Delicious Korean Arvostelua

Hello, my name is Rita and this is a review of my experience at DK learning course:
What I like the most about Delicious Korean is their ability to adjust to your own schedule and find a tutor that is the best fit for you. At the beginning of this course, I have expressed my wish for a tutor that is kind, understanding, supporting and is able to follow my rather slow pace. I love how both tutors that I had were praising me for smallest things, like getting the pronunciation right. I felt encouraged and appreciated, that lead me to continue with this course. Another really good thing is that they were able to adjust to my rather messy schedule. Since I’m still in High School, and in my country, many schools will have these things called “shifts” for students (and teachers), where one week I’d have classes in the morning and the other in the afternoon. Even though their website doesn’t have an option to schedule a zoom session to be every two weeks, DK were still able to adjust to me and made sure that I don’t loose any of my session time when I’m unable to attend. I do have to say though, they are rather pricey, but honestly, I think the price is kinda fair for what I’m getting. It’d be easier if they were a little bit cheaper, I have to admit that, but I’m not complaining. As a student, you are also able to give your feedback to the tutor and DK team if there is anything that doesn’t fit you. They give you the option to write feedback after every lesson, on the website, though it’s optional to fill it. Thank You for reading, I hope my review was helpful.

I've been learning Korean with Delicious Korean for 18 months now, and I'm excited to continue my learning journey with the team.
It's been a positive and rewarding experience. I've learned so much about the Korean language and culture, but more importantly, I've developed the confidence to communicate using practical vocabulary and sentence patterns.
Delicious Korean uses the comprehensible input approach to language learning. Rather than focusing heavily on memorising grammar rules, the emphasis is on developing understanding through meaningful, accessible Korean conversations and listening practice.
There's no pressure. The course combines self-paced video lessons, weekly one-to-one speaking sessions with a native Korean tutor, and plenty of listening practice through entertaining short stories. There are also interactive mini-games to reinforce your learning and an engaged community of students where you can share experiences, exchange insights and connect with fellow Korean language enthusiasts.
Practical assignments in the early units, if you choose to complete them, encourage you to record and describe everyday activities using the phrases you've learned and submit them to your tutor for feedback.
You learn the Korean alphabet in Unit 2, and from then on, the learning materials are presented in Hangul without romanisation. It's a little 'tough love' from the team, but surprisingly effective in developing reading skills and building vocabulary. The videos also have no subtitles, but you'll be amazed at how much you can understand from the context and how your knowledge builds naturally over time. You're always supported throughout the process, so don't let this put you off!
My weekly one-to-one lessons with my tutor, Nuri, are always engaging, encouraging and genuinely enjoyable. We cover practical, everyday situations, but there's also plenty of opportunity for natural conversation about our lives, experiences and cultures. Nuri increasingly incorporates Korean into our conversations, providing valuable listening and comprehension practice in a relaxed, supportive environment.
I'm planning a trip to South Korea soon, so we've been incorporating practical scenarios such as making reservations, asking questions and navigating everyday situations into our lessons. It's particularly rewarding to be learning language skills that I can use in real-life situations.
The structured curriculum provides a solid foundation, while the flexibility of the individual lessons allows us to explore topics relevant to my interests and learning goals. I've also been impressed by the team's willingness to listen to student feedback and continually improve their learning resources.
I look forward to my lessons every week, and they always seem to fly by!
I happily recommend Delicious Korean to anyone looking for a friendly, supportive, practical and personalised way to learn Korean.

I’ve been using Delicious Korean for over a year now and every experience has been so great! The teacher I was paired with is consistently friendly, helpful, and supportive. I really enjoy the online community you gain access to so you aren’t going through it alone and the lessons are always easy to understand.

My Korean language journey with Delicious Korean has been incredibly rewarding. I have a wonderful coach who paces every session, making complex grammar & vocabulary feel completely approachable. I've seen so much progress since I started! If you are looking for an enjoyable setting to learn Korean, you should absolutely give DK a try.

I've been learning with DeliciousKorean for almost two years, and it's been one of the best experiences I've ever had. They match you with a native Korean speaker for one-on-one sessions. They provide a fully immersive experience, real-life language, and a coach whom you can ask about actual expressions, politeness rules, and even role-play interactions speaking fully in Korean. The program includes videos, audio, PDFs, a community platform to share with other learners, and many games that you can play for free on their website (go check them out right now!). And if you take a trip to Korea, let them know so you can share a meal with them or plan a fun activity!

I've been learning with Delicious Korean for a year now and it has been a wonderful experience! It has taken my Korean learning to a new level. I am able to take the things I learn and apply them in very natural ways. The teachers are all so attentive and kind. I would recommend DK to anyone who is serious about learning Korean!

I’ve had such a great experience with Delicious Korean. The teachers are incredibly friendly, patient and supportive, and they make learning Korean fun, enjoyable and so much easier. What I appreciate the most is how welcoming and encouraging they are. I always look forward to my classes, and I’m really happy I found Delicious Korean. I would definitely recommend their classes to anyone who wants to learn Korean.

Franchement je recommande car le coach est à notre écoute et prend le temps de nous expliquer ce que nous avons du mal à comprendre

I discovered Delicious Korean almost by chance while watching some of their videos, and I decided to enroll in their courses out of curiosity. I never imagined I would find such an extraordinary learning method, unlike anything I had ever experienced before!

The lessons are so engaging that you naturally find yourself glued to the screen, eager to keep learning. The course is exceptionally well-structured, and every aspect of the learning journey is carefully designed.

