I went to my jewelry box and picked out an older DY silver bracelet, was unable to clean it with silver jewelry polish cleaner. Took it to a jeweler to be cleaned. It could not be done, not really 'sterling' he said. I can no longer trust David Yurman. BUYER BEWARE!!!!
URGENT David Yurman has Predatory Shipping Policy
David Yurman requires the customer accept their terms and conditions at the time of sale. Goods shipped are your responsibility once left on your property so if stolen they will NOT HELP you! Actually you should NEVER ship their goods to any address unless there is someone there to receive the goods. If the goods disappear they will not help! They do not care about their customers. Offered nothing to help and it was for a $429 item. Small transaction in their world. I've never heard of a policy like this before.

I was sold a faulty David Yurman pendant via Farfetch for a necklace that fell off a necklace while the necklace remained in tact.
At the time of purchasing, I was not made aware that the David Yurman pendant could come off a necklace. If I was made aware at time of purchase, I would not have purchased the product.
When I thoroughly explained my situation I was notified I would be refunded. I followed all protocol of the company.
I have not received a refund.
How can a company sell faulty products, admit to the fault by promising a refund and then not follow through with the refund?
There has not been any other offer of compensation for my situation.
So am I just to accept I was sold a faulty product, promised a refund and not receive a refund?
I will not be returning as a customer of Farfetch unless this situation is reconciled. And unfortunately, even though David Yurman sells beautiful items, I now cannot trust their products either.

Purchased a David Yurman charm $799.00 two months later it fell off the chain fortunately I noticed. The so called cheap lock is broken and cannot be repaired. Their customer service is the worse ever would never spend my money on another one of their products.

If I could give zero stars for the corporate office's response I would. I've had my bracelet for a fee years and it has a bend in it. I was told after the sale there is no warranty. I paid a lot for this bracelet and was told even if I send a letter to Mr. Yurman, he doesn't get them and there's nothing that can be done..so basically he doesn't care once he gets the money from the sale..Just wow! Greedy and uncaring. So much for high end jewelry. I will never buy a piece from him again.Horrible customer care. Sad that people can be this way.

Almost no gold in the ring
I bought a petit buckle ring made of gold. The size turned out to be too big, so I took the ring to a jeweler friend to reduce it. After cutting it, it turned out that the ring was a hardened steel wire wrapped in fine gold wire! How is it even allowed?? There is virtually no gold in this ring, and the diamonds are tiny. This is certainly not the luxurious quality that the price indicates!

Sent them email asking about the size of the amulet twice but never received reply. Then found them on trustpilot website with very bad reviews about quality of their products. Thanks God they didn't reply and I haven't bought anything from them. Poor customer service with poor quality products.

I purchased the Madison bracelet expecting it to be a timeless piece that I could wear every day. While the design is indeed beautiful and versatile, I was extremely disappointed with its durability.
Unfortunately, the clasp proved to be faulty. After only a few months of wear, it came undone, causing me to lose the bracelet. Initially, I thought it might have been my mistake, but when it happened again, I realized there was a significant issue with the clasp.
Given the high price point, I expected the Madison bracelet to be a long-lasting investment. Sadly, this was not the case. I would advise potential buyers to reconsider their purchase, as the quality simply doesn't justify the cost.

