel payments were flexible and allowed to be paid in instalments over the following weeks. That flexibility made a big difference and felt fair.

Overall, the package felt tailored to us rather than generic.

Communication

Everything was handled online via WhatsApp, which honestly made things very easy.

Ibrahim was always contactable, even when I was probably being an “over-questioning” customer. Every query was answered quickly and professionally. Whenever I asked about documentation, he either supplied it immediately or clearly explained when it would be available.

I genuinely felt looked after rather than just processed as another booking reference.

Flights – Turkish Airlines

We flew with Turkish Airlines.
• Outbound flight times were good.
• Returning from Madinah at 22:00 and landing at 9:00 meant we lost a final night’s rest, but honestly we were exhausted anyway!
• No ticket issues at all.
• Seats were not pre-booked, but when checking in on the Turkish Airlines app, my wife and I were automatically seated together.
• Luggage allowance was excellent: 23kg x 2 bags each plus 8kg cabin baggage each — more than enough.

Nothing changed from the original plan, which I really appreciated. Everything ran exactly as booked.

Visa Process

Dua Travels handled the full visa process with zero complications.

I simply provided my details and everything was sorted smoothly. Entry into Saudi was stress-free with no issues whatsoever. Perfect service here.

Hotels

Makkah – voco Makkah
The hotel itself was lovely and felt premium. Rooms were cleaned daily, staff were excellent, and complimentary water was provided.

The only downside was distance — it’s a longer walk to the Haram, which I didn’t mind personally (got my steps in!), but if travelling with my wife again I may choose something closer.

One funny note: we were given a room with four single beds 😂 slightly unusual for a married couple, but it didn’t affect the overall stay.

I would stay there again — especially with a group of friends.

Madinah – Saja Al Madinah (by Warwick)
This hotel was much closer to Masjid Nabawi — around a 5–10 minute walk at most.

Very clean, comfortable, and professional. The hotel is slightly older inside, but service was excellent. After hearing about our four single beds in Makkah, they kindly upgraded us to a king room on the top floor, which was a really nice touch — especially considering how busy it was during Ramadan.

Transfers

Transfers were smooth and well organised.
• Drivers messaged me via WhatsApp the day before to confirm.
• The local transport company also stayed in touch in case of any issues.
• We had a large van from Jeddah to Makkah.
• A comfortable Toyota sedan from Makkah to Madinah, with stops for Asr prayer and Iftar.
• For the return to Madinah airport, although we had booked a sedan, they upgraded us to a van free of charge due to luggage — another appreciated touch.

There was minor waiting around at times, but given it was Ramadan and extremely busy on the ground, it was completely understandable.

On-the-Ground Support

The best compliment I can give is this:

While in Saudi, I didn’t need them at all.

Everything was executed exactly as planned. Ibrahim checked in, but the organisation was so smooth that there were no problems to resolve.

That says everything.

Value for Money

Was it the absolute cheapest option available? Probably not.

Did it feel overpriced? Not at all.

It felt correctly priced for a personalised, smooth, stress-free experience. Compared to what I’ve heard from others, this felt like strong value for money.

Final Verdict

I would 1000% use Dua Travels again and I’m already looking forward to seeing what they can arrange for a group of friends next year, inshaAllah.

Their packages feel personalised and suitable for anyone — couples, first-timers, or group bookings.

The umrah arranged through Dua Travels was superb. The accommodation and transport were brilliant. Most of the journey was trouble free and even when we did need assistance, Dua Travels were generally very responsive on WhatsApp. Two things come to mind that might help future bookings.

1) there should be an option for English speaking Ziyarat visits, it was okay me and my wife, but the kids struggled to fully understand what was being said.
2) on occasion, the taxis were quite late, so it may that you provide a time of 30 mins before you actually want to depart. The taxis were always about 30 mins late of the actual time.

That being said, the experience was superb and Dua Travels made this happen. I will be letting my friends and family know about the service too, so they may also have a trouble free Umrah just as I did.A big thanks to brother Ibrahim.