Another major strength is their support team: kind, professional, and always available to help and resolve any issues that may arise. The coaches are wonderful, patient, and supportive throughout the entire journey. You study in a peaceful, welcoming environment where you never feel judged and are free to make mistakes, learn, and improve. To me, this is an essential value.

I have been studying with Delicious Korean for quite some time, and thanks to their courses, I have significantly improved my writing skills and have finally started speaking Korean with greater confidence.

I highly recommend Delicious Korean to anyone looking for a less traditional and more enjoyable approach to language learning. Their method allows you to absorb words, structures, and concepts naturally, without making learning feel like an obligation.

The best part is that you never feel alone: you are guided and supported throughout the entire learning journey.

If I could give more than five stars, I would do so without hesitation! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Five stars honestly feel far too few to describe my experience.

The entire staff is so enthusiastic about sharing their love of anything Korean. So glad I have great coaches who have an endless supply of patience. I also appreciate how flexible and willing they are to step outside of the box and find creative ways to help their students learn.

I recommend this experience : training materials are good, weekly sessions with teachers are effective - and teachers are great - and the DK team is really nice.

First of all, I have to say the system is outstanding. I’m an avid language learner, and since part of my job is working with people from around the world while traveling, I’m always keen to pick up bits of new languages. I do it by observing, listening, and repeating. I’d wanted to learn Korean for some time, but most methods were traditional, and those don’t work for me. Then one day I came across the DK videos on YouTube and knew right away this would suit me. I grew up in a Montessori international school, and DK’s approach reminds me of it: you observe and learn intuitively.

That methodology has let me learn very quickly (I wish it existed for more languages!), but what’s even more impressive is the team behind it. They’re warm, humble, and genuinely invested in helping you learn. Hyerim is solution oriented, and Woosung is passionate, dedicated to our progress, professional, and kind. My teacher, Mrs. Wi Ahyun, is a diamond. She makes me comfortable enough to be brave about speaking, while also pushing me to go further. She challenges me, roots for me, and makes every lesson interesting.

Overall, I genuinely feel like I matter to this team, and the methodology is worth the investment. It’s better to choose a system that works and that you can actually follow than to spend far more time, and so more money, on options that look cheaper at first but may never get you the result. I also appreciate that the team is always looking for ways to improve, with new games and activities added along the way.

The team is always obliging to help, and always go the extra mile to make sure that their students are happy. They also take interest in their students at a personal level - that’s what people need these days, a personal touch. Well done guys!

After 15 months of studying Korean elsewhere, and not being able to hold a conversation, I’m finally doing it. I’m not freezing and forgetting everything I know. It’s such a good feeling.
Thank you delicious Korean!
기분이 좋아요!!

The program is well worth the money spent. The videos are fun, animated, and ready to follow. The 1:1 language lessons with the native Korean speaker reinforce what you learn in the lessons. Plus, they have so many fun ways to learn like songs, dramas, and stories. I highly recommend Delicious Korean.

Delicious Korean is fantastic! They make it enjoyable to learn Korean. I feel like I'm actually making progress and feel way more comfortable speaking thanks to their teaching methods and my wonderful coach. He makes me feel comfortable, kindly corrects mistakes, and encourages my curiosity. I highly recommend this program!

Helpful and really well structured courses. Really available and nice tutors and teachers. You can really see they care a lot about this project and deeply believe in what they are doing and their method. Everyone will do their best to make you feel comfortable and supported throughout your journey, keeping your pace and validating your efforts instead of evaluating you on a general scale or pressuring you with expectations. I really recommend this experience, especially if you’re having trouble learning the language in the traditional way or really suffer from the pressure of expectations.

I am having the best experience ever I've been learning Korean for 2 1/2 years .I learned a few sentences here and there through out the years I gather a lot of vocabulary but i can only have short conversations . I did know about DK but I was procrastinating . My friend joined before me every day she is telling about her progress and keep telling to join that i will like it . She keeps telling just do it you will see the difference , and one day she literally says we gonna do it together : i will help you let's do it now . It was impossible to back out ,I sign up for the class .It is mind blowing I can't even imagine in 4 weeks I am able to have conversations from present future , past tense. I can talk about food family party day to day activities I can sing i can make a joke .I can talk about what I like and don't like talk about what i would like . Learn to count time days and more .From chapter one you learn how to make sentences you really learn like a baby. I am glad i made that choice. Thanks don't hesitate to join DK . It is 채미있요 it is fun.
화이팅 할 수 있어요 .감사합니다 Delicious korean

I’ve been studying Korean about 7 months and just started with Delicious Korean about a month ago. The comprehensible input has helped been really effective in learning and retaining new words, sentence patterns and having a coach has made all the difference and a must have for any language learner. Each week, we get an assigned chapter and section and then practice the assignment with the coach. DK team is always available for questions and very helpful. My coach is also really good about responding to messages or if I have questions. I love the games DK created to help with vocab and spelling as well as speaking practice and they continue to put out more content. Lastly, what made me want to join DK was seeing how fast my Korean language partner was growing with DK. I saw a big difference in her vocab, sentence patterns and her pronunciation!

I’m loving my experience with Delicious Korean! They teach using “comprehensible input” — basically learning Korean the way a baby learns its first language, through context and exposure instead of memorizing rules. The video lessons are genuinely fun to watch and easy to follow.

Here’s the crazy part: I studied Korean the traditional way for almost 2 years and barely felt confident. After just 6 weeks here, I’m already understanding and speaking better and more confident than before.

My tutor is also a huge part of it — attentive, patient, and just fun to talk to. Lessons feel more like a chat with a friend than a class.

If you want a method that actually works, paired with a tutor who cares, I’d 100% recommend this.