Bought an expensive bracelet from David Yurman which I only wear on special occasions and while I was putting it on it came apart in two whole pieces.
They told me it is a well loved piece and are not standing behind their product.
20 years later I no longer stand behind them.
Poor quality
I received a blue topaz bracelet I loved from my husband, and it was my go-to piece for a couple of years. Then something inside the band (the piece would twist open slightly to slide on your wrist) snapped. I’m not hard on jewelry so this shouldn’t have happened. I took it to the David Yurman retail location where it was purchased and was quoted $110 for a repair (which was an estimate) and I agreed to have it sent in. Two weeks later I was notified that the estimate was too low and the cost would be $350. I declined - I’m sure I would be paying for a brand new band. The bracelet never should have broken to begin with (interestingly they no longer make this style - so perhaps there were issues with it) and there would be no guarantee that it wouldn’t happen again. I loved that bracelet, but poor quality and workmanship seem to be an acceptable part of David Yurmans brand.
Very disappointed in David Yurman
Very disappointed in David Yurman. I have a pendant (tag) that is wearing through, not what I expect from such an expensive, quality brand. I reached out to their customer service and was responded to 3 days later by a customer services representative named Claudia. They asked for my country and receipt. I told them I was in the UK, but did not have my receipt. It was roughly 18 months ago I bought this tag. It was a piece of jewellery that cost over £700, not a toy from Tesco's, so I did not keep the receipt for years on end. I have now waited for over 2 weeks for a response and had nothing. Not the quality not the service I had anticipated.
Pink Tourmaline Ring
Bought a Pink Tourmaline ring for ~$2500. I purchased it on New Year's Eve and springed for the overnight delivery. I knew that I would not receive the ring on New Year's Day because of the holiday which was fine. I contacted customer service and they told me that it would be shipped on January 2nd, and I would receive the item on January 3rd. The ring came in but it was the wrong stone. I spoke to Ruth in customer service, and she had me send the ring back so that another ring could be sent. She contacted the Houston store from where the original ring came from and was told that they would have the have the first one back before sending a new one. This was there fault and now I was having to wait for my ring which was for an occasion that had now passed. Ruth informed me that she would speak to a supervisor about expediting the new ring and would call me back. Time went on into the next day...no call. I finally called her to see what was going on, and she gave me a bunch of excuses about her personal life (very unprofessional) as to why she hadn't even followed up with Houston yet. By that point in the day, Houston could not send the ring because they were apparently on back order now. So, I was lied to by Ruth. The only way I knew what was even going on was by talking with Lamont in customer service. He is even said that this all sounded very shady and wasn't sure why I was told I would get another ring from them. He proceeded to call the Austin store where Erin and Virginia were very helpful. They sent us a ring as soon as they could, however, when we received this one, it was still very dark and not pink. The example on David Yurman is hot pink. The one sent us was very dark and looed almost raspberry in color. At this point, we were done. We sent it back to them to get a refund. We will NEVER buy from them again. Horrible customer service (minut Lamont) and products do not match what is advertised. Attention to detail is low considering how high end this jewelry is supposed to be. Very disappointed.

1/15/24.. I have owned many pieces of David Yurman jewelry over the years. Four years ago, my wife bought me a bracelet from Gerry David Yurman that didn’t last four months and it was broke. She had to take it back into the store and they had to send it away to be repaired which took three months. It lasted about another month and she had to take it back to the store and have it repaired again it took another three months. After that she threw it in the drawer and said I’m done dealing with these people. Last Christmas and 2023 my wife decided to buy me a David Yurman bracelet with a one week and it already broke. I took it back to the store today they did not have one in stock and they said they would have to order it for me and it would be in next week. I also took the other bracelet. That’s been sitting in a drawer for three years and ask him about that they went and talked to their manager and they said well it was send it in for repair again for the third time and it should be back in 2 to 3 months. For the price that you pay for David Yurman Jewelry, I don’t think it’s worth the money. I’ve bought stuff in Mexico that last longer and is stronger and built better extremely disappointed in their product and cannot recommend buying their jewelry.

Exorbitant cost to repair and time to repair
I’ve been wearing David Yurman before anyone knew the name-over 20 yrs I’m sure! Recently I was very disappointed with the quality of one of my new bracelets. Clasp broke after only a little more than a year. This can happen-sure I understand, but the time and cost to repair are exorbitant! I asked if I could get it repaired locally and was told NO I had to send it to Yurman. It would take 8 weeks and cost $200!

Stand behind your products! Get local jewellers who can do the work on your behalf and you should be subsidizing the cost of these repairs not gouging your loyal clients. I won’t buy more Yurman jewelry after this experience. There are quality items you pay for where no questions are asked. If it breaks or quality doesn’t hold up they prefer to exchange and they take care of the repair. Those products will gain stellar reputations. I see here I’m not alone frustrated with the after sales service of David Yurman.

I received the order today / within 2 days via Fedex (signature required, which gave me peace of mind, given the value of the item).
Not only was the bracelet EXACTLY what I wanted (early birthday gift) but the gift box and cleaning cloth and storage bag was all top tier/super high quality.
This was my first purchase but it won’t be my last!
