Destiny Scotland Arvostelua 

Through no fault of their own Destiny had to change our accommodation on the day due to flooding caused by the previous guest. We moved from St Andrews Squ to the Charlotte Square St apartments. Staff were great. Apartment clean, bright, modern , uncluttered and very central. The beds were very comfortable. However - the smell from KFC downstairs was overpowering - clinging to clothes. We had to evacuate due to a fire alarm setting off from KFC and following this the smell intensified. But from other reviews the smell is pretty much there permanently. It’s unfortunate as without it it would have been a much better setting.

Everything was so easy from start to finish. The apartment we rented was absolutely amazing. Have already recommended destiny scotland to friends and family

Everything was perfect:

- good apartment;
- good assistence;
- good position;
- good easy check-in;
- good cleaning and services;

Management was responsive and gave clear instructions on getting into a flat. However, when we booked the listing via Delta hotels/Expedia it stated the flat had one king + one double bed but in reality, it was two double beds, and one of the bed frames blocked the door from closing. There's no lift and the streets are cobblestone around the area so this wouldn't be a good fit if you have mobility issues/large amount of cases. You won't know which floor you're on until the week before you arrive so if you need a specific floor I'd book early and make that request ahead of time. Heating, water, and laundry worked great, but the fireplace didn't turn on. If you are a light sleeper I'd be aware you can hear the sound from the street from any of the windows (even if they're closed) from at least the 2nd floor.

Great location - walking distance to castle, restaurants and shops. Exceptionally clean, modern, all amenities provided. Would definitely recommend.

Super easy check-in, fast and helpful answers from the host through booking.com. Excellent value for money, clean and comfortable apartment. Just bring your own hairdryer and anything else is already in the apartment. The location is perfect to walk around the city and also to use the main transport service (like Airlink or trains)

Another excellent experience. Thank you to Joanna for her assistance in booking car parking prior to our arrival. The location was literally a 5 minute walk to Princes St where we went to watch the new year fireworks. Everything you need in the flat. The door entry system does not allow entry until bang on 3pm. I did call to see if we could get in earlier (2,30pm) would be great if we could arrange an early entry if required. Appreciate a busy time of year and cleaning required with 11am check out. Amazing as always! Best serviced apartments in Edinburgh. Central and clean! With own kitchen and all appliances needed for short and long term. As always an amazing sleep and a perfect city break! Excellent customer service from the start to the end! Second stay and will definitely come back

I always enjoy staying in Destiny apartments. This time I stayed in a Chisholm Hunter one which was very clean and modern. The rooms were very spacious and there was a great view of the castle. The appointment is close to all amenities. The staff are always very helpful.

Flat was clean, tidy and good size. Location was central and close to main stations and bus terminus. Better value than a comparable stay in a 4* hotel.

We had a fabulous stay here over the Christmas holidays. Welcoming, cosy apartment with everything we could need. We look forward to returning!

Excellent apartment in terms of size, amenities and upkeep. Location at 21 Queens Street is outstanding - almost all key locations are within walking distance

We stayed at the Malt House for three nights over Christmas and the flat was faultless. Brilliantly appointed, secure, warm, stylish and so quiet! Just what we needed for a great festive break. Will be back!

(Might have been a good idea to contact us to tell us they had changed our apartment before we were standing outside the wrong one in the rain and having to call on Xmas Eve. Didn't spoil a thing so still a 5 star review.)

The apartment had everything we needed. It was clean, comfortable and had great location.

Beautiful Georgian apartment on the top floor of a block on Queen Street. Having stayed in similar places before, it was nice to have sone essentials such as washing up liquid, sponge, kitchen roll, laundry and dishwasher tablets. The apartment was excellently presented, clean and modern. The booking said there would be a bluetooth speaker in the apartment (there was a Sony remote) but there was no speaker. Overall, an excellent stay, close to Waverley train station and Princes Street. We will definitely stay again.

Great place to stay location is Excellent for all main places to visit. Tidy clean flat ideal for what i needed.

We were moved from the apartment we booked (thistle street) to what we consider to be an inferior apartment (royal mile residence) without any notice. First we learnt of the move was when we rec’d an email with access instructions to the different apartment 2 days before arrival. We were promised priority for early check-in with a phone call to let us know when available - never happened, we had to ring just before 3pm to gain access.
We consider the apartment inferior as it was smaller and in a less favourable location. The location was the royal mile which is noisy until the small hrs and the actual entrance was sandwiched between two pubs so needless to say ended up full of rubbish at times.
The two back bedrooms both had extractor vents right outside the windows from the pubs below which were noisy and continued through the night. The apartment we booked was picked deliberately as in a quiet part of town and had balconies, one of which had excellent views. Apparently this apt had a boiler issue which was going to take several days to fix.
The lack of communication was disappointing, the assistant who promised she would call us herself as soon as the apt was ready it turns out wasn’t working on the day… Apartment was clean and warm though during a very cold spell. as a postscript, still getting emails the day after leaving asking for credit card details or access won’t be given!!!

Great Location, wetherspoons about a 2 min walk for breakfast, apartment was great tea, coffee & milk in kitchen. shampoo, conditioner and shower gel in bathrooms, highly recommend
