Terrible hiring agency wanted me to start on the 7th I explained I was busy on the 8th so should start on 11th begging of the next. They told me to start on 7th and have 8th off only to later complain I have already had a day off not even one week into work. Jemma brown in the carisle centre is a joke the way she spoke to me and her attitude was terribly unprofessional and ridiculous can’t believe she is in a position to serve potential clients. Will not ever be returning to this agency. Left a business short staffed unfortunately because agency was so awful to deal with.

I worked for driver hair for 6 months and I never get a full week. I tried to take my holiday and I understand that I don't have. when I call them thy told me they paid to me evry week. I was surprised to find out that they lied to me about my hourly wage, as I was working minimum wage and they added the difference from my holiday. To me, cheating someone is pure theft and fraud.when I asked for my contract they stopped giving me work for two weeks and finally sent me a p45 without any warning .I highly recommend not working with them.

The company I work for has been using Driver Hire Motherwell for quite a few years, always very helpful, all the staff members are very friendly and polite, never want to let you down, always check in regularly, even pop in to the office to make sure their service is up to their high standard.
The quality of drivers are also of a higher standard compared to other agencies we have used, all the drivers know what to expect when they come onto site.

Looks like a scam

Wolverhampton address there is a different company there, driver hire DO NOT excist at 4-5 Victoria Square Wolverhampton

Phone number goes through to CANNOCK 01543 (not Wolverhampton) and no- one ever answers the phone.

Could they be running a scam to get people details? I don't know but it makes me wonder

Constant marketing emails and cold calls saying they are 24/7 from Driver Hire Nottingham. As soon as we send a request a week in advance to book a driver we are ignored leaving us without staffing. Not even an apology!

We use Driver hire Nottingham and they are excellent. Even at short notice they can get us the cover we need. Lizzie is lovely and always brightens my day on the phone. If you need a driver in the Notts area then no need to look much further than Driver hire Nottingham

I called Driver hire in the morning and got an appointment for the afternoon. After talking with the team for a short interview they placed me straight away and I started working on the Monday. They communicate when necessary.. otherwise they leave you to do your job. Money has always been paid on time. I’ve also needed time off due to personal reasons and they have been very understanding and helpful. Overall good experience.

I contacted different DH offices about vacancies and, finally, heard back from an agent in the Chesterfield & Worksop offices.
I explained my interest in the position and was asked to complete the online registration - I did so the same day and received a Terms of Engagement from them.

Three days later, and having heard nothing from the office despite emails and phone calls - I gave up expecting to hear from them.

Seven days after completing the online application, I received a phone call from the agent who said, similar to, "You never uploaded your documents so we couldn't go ahead."
I knew I had, but gave them the benefit of the doubt. I resent all documents via Whatsapp and email - being promised a job starting the next day "as soon as you send over I will send confirmation for this"

Again, no further contact.

The next day, I rang multiple times, eventually speaking to the agent who, this time, said "Oh, you never confirmed you wanted the job so it's gone to someone else".
After explaining that I'm still interested in working for them, the agent told me to wait for a call back within 30 minutes as he had a client looking for someone "to start tomorrow".
It's now 20:23 at night and still no information - not even a "sorry, but no."

I feel like I've been scammed by an organisation who want employee profiles on their books to lure in prospective companies but have no real jobs on offer.

Worked with the Northampton team now for close on 3 years. Nice people, decent assignments and very easy to get on with.

I found myself without full time employment and started working for this agency as a temporary measure. This was around a year and a half ago now and I very rarely have less than 4 days work a week.

They pay on time and are accurate with their payments too.
I haven't gone back into full time employment yet as I like the variety of work and the freedom to take holidays as and when I want them not when a company says I can.

Reliable and consistent agency, would highly recommend.

Phone rang & rang finally answered guy in Bradford was covering chesterfield areas calls took my details nobody rang me back. Obviously ghost jobs or just a rubbish company. Don't understand companies wanting drivers & not returning phonecalls. Shame on you driverhire chesterfield.
