DIY.ie is complete garbage, they charged me 3 different 8 of each (3 different sized plastic storage boxes) items, then the next day cancelled 2 of them. They then sent me the 8 boxes of what they had but with 8 lids from bigger boxes. They then tried twice to pick-up but also brought the wrong lids again, its was impossible to explain on the phone to the B&Q rep on the phone who spoke English but really struggled to understand what was being the problem. Ultimately I ceased contact with them because I could have been in this loop for life and went to my local B&Q which were brilliant.
Forget DIY.ie they don't have a good stock management system and phoning them was way beyond a waste of time but the B&Q store is brilliant.

Always brilliant service and delivery

Online order. First, all items were left loose at my door; no box, no bag, nothing. One of the the solar yard light didn’t have the stake to put it in the ground, not did it have the battery compartment, nor battery. I contacted B&AA. A replacement light was dispatched, but the pick up of the faulty light occurred prior to delivery of the replacement. When the replace finally arrived it too was left loose at my door, and it too was missing the stake to place it into the ground. Fed up with this process I requested a refund, and they could collect the loose item from my door! I received a return notice that seemed to indicate that I would need to return the light to a store before a refund would be generated. The nearest store is over an hour away…hence the online order. If at all possible I would avoid B&Q all together , but at a minimum an online ordering!!!

Ordered two storage boxes, one was damaged. Called up helpline and they said someone would be out to collect and replace.

Never received any update after this and still left with a broken container.

Excellent advice from a staff Member who was very helpful and knew his stuff.

I ordered doors,cabinets and furniture board for delivery, recevied the two furniture boards which were a disgrace,so had to return them, then they were suppose to have delivered replacement ones which that turned into an ordeal between emailing and calling costumer service, to be told they would be delivered, waited in all day, to then receive an email that I have been given a refund, so a month later, I still have no furniture board plus I am waiting for the rest of the suff which is nearly 7 weeks, I would not recommend ordering anything for delivery

Fast, straight-forward, kept me informed of delivery, and delivered on time, when they said.

Quality products delivered on time, can't ask for more than that!

Met by Liam at the door who was arranging a display of Pressure Washers. He told us they had just been reduced, so we bought one.

I bought paint from B&Q - the Trade range and it clumped on my walls. I drove the 45 minutes back to my nearest store and spoke to 2 people about the issues I had with the paint. They said they'd get back to me but I've not heard from anyone and I'm now left with unusable paint. I'll stick to Woodies in future.

Appalling!
It arrived a week late, no packaging, chipped, filthy, dented and overall, very badly damaged. Half the order had been cancelled by B&Q without any notification to me, what so ever. Appalling service, and no apology or means of contact.

More longer delivery time than stated....could not pick my day/slot like I was lead to believe...will never order from B&Q again

Paint another good experience with very helpful staff

I use b&q a lot for trade. But what I don't understand is, you have my email address on file for when I use my trade card. Why can't I get the receipt emailed to me with the sds documents? Instead of printing a till receipts and the needing to hold onto it for records. If you leave a till receipt on the dashboard on a hot day, it can get destroyed because it's thermal paper. An email copy makes more sense
