Popped down today to hire a canoe for a couple of hours with our Grandson. Jamie was amazing, very friendly and helpful. Kitted us out and explained a few things we should know about our journey downstream. We met a few friendly faces on our journey making it a fun experience. Definitely recommend popping down there. Vey reasonably priced too!

What a find! We have just returned from a two night stay in Moorhen. The place is spotless, the view and location is just wonderful. The owners have thought of everything. We hired kayaks and went for an explore along the private canal. Just stunning! We are already planning our return next year. The only tiny thing I would say is next time we will go for a twin room as the top bunk is a bit small for our rather tall ten year old. Thank you for letting us share your little piece of paradise in Norfolk!

What a beautiful little getaway we have just had, we’ve always wanted to stay in one of these pods so we decided to surprise our 2 littles ones with a little one night get away.. and it was the best first experience we could have asked for! Everything was so clean and tidy! The attention to detail of all the ‘little things’ the hot tub was brilliant the children loved that they got to help build the fire to heat the hot tub! The view was so beautiful and peaceful, we have already spoke about coming back to stay and hiring a kayak to discover more amazing parts! Thank you so so much for our beautiful well needed family little get away! it was just perfect! Xx

A small slice of heaven.

The whole experience of this place was the most relaxing and peaceful my wife and I have had in a very long time. I would highly recommend it to any one looking for a retreat and some you time.

Our favourite part was seeing rabbits just outside our door and even a young deer.

We had a lovely time relaxing here. Pods had everything you could want, bed was really comfortable, towels were thick and hot tub was a real treat - better than we thought it would be. Beautiful look out from the lodge onto a field and felt very private despite there being two other pods in the field. We had our own kayak and went kayaking down the very beautiful canal and onto the broads a couple of times. Sure we will be back.

These pods are excellent. We stayed for a few days and were very impressed with the quality of the pods. They are very well insulated so even on a wet and windy day you are toasty warm.
Spent a day paddle boarding. Easy access to the canal that offers a variety of destinations to aim for. The hot tub was a bonus after a long day to soak sore muscles.

We've stayed here many times but this was our first time in the new pods....as usual the pod was immaculate....loved the hot tub. Dog loved the space to run around. Could have done with a bit more sun but otherwise another great stay

Just returned from a blissful 3 night stay. The pods are clean, cosy and comfortable, and due to the layout they feel private - although the other pods were occupied we didn’t see another soul! The setting and the views are some of the most beautiful - so peaceful and tranquil. The hot tub and the fire pit are great additions and add some luxury to the stay. Highly recommend the canoe hire - such a fun way to explore this stunning place. Already planning to rebook, thank you!

We came for two nights and had a wonderful time. The pod is cosy and has everything you could need for a short stay. The very peaceful and relaxing and the hottub is great. We didn’t have enough kindling, but we messaged and some was brought up to us.

Beautiful area to surround yourself with! The canoeing was fantastic fun, the pods were clean and well furnished. Just an all round fantastic visit! We came as newlyweds for a couple days to chill after the wedding however, we will be looking to return for a few days with our little girl in the family pods ❤️

This is run by an absolute pro. Super kind, helpful and knowledgable, it was a pleasure meeting him and we will definitely return for more when time allows!

We had a beautiful time here! We stayed in swallowtail. The bed is comfortable and the hot tub is by far my fave part. We were lucky enough to experience a meteor shower in the hot tub. The surrounding was dark because you’re surrounded by beautiful countryside so we could stargaze all night. We made beautiful memories!

We recently spent several glorious days at the Broad Fen retreat and couldn’t rate it highly enough. The pod itself was really comfortable and had every thing you might need to get away from it all for a few days. We took good advantage of the hot tub and the beautiful evenings to watch the wildlife and the sunsets. It was perfectly placed to explore the broads and the countryside and coasts around Norfolk. We enjoyed spending a few hours canoeing down the canal as well.

Booked originally for 2 nights in one of the 3 luxury pods, it was so good we decided to stay an extra night. The pod is amazing and has everything you need. It is furnished to a very high standard. There are only 3 pods which are placed apart giving exclusivity to each. The outlook is fabulous, looking across fields and well away from any roads/traffic. The private hot tub each pod has is an added bonus, along with the fire pit and grill, making it super amazing. The bed is super comfy as is the sofa. The bedding luxurious and all towels etc are provided. Will absolutely come again.

We have now stayed in both the glamping pods and the shepherds hut - both are kitted out to a very high standard with everything for a weekend away. Very clean, very comfy and surrounded by really lovely countryside. Large spacing between pods so you don’t really see your neighbours. Great outdoor furniture and fire pits. Amazing views. Very highly recommend

Just home from a couple of nights in beautiful Norfolk staying at Dilham Hall Retreats. First time glamping and won’t be our last. The pods are set up with everything you need. So relaxing in the wood fired hot tub, overlooking the field with the deer visiting everyday. Everything is easy from start to finish. Highly recommend.

We just returned from a superb glamping trip to Dilham Hall Retreats. The couples pods are tucked away allowing you to soak up the natural surroundings in complete and utter bliss. The pods are very thoughtfully designed with everything you might need for your stay. We thoroughly enjoyed a bbq on the outdoor gas grill and relaxing in the wood fired hot tub. Wouldn’t hesitate to visit again!
