I had the good fortune to stay at Villa Splendito listed through CV Villas as part of a concession through a member of staff.
The Villa is stunning, situated in the hills above Agios Stefanos on the north east side of Corfu Island. It’s a modern villa, open plan, lots of glass rather than a more traditional Greek type building. The views from most rooms and balconies are beautiful looking over the sea towards Corfu town and Albania in the distance. A car is definitely required as there are no places to walk to eat or shop. Lovely tavernas are easy to reach by car and are too numerous to mention here. On the Wednesday night during the season there is a staff and visitor
welcome night at Wave Bar in Stefanos where I was provided with complementary drinks and nibbles which was a nice touch and also great fun! Didn’t book any chef or excursions as I was happy to buy food in the local supermarkets and had a car for trips out. Would recommend very highly.

Just come back from a lovely stay with CV in Corfu in their villa Splendito. The villa had outstanding views over the bays and a lovely pool and BBQ/Entertaining area.

The interior was just as nice with a good lounge area which we used when the weather took a turn for the worse one afternoon!

My family and I have been on several CV Villa holidays and stayed in many of their villas and the standard is always exceptional. Staff both in London and in the resorts are always friendly and helpful and the customer service is second to none from start to finish. And most importantly of all the villas are always breathtakingly beautiful. Thank you, CV!

I’ve stayed at CV’s villas several times over the years (Greece, Turkey, Spain) and it’s always been such a great experience. The villas are beautifully kept, really clean, and the staff check in during the week to make sure everything stays that way. The team is easy to communicate with and always really helpful, which makes the whole trip smooth and stress free. I’d definitely recommend them if you’re looking for a relaxing and reliable villa stay!

2nd time of travelling with CV Villas, both times have been exceptional from start to finish. Jo in the London office is so knowledgeable and gave us honest advice when we couldn't decide on which villa to book and perfect recommendations for restaurants in Kassiopi and nearby San Stefano as well as places to see. We stayed in villa Lithari in Kassiopi, the villa was again perfect, a wonderful infinity pool, plentiful seating and dining options inside and outside, comfortable beds, great bathrooms and all so clean. It was only a short walk down to the harbour, which is full of restaurants and bars. Our rep Marco was also fantastic, always available and we never felt like anything was too much trouble, he also gave us recommendations of things to do in Corfu Town, offered to make reservations and even delivered us a bottle of wine as we were celebrating my wife's new job!

Fantastic stay! So helpful, stunning villa, everything was as promised. Pool man came by every morning to ensure the water was safe. Welcome pack was just what we needed after a long day of travelling. Would definitely use CV again!!!!

Our stay at the villa in Corfu was nothing short of unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the breathtaking views of the Ionian Sea and the peaceful setting nestled among olive groves. The location offered the perfect balance between seclusion and convenience—just a short drive to charming local tavernas, beaches, and Corfu Town.

The villa itself was spotless, beautifully designed, and felt like a true home away from home. The rooms were spacious and airy, with large windows that filled the space with natural light. The private pool was the highlight of our trip—we spent mornings lounging by the water and evenings watching the sunset with a glass of local wine.

What really stood out, though, was the hospitality. The hosts went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, offering thoughtful touches like a welcome basket with fresh fruit and wine, as well as helpful recommendations for places to visit and eat.

We left feeling completely relaxed and already planning our return. If you’re looking for a peaceful, luxurious retreat in Corfu with authentic Greek charm, this villa is the perfect choice.

My family and i spent a wonderful week at Bugainvillas in Calahonda. The villa was amazing.... beautiful grounds, amazing pool and hot tub. The villa was spacious and beautifully decorated. Out door space was also second to none. CV Villas were fantastic. Always contactable if required, faultless service. Super helpful guides pre travel.
The villa is in a fabulous location, quiet and peaceful but close enough to all amenities and the beach, which is stunning.
Would definitely book again!

