Good dating event to meet other singles in person. There is an age range which helps find someone of a more similar age. The event was at Forge Bar which is a nice cocktail bar in central London. Well organised by Rob who is a friendly and helpful host.

Very well organised speed dating night…
Very well organised speed dating night at The Forge. Rob was an approachable, caring host and also responds to my every request via email. Lots of us felt that the dates could be longer than 3.5 minutes but that’s my only qualm!

Great fun, highly recommend.
Really fun event with like minded people. No pressure or hassle and just enough time with each date to tweak your interest or not having to worry about running out of chat. Felt quite natural and kind. I’d definitely do it again.

DateInADash was my first ever speed…
DateInADash was my first ever speed dating experience and I enjoyed it very much.
I did not really date after my divorce, so the evening provided a delightful opportunity to dress up and meet nice gentlemen. I could tell by the way people at nearby tables were happily chatting that they, too, were also having a good time.
I look forward to more of these enjoyable events in the future.

Event cancelled just hours before
I purchased tickets for this event, but it was cancelled and my refund requests were not honoured. When I contacted the organisers via email, the responses were unprofessional and dismissive. On the day of the event, attendees at the venue confirmed that the event did not take place, and there was no staff present to manage the situation. Eventbrite was unable to resolve the issue. I cannot recommend this company based on my experience.

Paid for virtual speed dating
Paid for virtual speed dating. It got cancelled and I was told to rebook but they said they didn’t do virtual dating anymore. I explained my sciatica and the only reason I booked virtual was because of my severe back pain and then they ghosted me. Disgusting. Chasing them nonstop so complete scam and keeping a disabled person’s money

Disorganised and not as advertised
I went to two events recently, on both occasions the venue was changed last minute. At the last event, assuming they didn't have enough people, we were combined with other age groups, some attendees were almost 20 years younger than me. The venue was loud and we were squashed in a row facing the busy bar which attracted a lot of stares from other customers, making an awkward situation even more uncomfortable. As an apology, we received free ticket to another event.

The festive period is always a challenging time, as venues are extremely busy and have less flexibility, but we work hard to ensure events still go ahead rather than cancelling. This can occasionally lead to last-minute venue changes, which we appreciate can be frustrating.
We’d also like to clarify that all attendees were within the advertised age range. Our age groups are intended as a guide rather than a strict rule, but we understand that the overall dynamic of the group and venue atmosphere is just as important to enjoying the experience.
We regret that the layout and noise level of the venue made the evening feel awkward, and we appreciate you bearing with us. Your feedback has been taken on board, and we hope the complimentary ticket allows us the opportunity to deliver a much better experience next time.

Date in a Dash, Stand up shows are good for a laugh
I attended the stand up comedy show on Wednesday at Bar rumba and it's a great way to meet others. Different from the usual speed dating and far more of a laugh, until you get picked to go up and have a go on stage that is!
I have also attended Speed Dating events and I find the ratio of men to women perfect, but the venue changed both times i've attended which left me a little confused. But it was communicated effectively and the nights I attended did lead to matches.
I would recommend Date in A Dash as its a fun way to meet potential dates.

Fab night with great hosts and a nice crowd. The events are really professionally run and well-attended and drinks are super cheap (2.50 for a glass of wine!)! I’ve done a lock and key party and comedy night- both were great nights and I met lots of great people. Will definitely be back!

Lesbian Speed Dating
I enjoyed the Date in a Dash Lesbian Speed Dating I attended. The event was well run with a good host and I appreciated the score cards. I thought it was efficient that they also ran the Gay Speed Dating at the same venue - it was more relaxed as we could see the other restaurant attendees were here for the same purpose.
However, I had originally signed up to attend this event six weeks ago. The event was cancelled multiple times with no option for a refund. The only option was to shift to another event. For the lesbian clientele, there are limited options to reschedule.
UK consumer legislation requires the company to provide an option for a refund, which applies irrespective of a company's terms and conditions. I suggest this company changes its practices to provide the option for a refund when events are cancelled.

Poor organisation and a very disappointing experience
I booked a speed dating event for Friday 28 November and arrived to find that the listed venue had not accepted bookings for several months. The staff at the venue advised me to try a nearby club as it was apparently the new location. When I arrived I was told that the event had been over subscribed and the venue had cancelled.
I contacted them afterwards to request a refund and reimbursement for my travel expenses, but my email has been ignored.
The experience showed a complete lack of organisation and communication from Dateinadash. I was left confused, inconvenienced and disappointed. Avoid and try other agencies or organisers.

The venue was well organised with a lot of work done to set everything up. You definitely felt like it was a safe experience with many people in the same boat as you. The staff were friendly and I met a lot of like minded people.

The event itself was fine, but unfortunately, I didn’t match with anyone. After the event, I emailed to ask if I could attend another event for free, but I never received a response. It’s disappointing that my follow-up inquiry was ignored.

Event cancelled and no refund
I signed up for a Date in a Dash comedy speed dating event, even prepared my own comedic material for it. On the day, I found out only 7–8 hours before that the event had been cancelled. The notification was buried in my junk mail, and I was never informed directly. To make matters worse, my refund has not been processed. Extremely disappointing communication and abysmal service. Do not recommend. Have to now file a dispute with my bank.
