Agressive rude staff
Awful store(Mahon, Cork), staff treat customers like dirt, I witnessed a garden centre staff member agressively verbally abuse and talk down to an elderly man today just because he had to go for bar codes for items on the man's trolly. He came back without all the barcodes and had to go off again. The poor man was waiting for about 40 minutes to purchase his items and in the end had to leave without them. Its not that man's fault that B&Q don't have barcodes on their products. The man was parked in a disabled parking space, perhaps he wasn't able to wait due to ill health. The elderly man graciously thanked the girl at the till for her help before he left the store without his purchases. I myself had a similar experience a few weeks ago and I know that other people have also had a poor experience at this store.
I'll personally never shop there again!!
Every single time I order a click and…
Every single time I order a click and collect item and it tells me its ready, I show up and after 10 - 20 minutes someone shows up with it on a trolley. Once or twice I had to help staff find the item in the store. When I get a message telling me its ready for click and collect that means it is meant to be there. B&Q Liffey Valley is an atrocious store to shop at.

Very poor
Did a click & collect order for 2 different products. One was on 3 for 2, the other 4 for 3. Got a confirmation that the order was ready but some items were unavailable. Turned out they only had 2 of the “3 for2” and 2 of the “4 for 3” so ultimately they offers weren’t honoured. Can’t cancel a click & collect order so had to wait 7 days for it to auto cancel
Floor staff are very helpfull but...
Floor staff are very helpful and I would have given a 5 star rating but for the difficult customer voucher setup. I was given a customer card recently, which resulted in me being credited with 5 euro as a new customer. But no joined up thinking is involved with this process. Instead of having my credits being credited to my loyalty card, I have to get a PC and a printer and print off a paper voucher for all credits awarded, which is a big big waste of paper, ink and time. Also credits aren't cumulative. If you have say 2 credits like one for 5 euro and another for 3 euro as I currently have, I have to get both printed but can only use one voucher per visit. Come on B&Q, I know you can do better than this to streamline you great customer experience.

I'm giving them 3 stars as they are a good store and have everything....if you visit in person.
However, don't order anything online, as this is the second time I did a click and collect and they took my money, then cancelled the order.
Multiple mistakes with kitchen orders & refunds
Recently decided to update B&Q kitchen at B&Q Waterford (only open about 6 months) with new doors, end panels, plinths, pelmets etc. Multiple mistakes (wrong items sent, items delayed, items sent to wrong address & marked delivered, incorrect or missing delivery information), leading to repeated reorders and substantial delays. Also over-charged on mistaken replaced items despite being assured there was no cost. Refunds to be processed based on previous mistakes still not processed after weeks and repeated calls. Rarely any followup from store without me having to call.
Nothing offered (future credit, discount or refund on any cost) as remediation or apology.
Not an experience to be repeated, would advise others against ordering kitchens from B&Q Waterford.
AVOID
Ordered few times, EVERY time my order was delivered wrong. I waisted my time and had to spend extra money in order to have the right items on time. Absolutely ridiculous never ordering from this place again.

Mixed experience
Have successfully purchased several items online for delivery and using Click and Collect. However recent negative experience, ordered a ladder, waited a week for delivery, and on the day of delivery the order was cancelled and a Partial refund given, without explanation. Infuriating.
Just go to the store
I ordered a lamp and bulb to go with it. They cancelled the lamp and sent me only the bulb. I then had to drive to the shop and buy said lamp 🙄 The lamp is still showing “home delivery “ when I look it up. Useless!!

Had a brilliant experience at the Penrith B&Q on Friday, 3rd April.
Staff couldn't have been more helpful and we really appreciate the time they took to help us with our new trade account.
The staff have always been friendly but Friday's experience was one of the best we have ever received anywhere.

My product arrived broken and then…
My product arrived broken and then trying to get it sorted was just a nightmare. So I went and bought a new roller and tray. Think it was around early March can't remember exactly the date. But when I tried to get it sorted I kept getting the English online people
Unsatisfactory Customer service
Bought 3 cabinet doors, which took 6 weeks to deliver. I noticed when I fitted them, that one of them had a minor dent on the side of it. I reported it to b&q straight away. I took photos which i sent to b& q "Customer service " who took a few days to respond, asking me for the details of the complaint,which i had already sent in the email that I originally sent .Because it had taken 6 weeks to deliver the doors, I decided to fill prime and then paint the edges faulty door. I asked for a refund for one door. I finally got an email today telling me that I couldn't get a refund. Each door cost €90. They said that i could only have a partial refund of €20 because I fitted it and I didn't report the damage within 48 hours which I had. Terrible delayed response from Customer service and when they finaly did reply, they asked me for the details I had already sent, with pictures. Totally unsatisfactory "Customer service ". Don't buy anything online from them.
Don’t order anything for delivery
Ordered online for delivery (big mistake) one week following delivery date still no delivery, wrong product then delivered twice. It took 3 visits to store regarding this as there was not one shred of communication from B&Q. I eventually settled for 9mm boards rather than the 11mm I had ordered as I just couldn’t be bothered with them anymore. Never again.
