I had gastric sleeve surgery. The surgery itself was really great I could not fault the surgical service I received. However I did not have a good experience with the administration side of things. One day after surgery I was informed that I was being billed 80,000THB because I had a pre-existing condition (I had already informed them & provided my full medical records prior to arriving in Bangkok) they still approved me for surgery. Once surgery was performed they charged me for the surgical equipment used for my operation because of my pre-existing condition. I was outraged!! They have also refused to refund unused stay at the Somerset hotel, I paid for 10 nights and only stayed 7 due to circumstances outside my control (rescheduled surgery date plus cancelled and rescheduled flights). I have deducted star ratings because of these two negative experiences.

At Destination Beauty I was treated well, with kindness, patience and respect. All my questions were answered. All my needs weee taken care of. The staff were absolutely wonderful, happy, smiling and looked as if they enjoy their work. I felt welcomed because of their positive attitude.

Could not fault destination beauty! The best decision I made going through them. Took so much stress away. Would highly recommend!!

I came to Bangkok with expectations and left a very happy person. The staff were always diligent in every effort to make you feel safe and comfortable. It was a gastrectomy, whereby the main surgeon was always mindful. I positively, trust in the professional curteosy shown me.

Everything from the collection from the Airport to the care and customer service throughout my time with Destination Beauty was top quality. They were friendly and helpful with any queries I had. The surgery process was seamless and care from the nurses was just as good. I would recommend this to anyone.

Staff were very friendly and always helpful, Appointments were clearly communicated, however there was only one issue where my last name was mixed up with another and I went to an appointment that was not for me and they missed out, that would be the only fault I had - the rest of my stay Staff were amazing at both the Hospital and at the Hotel. would recommend this to everyone.

I found the whole process of gaining information to booking my treatment with Destination Beauty seamless .
I enjoyed the location of Somerset Hotel as there are many western cafes and restaurants literally across the road and when you don’t feel like walking far , that was very helpful.
I enjoyed the hotel room , it was very spacious and the staff are very friendly.
My experience in the hospital was comparable to experiences here in Australia with the latest information and equipment. Mr room was lovely with my own bathroom and I even had Netflix .
The skill of the doctors and nurses was very important to me and I felt very like I was in great hands .
I enjoyed having a lovely room in the hotel to recover and breakfast in the morning was a fun way of meeting others who were on their own journeys.
I met some lovely ladies who had the same procedure as myself and we still kept in touch .

In October 2023 I had a sleeve in Thailand at Destination (beauty) weight loss. Had the best experience and have now lost over 60kg and it has changed my life for the better.

My husband and I went to Bangkok in October 2023 for gastric sleeve surgery and from the time we landed to the time we left to go home the level of care was at a high standard! From the initial consultation at the hospital to the surgery itself everything went smoothly the level of care that you get while in the hospital is second to none the nurses are amazing. Making the decision to go to Thailand for surgery wasn’t a spur of the moment thing we did a lot of research and found that it was the best place for us, we couldn’t be happier the results speak for them selves I’m currently 6months post op and 33 kilos lighter and hubby is 60 kilos down. The surgery has given us our lives back! we have more energy and can keep up with our kids, we no longer have to take a cocktail of pills every day.

I had a wonderful experience with Destination Beauty Weight Loss in February 2024. The surgeon, doctors, nurses and staff took fabulous care of me, I honestly couldn't have faulted anything.
This was my second experience with Destination Beauty - I went there in 2020 for plastic surgery and researched for approx. 2 years prior to going the first time - and it was so humbling to know the quality of care was the same, if not better, than the first time.
I was also really impressed with the nurses determination to understand and learn more English, I understand the language barrier is daunting for some but I was really impressed with their dedication to learn more English, and take their time to accurately understand what I, as the patient, needed.
Thank you Destination Beauty for the great experience yet again. Please be assured if I come back for a third time I will most definitely be coming back to you.

I feel so much better, lighter, happier and more energetic. The 12 months before my surgery I had been diagnosed with a particular type of arthritis that was causing me to lose mobility at such a fast rate I was terrified and could barely even walk anymore. With the surgery I have lost enough weight that I can now exercise, walk, get around without being constantly breathless. I am so incredibly grateful that DB has given me back my life.
