Dillenger Electric Bikes Arvostelua 

I was going to purchase a kit for my own mountain bike and opted for this complete unit instead AU $2600. I am glad I did Its a great package and carts me around with ease(110kg). I only had 2 issues with the bike. 1. When delivered the box was damaged and the bike was hanging out, straps or stronger box is needed for this heavier bike. 2. The spokes were loose on the back drive rim and punctured the tube on day two. I have taken the bike to Hadley's Cycles who have ordered Kevlar reinforced tyres and thorn proof tubes for it as removing the back wheel is not a 2 minute job. They are going to tension the spokes and balance the back wheel for me. These issues are probably more to do with the Chinese cretins that assembled the wheel. As this bike has rear suspension and there is no place to mount drink bottle holders or pumps on the frame I have ordered a rear carry rack and bag that is seat pole mounted. The bike does not go onto a rear car bike rack as the rear shock and battery are in the way, I cart it around in my ute. The bike has hydraulic disk brakes which you need as the motor can cruise at 35km/h, you need to consider the speed and extra weight and be able to stop from this speed, and it delivers. The stand is good, gears are fine and electronics easy to use. The controller box is on the front of the frame, I would have mounted the controller box within the battery case so as to protect from weather and bumps. As far as everything else goes the bike is great package for the money. I ordered mine with a larger comfy seat which Dillenger had no problem supplying. Its early days with the bike but so far I am happy.

Bought a Dillinger Opia a week ago. Unfortunately one issue after another can't say they are the fault of the bike or Dillinger but certainly the pedal issue isn't something that can be explained as a bad luck

People at Dillinger when I bought it helpful and pleasant. Bike itself good looking thing but....

Mulitiple punctures in the rear wheel some times twice in a day . Tyres seem paper thin and disappearing everyday

Latest issue is the pedals now are constantly coming loose 5 times in a 11 km trip today had to stop and retighten to the max and still no good

I currently don't expect the bike to come up unscathed in any small trip I take

The electric motor is fine but so many irritating issues just about ready to give up in it and get back on non electric bike

Very easy to get along with. Transaction very smooth pleasant and helpful staff. No crossbar to take Iris for a test drive but she has a good sense of humour.

Everything arrived, nothing missing. Well packaged, no damage. Great over the phone ordering experience from Iris. My forks needed a bit of work to fit the electric wheel but with a bit of filing and a few extra washers I got there. With boosted power riding my Giant hybrid is now a whole new experience. Thanks Dillenger for making a good looking and well put together eBike conversion kit!

Bike is great, battery could be bigger, and bike could be lighter. But all in all it was quick to arrive, and rides great. Only to call on the phone was a bit hard to get through at times.

Everything was as described and the kit is working well.

I got new bike and have found it to be a very good purchase!, dealing with Dillenger has been a simple and easy process from the start!

I test rode all the Dillinger models and ended up fitting a front wheel kit to a sully road bike thus enabling me to pedal a constant cadence without the speed ever dropping below 33kph reguadless of headwind and hills. I'm completely blown away with this kit, the power within the small battery is gobstoping. Yes it's fiddly to install the pedal assist ring took a lot of rasping to fit into the zero clearance of the bottom bracket with a little sikaflex i managed to retain my existing sram group. I m really impressed with the entire kit it's smooth clever and a delight to ride.

I purchased a DIY kit for my mountain bike and didn't have much trouble installing it, everything was mostly plug and play. The service I received was fantastic, staff were very helpful and answered any questions I had.

The order process was easy and was dispatched quickly. I purchased the 1000w kit and transformed my Trek Mountain Bike in a few hours. I also purchased the 8 gear freewheel and the recommended tool kit to go with it which made the whole process easier. Beautifully made and works like a champ. There were no instructions with it and the online video needs more detail around setting up the brake and pedal assist sensors. But all round, I am very impressed 😄

Delivery as promised.
Very nice machine, easy to assemble from the box.
A manual would have been nice but easily downloaded.
If all goes well in the future I'll not complain.

I recently purchased a Bafang kit from Dillenger and I am currently installing it on my bike. I have had a number of questions re the installation and during this time I have communicated with Iris at Dillenger who is very knowledgeable and most helpful with good advice

They need one week only for the fulfillment. Crazy, in 2 weeks I from the order I didn't receive the box.

On line support was useful but needed simple instructions as the new battery had a wrong set of leads.
Otherwise prompt .

Good products, prices and services, and I have found them to be a good source of advice and information.

Power is enormous - torque & acceleration off the mark - unbelievable
Would have been 5 star rating except the headlight was dead on arrival.

I had a few phone calls back and forward before purchasing the kit. Iris was extremely helpful and once the purchase was made delivery was fast. Install was also extremely easy and I am now happily putting lots of km on the bike. I am interested to see how long the kits last for.