We recently stayed at a CV Villa in Corfu in St Stefanos and the service is outstanding, I have never had a better service at any other booking operator. From choosing the Villa, flights, car hire, where to grocery shop it was all made so easy. We had staff at both airports to greet and help us and during our stay.
The villa was spotless and stunning, we had a cleaner twice during the weeks stay and a pool cleaner daily!
I will definitely be booking our future holidays with CV Villas. Thank you xx

I’ve stayed in properties in Turkey and Corfu a number of times and have had the best experience - the villas have been immaculate and just as advertised and the communications have been superb especially from the respite reps who check in! Each time it has been with groups of friends, and we wouldn’t hesitate to go back

I have had the absolute pleasure of travelling with CV Villas on an annual basis in a mix of 'standard' to Above properties over the last 6 years. Every trip with CV has been exceptional from the booking process to departure. Whilst there have been a few incidents of items being broken (it's a villa not a hotel and out of CVs control) what keeps them at a 5 star rating is they bend over backwards to have issues resolved swiftly. Their reps on the ground are fabulous and the Corfu team in particular go the extra mile without a doubt. There is a reason my family and I continue to book and I would always recommend to anybody looking for a villa holiday with friends or family!

We had a lovely family holiday to Corfu in August. Travelling with CV Villas was stress free and everything ran smoothly from checking in at Gatwick, our transfer and to arriving at our villa with clear communication throughout. The villa had everything we could ask for and was spotless. We can’t wait to book again with CV.

We had an amazing holiday in Corfu with CV Villas. The villa and location were perfect, and the team made everything so easy – from booking flights to transfers and accommodation. Travelling with young kids can be stressful, but they took all the hassle away and made it such a great experience. Couldn’t recommend them more!

Would give them zero stars for their non-existent customer service due to a confusing information supplied on a villa we rented in Tuscany in July 2025.

The brochure described the property has having
air-conditioning and not having air-conditioning. The property did not so we had to have fans, half of which did not work. The owner then claimed that they had rectified this by bringing two small fans to replace two large oscillating fans- hardly like for like replacements.

The road to the villa, whilst potentially fine during daylight hours, was unlit, extremely steep and with drops and boulders on both sides as well as being narrow. This led us to abandon the villa after three days due to car issues and occur extra cost.

Finally in their arrival pack we were supposed to be met by the owner of the villa who is English. However she could not be bothered to wait for us and left us with a non-English speaking member of staff which did not help the issue we had getting to the villa.

We asked for a contribution towards our additional hotel costs and this was refused despite them having full payment for the villa which we did not use. I would recommend dealing with owners directly if booking a property rather than agent who offers nothing positive. Two properties we booked direct in Italy with the owners went without any issues.

I booked Le Mas d'Isabelle through CV Villas for a family trip, and I faced serious issues from the moment we arrived.

The security was utterly unacceptable. The front door didn't lock, and the only so-called "security" measures were basic wooden shutters (volets battants). These are effective for privacy, but they do nothing to keep intruders out. The owner explicitly told me to "close the shutters and set the alarm" because "someone could smash the window and walk straight in." This is not security; it is a glaring admission of a major vulnerability. We spent our first night in what felt like an open house.

The facilities were also a complete joke. Both ovens were faulty; one was completely dead, and the other barely heated, as confirmed by their electrician. Even the barbecue looked as if it were about 20 years old and was falling apart. On our first night, we could not prepare a meal for ourselves or our small children.

Considering the serious safety risks and the lack of basic, functioning amenities, we left after just one night. CV Villas offered a meagre £500 in "compensation" for a multi-thousand-pound booking. For a company that claims to provide luxury service, this is disgraceful. If you value safety, honesty, and reliable facilities, you should absolutely avoid CV Villas.

RESPONSE:-

Your response is nothing more than predictable PR spin. The fact is, the front door does not lock, and your so-called "security" relies solely on basic wooden shutters. CV Villas stated in writing that "the door does not lock; however, the villa is secured via the outer shutter."

Claiming that these shutters provide "adequate security" is absurd, especially when your representative told me to "close the shutters and set the alarm" because "someone could smash the window and walk straight in." This is not confidence; it's a clear admission of a serious vulnerability.

As for the "other cooking facilities," having only a hob and microwave in a £5.4K Villa is far from what was advertised or expected from a "luxury" villa. If you believe that £500 is fair compensation for unsafe security and broken appliances, you are clearly demonstrating why people should steer clear of booking with you.

Coincidentally, I was sitting with a friend two days ago, and he and his parents had the same experience with CV Villas, a very similar situation to mine. The more I talk to people, the more it is apparent that CV Villas is anything but luxury.

