Cette enterprise est un scam—they tried to force me to pay a deposit through a third party app. Visa contacted me about potential fraud and I requested to cancel because I could not complete a payment through their form. They refused to cancel. I had to fight the transaction with my bank

Attention à tous ceux qui envisagent de louer cet appartement à Paris ! Mon expérience a été un cauchemar total lors du AWS Summit en avril.

Après ma réservation sur Airbnb, on m'a demandé de payer une caution de 250€ via un site externe, sans quoi ma réservation serait annulée. Une fois la caution réglée, les instructions pour accéder au logement étaient incomplètes et incorrectes, me laissant bloqué dehors pendant 3 heures par un froid glacial. Malgré de multiples appels, le service client Airbnb en français était inutile, me laissant sans aide ni suivi.

Ce n'est qu'après avoir contacté le support en anglais que j'ai enfin reçu les bonnes instructions vers 22h30. Même si on m'a proposé un remboursement pour la nuit, la caution versée via un site externe n'a été remboursée que 16 jours plus tard, et ce, après une série de conseils malavisés des agents d'Airbnb.

Je déconseille fortement cet hôte et le service client Airbnb en français, absolument décevant.

Un conseil : cherchez ailleurs si vous voulez éviter une série de déceptions et de frustrations lors de votre séjour à Paris.

péssima comunicação e má fé nas opções disponíveis ao cliente, não conseguimos efetuar o pagamento da caução através dos links enviados mais de 10 vezes com cartões diferentes, de débito, crédito, de pessoas diferentes, com endereços diferentes, fizemos a limpeza do cache e cookies do browser como a booking.com nos aconselhou e mesmo assim dava sempre erro ao finalizar a transação. informamos o alojamento e disponibilizamo-nos a pagar a caução por transferência, a dinheiro ou qualquer outra alternativa possível, ainda nos pediram os dados dos nossos cartões para fazerem o pagamento eles próprios (???ALERTA???) e o alojamento negou-nos qualquer outra opção e cortou por completo a comunicação recusando-se a fazer o check-in. ficamos na rua 4 horas a espera até reservarmos outro alojamento e mesmo assim não nos reembolsaram o valor da reserva pago na totalidade por não conseguirmos pagar a caução da forma que queriam sendo que já tínhamos comunicado esta situação com uma semana de antecedência. Resumindo, ficamos sem alojamento e sem o valor já pago. PÉSSIMO! NÃO RECOMENDO! PÉSSIMA EXPERIENCIA, NEM SE QUER TIVERAM A DECÊNCIA DE SE ENCONTRAREM CONOSCO NO ENDEREÇO DO ALOJAMENTO (ONDE ESTIVEMOS A ESPERA 4 HORAS AO FRIO E Á CHUVA) PARA TENTAREM EXPLICAR, RESOLVER OU SIMPLESMENTE COMUNICAR CONOSCO JÁ QUE POR CHAMADA, EMAIL OU MENSAGEM A COMUNICAÇÃO FOI PÉSSIMA E QUANDO RECORREMOS AO BOOKING .COM PARA NOS AJUDAR A SOLUCIONAR A SITUAÇÃO DEIXARAM DE ATENDER A PLATAFORMA. À éviter ! Vous devez fournir une caution de 250€ et si vous choisissez de ne pas la payer, vous ne serez pas remboursé. Après 14 heures de voyage (avion et train), pour un enregistrement à 15h00, je suis arrivé à 16h00 pour trouver un appartement sale. J'ai dû attendre jusqu'à 18h00 pour le nettoyage, avec des oreillers par terre. De plus, le rideau de la chambre laisse passer la lumière, donc la nuit, on a vraiment l'impression de vivre dans la ville lumière.

Arrivé 15 février pour un départ le 17 février 2024, j'ai dû appeler le 4 mars pour récupérer ma caution, et je dois encore attendre 3 ou 4 jours pour l'obtenir, pour seulement 2 nuits dans un Airbnb. Il faut presque un mois pour récupérer la caution, et encore, en étant insistant.

To avoid! You need a €250 deposit, and if you choose not to pay it, you won't be refunded. After a 14-hour journey (flight and train) for a 3:00 PM check-in, I arrived at 4:00 PM to find a dirty apartment. I had to wait until 6:00 PM for cleaning, with pillows on the floor. Additionally, the bedroom curtain lets in light, so at night, we truly experience the City of Lights.

For a check-out on February 17th, I had to call on March 4th to request my deposit back, and I have to wait another 3 or 4 days to receive it for just 2 nights in an Airbnb. It takes almost a month to get the deposit back, and that's if you're persistent.

Had a fantastic week with the family at Wolbourgh House. Everything was spot on.Everything was there that you could think off. Thank you

An excellent group of locals who truly care - they made booking my holiday so simple and I cannot fault them. I visit family in Torquay and will be coming back to them again soon!

