Any potential buyers please be aware because the after service is nowhere as good as when they are selling your car and taking your money. Please cross the i and cross the T's when buying from these people as I will never go back to them.
I purchased a new Kia Sportage GT line S in good faith and only after a few days l started getting warning lights coming on. I was told it's because of the weather??? I went away flabbergasted. Then the collision system just came on suddenly and sharply stop the car on five occasions. I took the car back and they said that there was nothing wrong with the vehicle that that was just the way it was. I've had cars for many years and never had this problem. I only had this car 5 weeks and said I wanted to return it for full refund which they would not do so I ended up selling it back to them losing £5,000 in 5-6 weeks. Also I paid £449 for a service plan and again I'm struggling to get this money back. I complained directly to Kia and they did not want to take any responsibility. Sending me back to Kia Peterborough who also do not want to take any responsibility which I think is absolutely disgraceful.

Bought a Kia sportage a year ago and still going strong. Amazing guy at Hummingbird motors. Showed me all the features of the car only for me to crash is a day later😂. Jokes aside, really good experience

Portsmouth Kia dealership - AVOID, AWFUL CUSTOMER CARE.

The customer service in this dealership was terrible. I was passed around 3 colleagues, Holly, Stuart and the manager. None of them responded, I still to this date I have an outstanding query and despite numerous phone calls and emails I hear nothing back. I've now given up.

Due to the lack of responses, I would never buy a kia again. This was the first time I had bought a Kia and I've leanrt my lessons. A response to my query is the least I would expect and to be ignored is not acceptable.

In contrast Nathan and the Kia newbury dealership could not do enough to assist, fantastic support in contrast to the Portsmouth dealership.

Booked my Picanto in with the team at KIA Bletchley for a service. Found the online booking service really straight forward and was able to get it in with two weeks. I have a disability and when checking in at the Service Centre the Reception Team could not have been more helpful and accommodating. By the end of the day I had a link to the service schedule with a short video taken by the mechanic who serviced the vehicle with her observations - really nice touch and transparent. They looked into an electrical issue that I’d identified and put the vehicle on a rolling road to check. The issue was rectified and no charge was made - again, a really nice touch and a great example of going above and beyond. I will definitely be using them again.

The Kia shopping experience is disgraceful sat in the dealership after informing staff that I would like to discuss and test drive a vehicle me and my severely disabled wife waited and waited not offered a coffee nothing and left after an hour of waiting so RUDE IGNORANT so I won’t be buying an expensive new car from KIA

I was aloud to test drive a quick look around then paid just over £19,000 cash salesman very smiling asked if would like a coffee very helpful with bank transfer could not do be any happier . Then a day later I was told I need two front tyres they said they have just serviced the the tyres are ok then two days later it went in for a front wet carpet ther service engineer said it could do with two front tyres do not trust them there all happy for you to buy a car but when there's a problem they don't give a shit I told the salesman I'd wish I'd of ne'er seen the car then the he said o well just like saying tuff. Today it went back ingor the same damp carpet and this time they say the window must of left the window open a littl bit but the whole passenger side front need to be to be replaced they told me they have done a smoke test and a presher test I bet they haven't before the car went in the salesman says the seats must come out the carpets must come out and totally steem cleaned dray and refitted non of that has been done one and a half days to do a smoke test. Do not trust this Kia dealer they ar just a bunch con men

This review is for Boongate Kia in Peterborough just had my sportage in there for a problem starting in this cold weather (car is diesel?).
Not only was in booked in promptly but repaired just as quickly (all new glow plugs fitted) “BUT” it was covered under the fantastic and comprehensive warranty? Vehicle is 6 years old by the way?
What amazing service and support that is.

After having a bad experience last year I was very happy to meet Luke the service manager at Allen Kia dealership in Bath today Luke was very courteous and very professional and taking my car for a service and MOT was made a joy what a difference professional staff makes very much appreciated Luke it was a pleasure.

