Sorry, can only give 1 star so far as the products were expected to arrive on 22/12/25 when I ordered.
Took a day-off to wait for the delivery, but the tacking only shows ‘sender has dispatched on 18/12/25’.
Completely understand it’s busy time of the year, but still no update so far.

Hi,
Thank you for your review. Sadly, due to the time of year, we have seen a lot of delays with all of our courier services. After the point of despatch, the parcel is in sole responsibility of the courier and unfortunately we are not able to provide any further resolution until the parcel is no longer deemed as deliverable by the courier. If you still require further support with this delivery, please contact our customer service team with your order number.
Kind Regards,

Hi,
Thank you for leaving us a review. It is great to hear you are happy with your order. Naturally due to the time of year, delivery estimates may be less accurate due to the increased number of parcels in the couriers' networks. We do hope that you will continue to shop with us again.
Kind Regards,

I got an amazing product. But paying extra money to get delivery quicker is not worthiet.
I got an amazing product, but for delivery, they charge me 4.95 pounds to deliver in 3 working days. But the actual delivery took 5-7 working days, which was so annoying.

Easy and efficient
I ordered some badminton shoes for my son for Christmas that were slightly too small and had to exchange them for a larger size. The exchange process was very easy and efficient and the shoes arrived quickly despite the busy time of year. Great service - very impressed.

Astrox 99 Play / Great service
Very fast delivery and well packaged. I ordered an Astrox 99 Play from Direct Badminton and received the latest version (black and green). The price was competitive.
The racket is head heavy with quite a flexible shaft so is great for generating enough power to clear shuttles to the back of the court even though my technique is not perfect.

Pathetic customer service
Made an order and paid extra for 2 day DPD delivery as needed the item for a tournament. Direct badminton didn't even dispatch the item in the time frame. Contacted their customer services but the lady who answered the call was not helpful at all. She siad that even if you pay extra for a speedy delivery, it is not guaranteed. I asked why it asks customers to pay extra then and giving a delivery slot on the website. She said even if you pay extra money, they will despatch when they can. It is a rip off. Poor customer service. Disappointed.

Hi,
Thank you for your feedback.
We are sorry to hear that you were not satisfied with our level of service.
We have been experiencing high volumes of orders which has meant that our processing times have been longer than usual. The delivery dates shown at checkout are given as an estimate and unfortunately can not be guaranteed, especially during peak times.
We apologise that you did not receive your order within your expected time frame but hope that you receive your order safely.

Scam of a company
Scam of a company. For context, I refer to the Yonex 800 Pro that I purchased. When the parcel arrived, it was severely damaged (large hole through the box). I have clear CCTV footage (and backed up by my concierge) that the box arrived damaged.
When I opened up the box to inspect the racket, there were stains on the plastic handle. Another cheap point - there's no bag / protector over the racket. Possibly grease from the factory floor or from the delivery truck or somewhere else - who knows. It did actually stained parts of my sofa and I removed the plastic handle wrap. I immediately returned the item (and actually used one of my own Yonex bag - which DS actually kept).
DS returned the item on a flimsy excuse that the plastic handle was removed (what a joke). They didn't even bother to call me. For context, I purchased another Yonex (Astrox) and kept that as the package was fine when it arrived.
Ironically - when the Nanoflare 800 Pro came back - the box was (once again) damaged. Almost in the same spot. I have kept the box as is this time around. I plan to bring DS to small claims court. It is unconscionable and unethical that this company chooses to operate in such predatory manner.

Hi,
Thank you for your feedback.
In order to continue to deliver the highest quality of service and products to our customers, we are unable to accept returned items where the original packaging is not completely intact. Without the plastic wrap on the handle, we would not be able to send an item to another customer with confidence that it had not been used. This is clearly stated in our T&Cs and is inline with other online retailers.
It is unfortunate that you believe that your parcel arrived in a damaged condition, however as you had not informed us of this prior to returning the item, we were unable to support you with this claim. When the item returned to us, there was no evidence of any damage or grease. It was also taken into consideration that we have received items from you in the past which you had admitted to using before returning.
Whilst acting in line with our T&Cs, we have done our best to maintain a good level of customer service even when you recorded a phone call with one of our members of staff without their consent.
Kind Regards,
Direct Sports
