Disappointing at first, but resolved
The book arrived with a line of ballpoint pen on the cover. As it was intended as a gift, this was obviously a problem. And yet when you pay €24 for postage you should be able to expect things to be done properly...
In the end, the sales department agreed to send a second book, which turned out to be in good condition.
The incident is therefore closed.

Dear,
We are truly sorry to hear that the book arrived with a ballpoint pen mark on the cover, especially since it was intended as a gift. We understand how disappointing this must be and sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused.
We regret receiving a poor review, especially since we already had a new book ready to be sent out today. Due to my my leave last Friday, we had not yet had the chance to inform you as our latest communication dated from last Friday.
We want to assure you that a new copy of the book is ready to be dispatched today. You can be confident that this copy will be in perfect condition.
Once again, please accept our apologies for this unfortunate experience. We hope to resolve this swiftly and restore your confidence in us.
Best regards,

Thank you for your message regarding your recent delivery experience.
I'm pleased to hear that your chair arrived promptly and in excellent condition. However, I understand your concern about the lack of assistance during delivery.
While the DHL Express couriers typically deliver to the door, we appreciate your feedback about the importance of assistance, especially in certain situations. We depend on the goodwill of the DHL Express drivers to offer additional assistance, though this can vary depending on the individual.
Thank you once again for sharing your experience. If you have any further feedback or questions, please don't hesitate to reach out.
