Disappointed
The lid was smashed but thanks to the good number of ice packs everything was still nice and cold.
Sadly despite this the scallops were not the best, the vac packing had squashed them (one of the roes had even burst)and they tasted a bit stale, I have had far better.
The crab was had just 2 days left on use by date and it showed, it had very little taste and no sweetness.

Hi Guy,
We’re genuinely disappointed to read this, especially as we didn’t receive any email or call from you to give us a chance to put things right directly. We take a lot of care in packing orders with multiple ice packs to keep everything in top condition, and it’s good to hear that part worked well.
If the lid arrived damaged, that’s something we could have resolved quickly had we been notified — the same goes for any concerns about the seafood quality. All of our products are packed fresh and dispatched with clear use-by dates, and any issues are always handled swiftly when customers reach out.
We’d have appreciated the opportunity to fix this for you before seeing it here. If you’d still like to discuss it properly, please contact us directly at sales@drcollinfish.co.uk

Sorry but the langoustines were mushy
Sorry but the langoustines were mushy, there wasn’t much to the lobster, it was very small for £21, the dressed crab was good though. I so much wanted to love everything. We will be back and will try uncooked next time. I think it’s the cooking then freezing process does this, I had forgotten and should know better.

Hi Susan,
Thank you for your honest feedback. We’re sorry to hear the langoustines and lobster didn’t meet your expectations on this occasion. We always aim to provide the best possible quality and value, so it’s disappointing to learn we fell short for you.
We’re glad to hear you enjoyed the dressed crab, and we appreciate your understanding about how the cooking and freezing process can sometimes affect texture. We’d love for you to try our uncooked options next time, as many of our customers find they offer a different experience.
If you ever have an issue with an order in future, please don’t hesitate to email us directly — we’ll always do our best to put things right straight away. Your feedback is valuable to us, and we look forward to welcoming you back again soon.
Best regards,
