Myself and my friend came together, we had a great time considering it was our first time at one of these events and didn’t know what to expect. Rob was funny and chilled. We spoke to a number of different people and enjoyed our experience!

I really enjoyed the speed dating The host was very polite and cheerful , nice too meet new people and have a chat so glad I found this company

Really fun event in Clapham on a Thursday.
Cool venue, and 17 dates.
The host Patrick was helpful and ran things smoothly

The company is a real scam. The event was cancelled on the same day. They don't refund your money, they'll ask you to choose another event and when you do, the response will be "Event is full, choose another one" or no response at all. Stay away from this trap.

It was a great evening, a lots of fun, really enjoyed. Brilliant atmosphere. Very pleasant venue. Highly recommend!!! :)

I attended the singles open mic event and it Was a very fun evening a very good opportunity to get out of your comfort zone. The host was super friendly and welcoming , and the vibe was really positive .

I paid for my ticket, event got cancelled. Heard nothing from them since, they said email to shift the ticket. As of now. Just took my money and no response. This is unacceptable service.

My friend and I went to the event in Madison rooftop and had a great night! Such a good venue and atmosphere, we were looking for more of a casual experience rather than a speed dating type event so it was perfect and felt like a relaxed vibe, made some great connections.

I would give 0 stars but cant.
Worst customer service I have even had the displeasure of going near.
Cancelled the event 3 hours beforehand and are now refusing to give me my money back even though others who I was going with were refunded no problem.
They have now ignored 2 emails, which is the only way to contact them and change the ticket or get a refund both of which will never happen, now reporting the trading standards as legally they have to give a refund option if they cancel and event, which is UK events law standard.
Also they didn't use their name when selling via a 3rd party so was unable to actually look them up beforehand.
All these issues could have been avoided had they taken the time to reply back to my emails and offer some solution other than find another event, customer service is part of all event experience and unfortuanely I was not offered it.
Please do not use!!!

There is a lot of diversity, you never know whom you will meet. The host were kind, and friendly, especially Asha, the location 100 Wardour St is really relaxing and cosy and I'll keep going until I find a meaningful connection. If you're single ho for it!

I had a great time at their Mayfair singles event and met some wonderful people. DateInADash selects excellent venues and offers innovative event formats compared to others. Sometimes events get cancelled, but Rob and his team were helpful with rescheduling makeup dates as they arose.

Laidback and largely well organised speed dating events. It was my first time speed dating and Rob was friendly and engaging. The event itself ran very smoothly. The other attendees were all lovely and it was fun getting to know them. I didn’t match with anyone on my first visit but I’ll be going back. NB my first event was advertised as a 7.30pm start and they advised arriving 15-30 mins early, but it’s actually an 8pm start. I arrived too early and felt like a lemon. 7.45pm arrival is probably ideal.

Giving one star is even generous. I cannot believe the audacity and the ignorance of “Rob” who is undoubtedly the worst to come into contact with. After the event that my friend and I was supposed to attend was cancelled very last minute (at exactly 21:55 the night before the event was to take place) and all was sent was a crap email saying event cancelled and if you want to go to another event respond to email. The whole situation is extremely long and I won’t have enough space to write it all down. Unfortunately my friend and I made the decision to attend thinking we had no choice, we were running late to the event as we were travelling from a significant distance. I had messaged this Rob person and informed him. Very crap at responding back and also took a considerable amount of time responding back. We arrived at the venue (May i also add, complete joke!) and explained to the host but had been extremely dismissive and said we can wait upstairs if we want to join in later. We left. The event was empty and subpar. I had sent a complaint explaining and this Rob person, was beyond rude with his response to myself and my friend. Instead of being professional about it all, he’s decided to become some kind of mean girl and send a 20 page essay full of ignorance and disrespect. I cannot even begin to explain the type of response he sent back. As someone who is working for a customer focused environment, this man most definitely needs a tone of etiquette training on how to respond to emails. Date in a dash is an absolute joke. The amount of people who’ve also requested refunds due to the same nature and have not received back is ridiculous. I’m beyond disappointed and will be sure to inform others not to attend any event from this company. I’ll say it again, DATE IN A DASH IS CRAP! Should’ve followed my friends instincts and not bothered. What a joke and thanks to Rob and his ignorant responses that’s put me right off ever attending events like this.

Attended the singles comedy open mike night.
The host Rob was very welcoming, myself and my friend had not attended any previous events, so didn't know what to expect.
We were a little anxious as the audience were invited on stage to tell a funny/awful dating experience, most of the people (around 20) felt comfortable in being able to get up and share a story, I even got up myself!
The atmosphere felt very supportive which I felt was reflective in how many people got up.
Thank you for a lovely evening, I have already signed up for my second event.

this is a sick joke. Apparently, there is no such manchester event booked. I drove all the way from Leeds to Manchester, paid for thir car park, and when I arrived at the event location.

Bar staff told me there is no such event and, in fact, people coming every few Wednesdays and asking for this event. This must be a scam company selling fake tickets with no such actual events.??

I have emailed you varies times, you not still refunded me, neither never replied to my emails. Clearly,you are trying to steal money with fake events. Even the event center confirmed they get atleast 2 or people coming every 2 weeks people like me. Stop scamming people, its not cool. Its a shame I can't upload any screenshots here, otherwise I would uploads all the email I sent you regarding my payment.

It’s worth giving a try the host was approachable and they explained everything clearly.

12th March event in Manchester cancelled due to low numbers. Refund initially refused by Rob, instead offered to transfer my ticket to another night; but clearly the company doesn't have market penetration in Manchester and the next event is likely to suffer the same fate and get cancelled. Rob conceded to a refund on the 17th March. Despite polite chasing since, the refund has still not been received 4th April. From reviews below, it looks like I'm not the only one to experience this attitude. Should be rebranded SlapDash. Avoid.
