I can't recommend Craig highly enough. When I first started learning to drive, I was absolutely petrified of being on the roads. Thanks to Craig's calm, patient approach, my confidence grew with every lesson.

He helped me understand road signs, speed limits, and how to deal with different driving situations, all while making safety the top priority. No matter how nervous I felt or how many questions I asked, he was always incredibly patient, reassuring, and supportive.

Craig didn't just teach me how to pass my test, he taught me how to be a safe, confident driver. If you're someone who feels anxious about driving or lacks confidence behind the wheel, I genuinely couldn't recommend Craig more. He's an excellent instructor who really takes the time to help you succeed.

I would recommend driving with drewmatic! Angie my instructor was very patient and made me feel confident in the car. She has a great way of teaching for those who are nervous when learning and is very encouraging! I couldn’t have passed without her.

I had such a positive experience learning to drive with Ian from Drewmatic.
I was a very nervous driver, and had given up lessons previously about 13 years ago.
Ian was so patient with me, letting me take things at my own pace, but provided me with enough challenge to build up my confidence.
From dreading every lesson, I came to enjoy my weekly lessons with Ian, relaxing into driving.

Passed today and I am over the moon! I could not of done this without Craig Pattison at Drewmatic! I started learning but later in life (35) and had little confidence, Craig game me all the skills I needed to pass and was patient throughout.

My overall experience with drewmatic was fantastic. Had my first lesson the same week I enquired, my driving instructor Craig was brilliant, very patient and clear explanations helped me a great deal and I would happily recommend Craig and drewmatic to anyone looking to learn to drive automatic.

I passed my driving test July 2024 all thanks to Craig Pattison. After struggling to find an instructor who suited me, I was close to giving up, but I’m so glad I didn’t.
Craig is an incredibly patient, understanding, and kind person who truly wants the best for all of his learners. I genuinely couldn’t have asked for a better learning experience.

My driving instructor was Craig Pattison and I would highly recommend. I did manual before coming to automatic and I couldn’t seem to get the hang of manual.then coming to Craig it really changed my driving experience I wouldn’t of been able to pass my test without him.

I was so nervous going back into driving after having an awful experience being screamed at previously by an instructor elsewhere. It had severely knocked my confidence and took me nearly 10years to even consider getting back into attempting driving. I’m so pleased that I found drewmatic and had Craig as my instructor. He was so good into making me feel at ease and calm. If I ever made a mistake he calmly explained how I’d either fix it or what I should have done. he listened to my concerns always taking into consideration how I felt but supporting me to conquer those worries. My hatred of roundabouts never really stopped but I was able to do them without worrying or stressing! I’m so pleased and over the moon, I passed first time no minors. Thanks you again for everything!

My instructor Craig was very patient with me as a nervous learner, and thanks to his instruction I was able to pass first time. This would never have happened without Craig and Drewmatic. This is the best place to go for automatic driving lessons in the north east!

I had a great experience with Drewmatic, especially with my instructor, Clint. After going through three different teachers, I honestly felt like I just wasn’t teachable and might never pass. But Clint completely changed that for me.

He’s incredibly patient, clear, and knows how to explain things in a way that actually makes sense. He helped build my confidence behind the wheel and worked through the areas I struggled with until I finally got it right. Thanks to his teaching, I passed my test!

If you’re nervous about driving or feel stuck, I highly recommend asking for Clint. He’s an excellent teacher who really cares about helping his students succeed.

I would highly recommend Angie at drewmatic I had zero confidence when I started my lessons i suffer really bad with anxiety and I doubted myself so much but she put me at ease every single lesson.I’ve previously had driving lessons years back and didn’t enjoy the experience at all but it’s been the total opposite with Angie and this is down to how calm and friendly she is.I will be forever grateful for all of your guidance to get me through my test.

I had a really great experience learning to drive with Angie at Drewmatic and couldn't have asked for a better instructor. I had trouble finding anyone in Durham available but Drewmatic responded quickly and got me set up with a time that worked for me. I’d failed my test before and was quite anxious about starting again, but Angie was always patient, calm and really clear when explaining things.

She made me feel comfortable asking questions and helped me understand what I was doing. She’s very attentive on the road and focused on safety. I felt prepared for my test and passed first time this time around. I’d definitely recommend Angie and Drewmatic to anyone looking for a supportive and professional instructor.