Booked a couple of nights via Airbnb which is where Discover Holiday Homes advertise some of their properties. Short stay in Whitstable in November. Property was as advertised but had issues such as TV not working on arrival, heating thermostat not working, drive problematic, ALL reported regularly in the visitors book but not sorted. Response when I phoned them quick but best endeavours to sort which on a short stay is very poor especially as not new problems. Damaged my car on drive and have tried to contact them since but no response. Properties marketed are not at the cheap end and would have expected much better froma small business claiming great customer service.

Walking into Foy's Cottage and seeing the wealth of the peaceful location coupled with wonderful interior fixtures and furnishings; these all added up to a top notch treat. The property is very comfortable in every manner and really well equipped. It was such a nice traditional cottage in such a wonderful location; super space inside and out! Five stars in every aspect so thank you for permitting us to enjoy such a unique property!

Shaldon Palm Cottage is a perfect little house with absolutely everything you need to have a good stay. We were 6 ( we have four boys between 16 and 3 years old) and everyone was happy, even our little boy who found interesting toys and DVDs (in french !). He had also appreciate the zoo and the ferry crossing in a lovely traditionnal boat.
Shaldon is a very beautiful little town with an incomparable charm. We really enjoyed our holidays !

Bens Place apartment in Torquay was exactly as described on the website, we booked last minute for the Easter break for an extended Easter break of 4 nights.
Holiday information sent via email prior to arrival was very informative with directions etc
Lots of information available at the property with good bus links to Torquay, Brixham, Paignton and beyond.
Views were spectacular and we paid extra for the use of the hot tub which was wonderful looking out to sea.
The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen had everything we required to cook our own meals ( inc Easter Sunday dinner)
We Would definitely recommend the property to others

Amazing stunning views! Loved the lounge and seating. We had a brill time at the cottage. Grand views from two of the bedrooms. Lovely walks along the coast and a great trip to Salcombe via the Portlemouth ferry.

It would have been nice for the heating to be on prior to arriving as the house was very cold. Also we noticed that the wood burner fire needs a bit of maintenance (the fire rope around the door has gone and it allows no air control). The fridge in the kitchen acted more like a freezer and froze most of our salad! Also a little prior warning about the relative lack of loo roll, dishwasher tabs and washing up liquid would have been appreciated.

But on the whole our stay was brill!

My family and I stayed at Polly's Place for a week and couldn't fault it in any way. The accommodation, furnishings and the view were perfect. One of our party has breathing problems and we had arranged for her oxygen machine to be delivered to the house. Debs, the house keeper, went out of her way to ensure she was there to take delivery. Well be back there soon!

We so enjoyed our stay at the Boathouse. The views were stunning, the wildlife incredible, the owner was fantastic - a little luxury in a beautiful and tranquil setting. Highly recommend.

Absolutely beautiful cottage very comfortable with stunning views.
Perfect cd collection on 2nd floor to relax recline and watch the boats bobbing away on the harbour.
Easy stroll down to some delicious restaurants and friendly pubs,though return journey a little more strenuous up lots of steps.
Great big bath to wash away any aches or pains and an adequate kitchen with lots of little extras such as condiments and a bottle of milk on arrival which was most welcome.
Perfect dog friendly base to appreciate the beauty of Brixham and explore Torbay would definitely return tomorrow.

My Partner and I took a 2 night break in Beach Hut #2, and had an wonderfully relaxing time. Once the car was parked up, we didn't have to miove it again untill it was time to head for home. Everything you need is within walking distance, with plenty of eateries and pubs close by.
The Clipper Cafe right next door is an absolute stea, and serves and amazing breakfast, as well as evening meals.
There are hidden Gems too, we highly recomend a visit to Sheldon Zoo, and seek out the Smugglers Tunnel too.
All in all, a great get-away-from-it-all break, we can't wait for the next time we stay!

Booked this as a surprise Valentines for the wife, gents if you need to boost your brownie points up, this is the place. For me it was worth every bit of the 3 hour drive. Attention to detail puts some 5* hotels in the West End to shame. The wife was a bit upset when we lefted, as we drove down the road she looked behind and said "You've forgot to hitch up the hut to the car !!!.

Had 2nights at the Buccaneer which only has 3 rooms but they have had recently refurbished the rooms which are excellent, every thing you would need and very spacious, owners were very nice and helpful and I look forward to returning soon,

We had a lovely 3 night break over the new year period, and cannot fault the accommodation at all. However, we would be very guarded against booking through Discovery Holiday Homes again in the future, as they put their prices up by approximately 15% after we had booked, had our booking confirmed, and paid our deposit, blaming the increase on a "technical error".

When we queried the legality (and ethicallity) of this increase we were given the option of cancelling our booking with a full refund of our deposit. It would have been nicer to have been given an apology without having to ask for one, or to have been offered a gesture of goodwill for something which was very much not our error. As it turned out, we kept our booking, paying the extra money, as it had taken so long to find the right property at the right price (!) in the right location, and there were very few suitable alternatives available.

Lovely property and host, responsive communication and clear instructions.

Lovely cottage, everything you could wish for. Very cosy, a perfect home from home. Only downside was the shower which needs to be more powerful. Loved the wood burner.
