Awful experience. Cricketdirect refused to exchange a pair of cricket shoes because they showed "clear signs of use". Their photos show faint marks, on 1 toe, on 1 heel, and on the sole, all of which must have been there already, I just didn't notice them. My son had tried the shoes on, indoors, on carpet. He put them on, stood up, said they were too small, then took them off. He didn't even walk in them, so we sent them back in the state they arrived. Of course, there's no way of proving that he didn't put marks on the shoes. With hindsight, I could have inspected the shoes and taken photos when they arrived.I have used this company before, but this is the first time I've tried to exchange something. Avoid.

Ordered and the products arrived within 2 days. Fast and quick :)

With my sons boots ripping on a Saturday, and a very important match in 3/4 days panic set in especially as he is between sizes and we required a 7.5 size. Scrolled the internet and found CricketDirect had the size, we ordered on Saturday evening and emailed to emphasis the urgency. Got a reply first thing Monday morning, spikes shipped out same day and arrived Tuesday morning.

Now if that's not 5 star service at every level I'm not sure it can get any better. Thank you CricketDirect and we will surly return when needing any thing else.

Cricket Direct Ltd is a great place to buy good cricket gear and equipment. It will be my go to shop whenever in need of things for playing cricket.

I’ve placed a number of orders with Cricket Direct and, to be fair, every order has arrived as expected. They have a huge range of cricket equipment, their prices are generally very competitive, and I’ve been happy with the products I’ve received.

However, my experience with their promotions has left a sour taste. I received the same welcome email on four separate occasions advertising 10% off my first order. When I used the code on a £526 order, I was told it was an “IT error” and that the discount should only have been £10, despite the email clearly stating 10% OFF.

Customer services acknowledged the mistake but refused to honour the promotion, offering only to cancel the order. I only proceeded because the bat I’d ordered was around £50 more expensive elsewhere and wasn’t easy to source from another retailer.

So, if you’re buying cricket equipment, I’d say the range, prices and fulfilment are good. Just don’t place too much faith in the promotional discount codes, as my experience suggests they may not always be honoured.

Overall, good products and pricing, but disappointing customer service when things go wrong.

I ordered some shoes and nothing happened for 4 days until I send an emails saying I have had no update they told me 24-48 working hours nothing happened told me that 48hours later again and then told me they had none left and I emailed them and they wouldn’t reply after that

Waited a week before chasing on an order not yet sent. They told me it was being dispatched that day. A week later was told they haven't found the stock. So waited two weeks for a birthday present that hasnt arrived. Romida is a much better site using that now.

NEVER Buy from Cricket Direct

I ordered some cricket spikes, which have never been delivered. When I tried to address this with Cricket Direct, Madusha spoke to me incredibly rudely multiple times.

They are now refusing to answer my calls or help.

NEVER order from this company, their service is disgraceful, and customer care non-existent.

Do not order from this company.

I made an order and after 5 working days chased as it had not been dispatched. The response was I would receive it in 24-48 working hours. I chased the next day as I still had not received any notifications that it had been dispatched. The next response was that they were still waiting on their delivery meaning they never had the stock in the first place.

Some of the worst customer service I have ever received and I have now asked for a refund. From other reviews this is a common occurrence!

I had not seen trust pilot before purchase and now I had the bad experience as well. Lost money and bat.

Cricket Direct initially confirmed that a refund would be processed, only to change their position after 10 days and falsely claim the bat had been used and had ball marks.

Very concerning behaviour – promising a refund and then trying to avoid it with unsupported claims. I would be cautious when dealing with their returns process.

Specially when they are having a online store.

Terrible customer service - didn't post for over a week, said it would be here next day, then one item was missing so it didn't arrive in time for my sons birthday. Lied about delivery dates on numerous occasions and sadly I did not check this site prior to ordering.

Ordered a pair of wicket keeper inners for my son, paid for and expected with first class postage. Nothing arrived then after I week I have to chase and then they say there is no stock. Very poor advertising something in stock and then no communication saying it is not. Wasted time and added another 2 weeks when my son has no equipment. Avoid

Saw all the bad reviews after buying and was pretty worried, but items arrived on time (quickly) and were both great. I got thigh and leg pads which were what I ordered, but I will say with the aero strippers order one size up than the size guide tells you to, just as mine were a bit smaller than expected. I ordered from the UK.

Fast to take my order and payment, but then they handed it over to a third-party company that hit me with huge customs, delivery, and admin fees—more than what I originally paid for the item. If you’re outside the UK, do not use this business. They don’t care about you at all. When I asked for a refund, they said they’d deduct all those extra costs, leaving me no choice but to pay more than double the original price. Be warned.

I bought a bat at the end of April. The bat arrived after a week. my first nets session the bat broke in half at the toe and the crack extended all the way round the back till the handle. I took the bat back myself the next day (May 5th) . At first I was told they would need to investigate even though it was clearly a manufacturer fault and that it would take 2 weeks to issue the refund. after 2 weeks i had to email and chase them up after which i found out they sent the bat to GM for them to verify the manufacturer fault. I had to email back myself in order to find out this information they just didn't email at all. after another week I chased them up and was told I would be issued a refund after 5-7 days. again no one informed me that I would be getting the refund it was only after I chased them up. now its been around 7-8 days and still no money back. its been a month and a bit since I've given the bat back. my honest honest advice to everyone is to spend a bit more if needed but buy from a place with good trusted reviews its not worth putting up with these people they themselves obviously do not care about the business they are running.

Terrible Company. DO Not Deal with this company. Sent a damaged bat which was birthday gift for my daughter. When asked to return they said Return at your own expense. I asked for discount if I order another bat to cover the postage cost and did not agree. I asked to talk to supervisor and say nothing can be done . Return if you want at your own expense. Terrible customer service. Extremely rude and not bothered. This was a birthday gift for my daughter and it ruined the experience. Never AGAIN

Didn't refund my returns until I chased and then refunded me short. I have initiated a chargeback they will now have to pay the bank a admin fee to deal with that which will be more then my few quid short!

NEVER BUY FROM THIS COMPANY The shoes were too small but when I tried to return/exchange them I was told I couldn't. On pointing out that I had the right to cancel the contract within 14 days under reg 29 CCR 2013 - I got this response "Are you not getting the point why your can not return the product? your product is not in resalable condition as you confirmed the ORIGINAL MANUFACTURE BOX is no longer with the pacakge (sic). "

Ordered before I saw the reviews. Was really worried. Bat arrived in 2 days, great price and simple process. Son is delighted with the bat.
