Portfolio verkauft
Bis vor ein paar Monaten war eigentlich alles ok. Dann beschloss die flatExDegiro AG das Österreich Geschäft von Degiro einzustellen und die Kunden auf flatEx zu zwingen. Im Zuge dessen musste man entweder die bis zu 30x so teuren Gebühren auf flatEx bezahlen oder sein Portfolio verkaufen. Da mein Vertrauen in die flatExDegiro AG mit der Aktion sowieso zerstört war habe ich mich für die "Portfolio verkaufen"-Version entschieden. In Zukunft werde ich einen großen Bogen um die Firma machen und außerdem versuchen mein Portfolio auf mehrere Anbieter zu verteilen.

Ich wurde letztes Jahr von Degiro gekündigt -> ich MUß zu FLATEX wechseln -> dazu habe ich aber echt keine Lust, weil zu teuer! Sehr schade! Ich bin jetzt bei Trade Republic

You get what you pay for
I have been trying to transfer my portfolio for weeks now since Degiro can "no longer accept" me as a customer due to tax reasons. I handed in all documents right away and I was assured that the transfer was going to be complete before the US election. One day before the election they froze my positions, neither was I able to sell nor buy any of my stocks, and informed me that the transfer will be finished by the end of the week. I have called and emailed them almost every day and NOTHING happened. Horrible customer service, little to no response to my follow up emails and a disgrace of a transfer department.
Might be cheap, but you get what you pay for.

Thanks for the review and the feedback to us. We do take it very seriously.
We would be happy to explain the reason for the sometimes very long waiting times for portfolio transfers. Despite the advanced digitalization of financial transactions, it is unfortunately not possible to transfer securities at the push of a button. A securities account transfer can certainly take a long time. The processing time depends not only on DEGIRO, but also on the cooperation of the recipient institution and the securities depositories. In some cases, other agencies are also involved in the transfer process.
We do apologize if it took longer than promised but as we said disruptions that lead to an extended waiting time do not necessarily come from DEGIRO and that is why we normally are not able to give any exact dates when a transfer will be completed.
We can promise that in all our actions and processes we try to complete them as fast as possible and that we are constantly working to reduce the time of a portfolio transfer as much as possible to make this step faster and smoother for our customers.
Unfortunately I can not see your personal case so if you would like to get a personal response to your case you can send an email to kundenservice@degiro.de referring to your post and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