CV Villas have not contacted us directly to even discuss the issues. That just reaffirms their lack of interest in customer satisfaction. We are looking at holidays for next year and will not book with them again.

We have just returned from a week in Kefalonia with CV Villas, and we cannot recommend the island enough—it's truly unspoiled, featuring stunning beaches. Unfortunately, we can't say the same about CV Villas. Like many other reviewers on Trustpilot, we found that the company seems primarily focused on taking your money.
Upon our arrival, we discovered that the freezer was not functioning, and the fridge was not as cold as expected. We didn't hear from our “destination expert” until I reached out to her the day after we arrived, presenting a list of issues we hoped she could resolve. She mentioned that she intended to call us upon our arrival, but due to a mix-up, they had recorded someone else's contact number. She assured us that the owner was securing a new fridge freezer that would be delivered the following day.
We had to wait in for the delivery, which arrived at 3 PM, only to be told we had to wait three hours before turning it on. Additionally, we had to move the appliance out of position to plug it in. We ended up placing food in sinks and rooms with air conditioning to keep it cool, as we were informed that the fridge wouldn't be fully operational until the next morning—three days after we arrived.
In a frustrating conversation, our “destination expert” stated, and I quote, “We should consider ourselves lucky that it only took that amount of time.” Regarding the dishwasher, which also wasn’t working, she remarked, “Nothing wrong with good old-fashioned washing up; I personally prefer it!”
CV Villas is refusing to provide any compensation for the issues and inconveniences we experienced. I cannot emphasize enough that this company prioritizes profit over customer satisfaction. Their enticing promotional material is merely a tactic to attract your hard-earned money, showing little regard for the precious time you want to enjoy during your holiday.

Thank you for your response to my review, it is a shame that your responses whilst we were actually on holiday were not so prompt! We were without cold drinks since we arrived on the Sunday afternoon till the Tuesday morning NOT several hours. We were offered ice and gratefully we went to the directed mini market to be told that no such arrangement had been made so we went back to our villa. This was relayed to our Destination expert and she responded with and I quote "It was a language barrier issue". I did not mention this in my initial review as I felt it was damning enough. With regards to your "destination expert"  lack of memory regarding the dishwasher "luckily" for me I had her on speakerphone and my husband wrote down all of her comments.
This is not the platform with which to argue, I stand by my review ( and in all honesty all your reply does is confirm your lack of concern for your customers and only reiterates your lack of communication skills and clear regard for profit) as I feel it is very important that people are aware of how you operate as a business. We had no cold drinks or functioning fridge/freezer for the first 2 days of our holiday, you mention that you do not expect your customers to maneuver appliances but yet we had to as we had no contact regarding this whats so ever! Any decent company that valued customer service and experience would have acknowledged our experience and compensated accordingly.  Whilst I doubt this will happen you can contact me directly to discuss how you are going to recognise this with the appropriate compensation. 

I made an enquiry about Villa Arethusa, Kefalonia

I received an unsolicited brochure from CV Villas in the post. I looked through it and saw a villa of interest, so I sent a message to them asking a few questions, leaving my email address and phone number for a response. I received an automated response giving an enquiry ref. After three days of hearing nothing from them (I checked spam etc), I chased them up again and to date I've still not received a response. I looked on TrustPilot and noted that CV Villas have received 48% of 1-2 stars - very poor indeed. As other reviewers have said what a strange way to do business, go to the expense of sending out brochures and not respond to enquiries... If the owner of Villa Arethusa, Kefalonia reads this you will see CV Villas are IMHO not acting in your best interests. I shall be taking my business elsewhere now.

A truly magical stay at Villa Bugainvillas in Calahonda, Marbella.
The villa itself is stunning, well maintained, beautifully decorated and thoughtfully laid out for both relaxation and entertaining. Located at short distances to charming local towns, beaches and restaurants. John, the owner, was so helpful and welcoming. He made sure we had everything we needed and was always available to answer any questions or offer local recommendations. His care and attention made a real difference to our stay and added a personal touch that we truly appreciated. P.S. the mattresses were especially worth mentioning, so incredibly comfortable, we all slept like a dream every night. We can't wait to return!