I’ve come to despise buying cars, the constant nonsense and drivel I’ve experienced from sales people is tiresome! I walked into Kia Bolton at the end of my tether having spent over 2hrs at Nissan (2hrs I’ll never get back) and that was just to get a valuation, I walked into Kia with its fancy showroom and bright Lights and expected very much of the same, how wrong could I be! Lee the sales guy was fantastic, and I don’t say that lightly, not to take anything away from Lee but from what I saw and heard treating people this way is Kia policy. No pressure, no nonsense just plain old fashioned help and advice, regardless if it leads to a sale. I’m already planning to visit this garage as my first point of call for my NEXT car, the experience was that good. Well done Lee, well done Kia.

Poor customer service by Mark Eliott. He told me I had to change my EU license to get a courtesy car that I booked. I was asked for license, address proof and NI number to get insurance for the day to drive the courtesy car. I had sent it the day before but there was no acknowledgment. I was also told to change my license to UK License as it was the rule since brexit. I had indicated that I needed the car by 12:00 pm for work but it was ready only by 12:45 pm. He sent a chat link to get updates but never replied to my messages. When I requested a quote for a service plan through the chat there was a quick reply… may be automated. I was happy to buy the car in the dealership and that agent was sweet and his name was Paddy. They both are miles apart in customer service.

Purchased a new car from Kia Chesterfield Mark was amazing from beginning to end made the entire process stress free would definitely recommend!!

We had a really good experince of buying a car from our local Kia dealership due to the warm, thoughtful and responsive attitude of Mark (car salesperson). He wanted to help us find the right car and assisted us throughout. We appreciated his can do attitude, communication and accessibility in resolving a battery issue quickly and calmly. We felt we could trust him and would recommend him to family and friends

We purchased a new Kia picanto and gave two cars back for one. We took cars back as requested first the manuel and when we took second car the automatic we should have driven off with our new car. They would not let us as they hadn’t sorted finance off as promised so they lent my husband a hire car with only him insured on it so I became car less. 5 days later still not allowed car have received the log book but no car as they keep fobbing us off with finance hasn’t cleared. Not the way to keep customers happy. Certainly won’t buy another car from Kia.

The reception I get varies so much depending on who's on the service desk. Sometimes it's welcoming and friendly others it's almost like I'm being an inconvenience just being there.

The quality of the work carried out is appalling. I've had interior trim damaged, things not working correctly after a service that were fine before the car went in, parts not fitted correctly and incorrect parts used.

On one occasion I had to resort to court proceedings to recover costs that Kia UK had assured me they would cover. When they did eventually pay up there was no sign of remorse and no apology for my inconvenience.

It should have been a zero star.as they are useless in my opinion.Ordered windscreen wipers for a eniro took a day or two.got a phone call to say they had arrived fitting was included but unfortunately I would have to wait 5 weeks before they could fit them.(Disgusting) Tried phoning them told someone would phone me back,still waiting.Car is nice Service is diabolical

Would have given KIA dealership and KIA CUSTOMER SERVICE ZERO. This is very poor service. No updates, no dates. It’s unbelievable that only now it’s been appreciated that the car is will have to be seen by a specialist EV engineer since not even the breakdown service could restart the battery or the hybrid system OVER 2 MONTHS AGO!!! This is getting very disappointing and frustrating as I'm paying finance, the car is under warranty and as a single mum of two young children with special needs and school about to start, I need a date when I’ll have my car back. OMBUDSMAN is the next step!!!

DO NOT BUY KIA. My Kia Picanto has just 23000 miles on the clock, and the instrument cluster has failed. Kia say they can not supply a new cluster. So, with just 23000 miles on the clock, the car is scrap, and KIA do not care. DO NOT TOUCH A KIA CAR.

2 yr old car currently in Allen Kia Bath for "warranty" repairs. Third time in, but they seem unable to even look at it, simply keeping it a few days then admitting they have no parts/technician to do the repair, giving it back and re-booking for another month ahead. No communication on (lack of) progress (they have never made the promised calls back to us), no courtesy cars so we are paying for replacements. Contacted, Kia UK for help and they simply washed their hands, saying nothing to do with them as dealers are independent franchises. The Kia 7 year warranty sounds like a good thing, but the lack of dealer support makes it very hollow. Nice cars, but next time we will buy from a manufacturer with a decent dealer network.
